About this villa rental
Immerse yourself in the serenity and natural beauty of the French Riviera at this magnificent villa! Located at an elevation of 460 meters, the property boasts an impeccable panorama stretching all the way to the Azur sea where on a clear day the island of Corsica emerges on the horizon.
Set in its own microclimate ancient palms and chestnuts stand in its scented Mediterranean garden where a large swimming pool and summer kitchen allow guests to spend the day contemplating their surroundings.
Space abounds in this stunning five-bedroomed home. Although large, it remains entirely intimate in proportions. Light rebounds throughout the house. Rooms open out to wonderful terraces that offer a dominant position onto the beautifully manicured grounds with far reaching views across the rolling hills to the sea. The mature gardens extend to 3,000 square metres of lush vegetation. Here, a large swimming pool (15m x 7m) has been artfully built, with pool house and barbecue to complete the scene.
A drawing room is on the main level, as is the formal dining room with French windows opening onto a courtyard and fountain. There's also a kitchen with adjacent storeroom, a breakfast room (or morning room) with fireplace, an office and a fully equipped gym with treadmill, bicycle, cross-trainer, bench and weights and bar + yoga mats and yoga balls.
Upstairs, spread over two further floors, are five air conditioned bedrooms. They are connected by a spiral staircase, which winds up to a viewing tower (the belvedere) offering 360-degree views of the surrounding countryside, sea and mountains. The first floor offers three double bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom and two of them lead out onto a private terrace.
The second floor has another bedroom with Queen-size bed as well as a large dormitory-style bedroom with two sets of twin beds. Both bedrooms on the second floor share a bathroom with separate bath and shower.
In the basement there is the obligatory wine cellar, a storage room and utilities room.

The Villa Angeletto is a very pictoresk, traditional villa on a large estate with a marvellous view on the olive grove of the opposite hill, very well equipped & maintained by the owner and Sarah, the local keeper. Outstanding is the large covered terrace/pergola with its nice view, the huge and sufficiently deep swimming pool (incl. very nice pool house) as well as the beautiful garden. The house is staffed with a mixture of very nice old furniture in the background suiting the style of the house whereas the frequently used furniture as well as the kitchen being rather new and practical , so you are not all the time concerned something expensive may break. The beaches can be reached in 30-40 minutes. The city of Grasse can be reached by foot in 25 minutes. All-in-all, a highly recommendable place.

Excellent
Spent a week in this fantastic house in july. Overall a great experience.
Positive - mostly everything
Negative - dull kitchen knives, pool was a bit old, very hot in the bedrooms with no a/c.
