Beautifully appointed beach home located right across from the scenic wetlands & sparkling Bay with huge and bright living, dining & kitchen area all rolled into one room - perfect to host a family for great vacation memories! Besides watching the sky change colors & the birds wake up in the morning from your covered east facing deck, you will also enjoy a lovely west facing deck which overlooks the water as well. Whether sunrise or sunset, you're sure to have photo ops galore!
The Space:
Kitchen has an enormous island complete with barstool seating, 2 dishwashers, Bosch double oven, wet bar w/disposal, counter space, cabinets and drawers galore! You will be all set to prepare the most "master" chef inspired of meals or just throw a couple of pizzas in the double oven!
SLEEPING/BATH CONFIGURATION: (Sleeps 10- 12 comfortably)

Jamaica Beach is its own community located about 10 minutes from the heart of Galveston and is part of the island’s West End offering restaurants, grocery, and beach-worthy activities. Jamaica Beach has access to the Gulf side as well as the Bay side (house dependent) and also has its own fire and police department plus city park with pool. Jamaica Beach's boat launch is restricted. If you plan on bringing a boat, the closest public launch is at Waterman's off Stewart Road about 3 miles east of Jamaica Beach.

Annual college friends Girls Trip! The house was amazing! Loved the large kitchen! Room for everyone to gather and hang out! Stocked with everything we needed! Loved both the porches! We stayed outside a lot and enjoyed the water views! It was really nice having a restroom downstairs by the water! Would definitely stay there again!!

Great Views and Location
A beautiful property with an outstanding kitchen. Amazing views of wildlife in the morning and evening of the marsh. The canal was nice and clean with great swimming and kayaking. Easy access to the bay by boat opened up more activities. Some deferred maintenance needs to be repaired, but nothing major.

We had the best experience staying at the Jolly Roger. The home was everything they said it was and more. The 979 group was easy to communicate with and always accessible. The homely was recently renovated and the owners spared no expense. Very roomy and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Interior of the home was lovely - and exactly as depicted online. Beds were comfortable, plenty of seating in living area and dining, the kitchen is wonderful, bathrooms and showers were great. Just a few mentions though that should be repaired for the price of this property - one of the ladders on bunk bed is broken and won't stay attached, the automatic shutter in this room is also missing/broken so you can't maintain privacy is this room, there is a missing blind in the living area as well, the fan in the master bedroom is broken (or at least we could not get it to work - while we were able to get the others working). On the outside, the rear deck has a couple of rails in the railing that are rotted through and could be dangerous for small children. The captain's chairs on this deck were very comfortable - but also noticed some of the chairs have areas that are starting to rot and need repair. On the deck outside the master bedroom - we only sat there once for maybe 10 minutes as the cushions were so stained and soiled no one (including children) felt comfortable sitting. That is really a shame - this should be immediately addressed. And this just wasn't from seagulls. The outdoor grill - while usable, also has some issues. The flame guard is coming loose and the burners need to be cleaned as there seems to be only high flame or no flame. In addition, there is a cable lock so we were not able to move the grill to get out of the wind. Finally - which probably bothered us the most, the bottom deck - while very lovely with swing and ample seating - was covered in grime/dirt which turned the bottom of children's feet black. This wasn't just a little sand or dust. If I could have found a hose I would have rinsed it off myself. Very disappointing - as the yard was mowed before our arrival, but no one took the time to prepare the deck for their guests. I recommend these items are addressed before your next guest as I would consider this property a premium property and needs to be maintained as such.

King Beds were very comfortable, bunk room for kids was perfect. Bedding and towels first class! Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

We loved the location of the beach house! Having our own dock right off the water was amazing. Our family would wake up and go fishing or just hang out there right by the water. The home was clean, beds were amazing, and had plenty of room for all 11 of us! We would definitely stay there again!
