About this cabin rental
Welcome to the Catskills Cabin on the Creek! A rustic yet modern retreat located in the heart of the Catskills, our newly renovated cabin is a year-round escape just 2 hours from NYC. Nestled among the trees and minutes away from Phoenicia, Woodstock, and Hunter Mountain, this secluded property offers the best of the Catskills right outside your door. Whether you’re here for mountain hikes, the small-town atmosphere, skiing, or exploring the local restaurant scene, you’ll find it all here!
We recently renovated our cabin, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of the Catskills. With a blend of modern amenities and rustic charm, the design reflects the Catskills vibe while offering all the comforts of a modern retreat.
The cabin features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, perfect for accommodating families or groups. The open living area boasts reclaimed heart pine floors, hand-hewn beams and panels, and a wood-burning fireplace for cozy nights in. Relax in the adjacent reading and TV nook, enjoy a coffee or glass of wine at the dedicated station, or cook up a feast in our fully equipped kitchen with a warm, inviting vibe. Step outside to find a brand new hot tub, a gas grill, and a fire pit, all overlooking the peaceful creek.
Each bedroom offers new beds with premium 100% linen and organic cotton bedding for a restful night’s sleep:
-The “Fox Room” features a queen bed, winter-themed decor, and a desk for remote work or quiet reflection.
-The “Bear Room” includes two twin beds, providing flexibility for different group sizes.
-The “Fish Room” offers a double bed and celebrates local fly-fishing, including a piece by a local artist.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking and baking, including a gas stove and a center island perfect for conversation while preparing meals. The window above the sink offers stunning views of the creek and surrounding mountains, making even dish duty a pleasure.
Two newly renovated bathrooms, one on each floor, come stocked with Public Goods products to enhance your stay.
We have poured our heart into creating a space that feels both beautiful and inviting—a place you’ll want to return to again and again. We hope you enjoy every moment of your stay and kindly ask that you respect our home and belongings.

We had a fantastic time at the cabin. Great space with a wonderful fireplace that led to lots of late night game playing (and a few cocktails)! The property is beautiful with the roaring creek just down the hill. A perfect stay!

This cute cabin had everything we needed. Clean, with great attention to detail, nice sheets and products, and a nice supply of well seasoned wood for the amazing wood burning fireplace insert! Loved it.

We had an amazing stay. The property is only a few minutes from town but surrounded by trees giving it a secluded feeling which is exactly what we were looking for. We especially enjoyed the tasteful upscale decor and amenities. Cleanliness is our #1 priority when lodging and we were very impressed! Everything was very clean and thoughtfully layed out. Love the linen bedding! Looking forward to staying again next year. My only recommendation is that the TV should be mounted on the wall with an extendable arm so it can be seen from the large sofa for group viewing. We did miss out on « family movie night ».

We absolutely loved our visit— and couldn’t have asked for a better home away from home. The house was perfectly appointed down to the smallest details. We certainly appreciated the gift of wine and coffee and the stocked supplies—- so very thoughtful! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the water rushing by—-peaceful and relaxing (made better by a glass of wine!). And the location couldn’t have been more perfect for adventuring and fly fishing. We were having such a good time we extended our visit! Thank you for wonderful stay and we look forward to a return trip!

Our stay for the weekend was amazing! The aesthetic of the house was perfect and each room had its own character. They left us coffee and tea for the morning and had all the essentials- wine opener, French press, coffee grinder, Brita filter, etc. we cannot wait to come back and stay!
