We had a fantastic stay. The location is close to everything you’d want to visit, has stunning views and a great local restaurant within walking distance. The home is cozy, well kept and supplied everything we needed for the week.

Super central, quiet, beautiful sunsets and a comfortable place to live for a while.

The cottage had everything we needed, with the minor exception of pods for the Nespresso in the kitchen. The cottage was spotless at arrival. The bedrooms and living room were lovely and very comfortable. The views from the property are stunning. It’s a wonderful location in the charming village of Churchill. Dinner and drinks at Chequers were a treat.
From a customer service standpoint, there was minimal contact from the rental agency but this didn’t bother us and may have been a function of our short-notice booking and the stay being on the weekend. For self-sufficient guests who are happy to simply get an email from StayCotswolds containing the house rules, clear instructions, and the passcode for the house keys, this minimal-contact system works well (as it did for us). We appreciated the low-stress, quiet, and peaceful stay.
Overall, we had an excellent experience and would definitely stay at Orchard Cottages again.

Nicely furnished and comfortable, and very good location for visiting the cotwolds main towns/villages.
Would visit again and recommend to others.

We very much enjoyed our week in the cottage and seeing and exploring as much as possible - by foot and by car - in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Favorite memories include eating outside under the little tree and enjoying the fresh air and views, watching the stars at night, the scent of lavender and discovering a new flower - the beautiful passion flower vine in the back garden, and most of all, the lovely peace and quiet of the location. The cottage is nicely and comfortably decorated and is well appointed. The linens and towels were very nice. We could have done with at least one fan as we experienced unexpected high temperatures. We met many lovely residents of Churchill and we really enjoyed the local pub which was a short walk from the cottage with good eats and drinks. We truly hope to return!

We loved this little cottage. The views were perfect and peaceful. We found the house in excellent clean condition. The kitchen had all the needed essentials. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. We loved waking through the village and even had dinner at the local restaurant, highly recommended. Would definitely go here again.

Orchard Cottage is a really convenient location with a beautiful outlook and view, it is ideal for a peaceful weekend in beautiful countryside, yet with convenient access to the village - really lovely

Fantastic stay for my uncle’s 70th birthday - idyllic cottage in perfect location. We loved the outdoor space for al fresco dining and garden games, and felt very relaxed in the space. All of the rooms and living room were very comfortable, and the cottage was well equipped with books and games and extra little touches but it would have been good to have a few glasses etc. in the event of having all six guests. We also struggled to get any hot water despite the instructions provided so had a couple of cold showers and cold water for washing up. Given the cottage was very expensive, it would also have been nice to have a welcome pack with some food bits and recommendations for the area. There was a distinct lack of instructions and recommendations in the cottage. Overall we had a great time, just a couple of constructive comments.

Such a delight
The house was a warm and welcoming clean cottage with beautiful calm decor. The kitchen was well equipped with all necessary tools.
The views from the kitchen and the main bedroom were extremely beautiful. We all enjoyed staying there and wished our stay was longer.
I highly recommend it.

Cozy cottage in excellent location
Lovely cottage with everything needed for a comfortable stay all prepared in the cottage (eg cooking utensils, sheets, towels etc). Great decors throughout and particularly enjoyed the cozy living room with open fire. Christmas tree was a really nice touch during the festive season. View from the master bedroom was fantastic waking up to. Secluded location off the main street so very quiet. Very close to Daylesford farm or the nearest high street supermarket is less than 10min drive away. Great base to explore the rest of the Cotswold. Only recommendation would be to update the bathroom or else would definitely stay again!

Long weekend stay
A great weekend away in a lovely secluded location with a beautiful view! Plenty of parking, and great garden space!

2 Orchard Cottages
A well presented, beautiful property set back from the road giving a sense of seclusion. Lovely views to wake up to with the front of the property overlooking a large field with 2 horse in.
Customer service okay but didn't respond to one question we had regarding whether the property had an iron.
Slight scare as our 1 year old was temporarily trapped in one of the bedrooms as the door handle came loose and trapped him inside.

A very nice country stay
The cottage was both very well equipped and very nice and clean. We didn't want for anything at the cottage (one of the double beds was quite hard / solid to sleep on but this is a very minor gripe). Nice garden area and very nice property.
Situated in a quiet village so you definitely need a car to get out and about to see the local sights, towns etc. The location is a nice mix of peace and quiet and being able to get out and about visiting.
We had lots of choice for pubs to visit for food - but generally we travelled outside the immediate Churchill area to eat and drink. The local places in the village didn't seem to offer what we needed as a family. We can definitely recommend looking around for country pubs in the surrounding area.
The StayCotswold staff were very friendly / easy to deal with as well.

Stay at 2 Orchard Cottages
What a fabulous property! So perfectly located for long walks and a trip to the amazing Chequers in Churchill, as well as a short drive to Chipping Norton. The house is beautiful and really is a home from home, we had such a lovely trip and can't wait to get back to the Cotswolds!
