Please note: There is restricted head room in the bedroom and bathroom due to sloping ceilings and low beams.. Hidden away behind the owner’s home in the popular village of Osmotherley, guests will find The Boiler House is in the perfect location from which to explore this beautiful area. Perfect for guests wishing to enjoy a romantic break, walkers and cyclists, The Boiler House is situated right on the cusp of the North York Moors and surrounded by magnificent countryside and scenery where guests will find plenty of established public footpaths and cycle paths from which to explore the surrounding villages and towns. In the heart of Osmotherley and only a short walk away from The Boiler House, there are three super pubs which all serve top quality local produce as well as a fish and chip shop and village store. For guests looking to explore a little further afield the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales also provide the perfect countryside through which to wander and explore the dales, becks and waterfalls that this beautiful county has to offer.
The small town of Northallerton is only seven miles away, the chic small town of Yarm 11 miles away and the thriving market town of Helmsley just 15 miles. A little further afield but still within an hour’s drive guests will also be able to visit the beautiful and historic Georgian town of Richmond which settles high above the River Swale and offers panoramic views across the surrounding area as well as the opportunity to explore the many antiques shops, cafes, restaurants and bistros. Also within an hour’s drive guests will find that The Boiler House the ideal location from which to explore the cathedral cities of York and Durham where there are many historic attractions including York Minster, Durham Castle and also the famous Jorvick Viking Centre.
The Boiler House has been renovated and furnished to the highest of standards. On the ground floor guests will find a well presented lounge and open plan kitchen area that has French doors leading out on to the private rear garden. On the first floor is a good sized twin bedroom with a well finished en-suite shower room that has the added comfort of a shower cubicle and heated towel rail. Perfect for couples or guests with one small child, guests will find the accommodation welcoming, cosy and warm with all the facilities needed to enjoy a well earned holiday.
