Heacham itself, whilst only a village, has many of the amenities you would expect to find in a small town and of course it has that wonderful beach offering great swathes of golden sand. Head East from here, and you will find lots of great towns and villages offering a range of coastal habitats including sand and shingle beaches, clay and salt marshes and picturesque quays. Head to Hunstanton for lots of traditional seaside attractions including amusements, a sealife centre and a small funfair. From here you can also take seasonal boat trips to see the seals. Or drive further along the coast and explore Wells-next-the-Sea, remembering to have your camera ready while you watch the small fishing boats bobbing on the tide at the picturesque quayside.
