This house was a 10. I would have been happy to stay, hang out and curl up with a book but our family had so much planned. This beautifully decorated home was perfect for our group of ten.
The kitchens were well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of gathering space. Would stay here again.

Location of property is good. Approximately 1.5 miles from downtown activities and an easy walk. Also well located to visit other sites around Charleston and easy to get to from the highway.
We booked the entire property at 154 Spring Street, so all three floors of the house. The first floor (154A) has four bedrooms and three baths. The couch in the common area was broken--one side of the couch had completely collapsed. The bed in the main bedroom (that has an ensuite bathroom) was not in a bed frame and simply balanced on the floor and was uneven. The bathroom faucets in two of the bathrooms barely provided water (water pressure in the house was good and one bathroom faucet did work properly).
The second floor (154B) has a full kitchen but did not have a table for eating. The common area is large enough for a table of some type, but we were forced to eat at a chair or couch. The main bedroom (with an ensuite) had a door knob that was broken (would come off in your hand). None of the 3 bathroom faucets on the second floor worked properly--two barely trickled water and the other one did not even have a trickle of water. The "shower" in the the main bathroom ensuite had good water pressure but it was placed over a clawfoot tub surrounded in a shower curtain--which was difficult to step up in (as there was no safety rail and it was a fairly large step up or out into the tub).
The third floor is a very narrow and steep set of stairs to access (just so all know who may consider renting this house).
Also, access through the front door on the street level (the pink door in the picture above) does not have any handrails--which was difficult for some of our family to go up and down (we had some seniors and one adult with disabilities in our party).

The Inns at 154 Spring provided a wonderful respite for our girls reunion weekend. The space was ample, the kitchen set up and supplies were just enough and the charming decor and convenient location made for an absolutely perfect Charleston experience.

This place is simply incredible! The Inns blew away our expectations. Our Unit 154C was simply stunning. We loved the decor, the comfort, and especially the location. It's close to everything you need! The hosts were extremely responsive and friendly. It felt like a true piece of luxury for such an affordable price. Our only regret is that we couldnt stay longer! Highly highly recommend

Perfect for a large group
I booked this property for a party of 12 women. It was the perfect amount of space for our party. There were two modern kitchens and plenty of bathrooms. The 9 bedrooms available comfortably accommodated our group, allowing those who wanted privacy to occupy single bedrooms. The large porch on the second floor was perfect for out group to gather. It would have been nice to have a larger indoor gathering space off the first-floor kitchen. We often gathered there and it felt cramped with not enough seats for everyone. I would absolutely rent this home again.

We will stay again if the opportunity arises.

Clean and modern apartment, in a charming historic home- I ended up staying at 90 Spring.
This review is for 90 Spring St. Unit D- Excellent small apartment, good if you are going to be out and about, not so good for hanging in-doors as living area is small.
Good location, easy walk to King St.
Only thing that would be nice is chairs for porch.

Wonderful stay in Charleston
I recently stayed at this property with my family and had a wonderful time. The rental was clean, nicely decorated and provided us with all that we needed. The neighborhood was charming and we had a number of restaurants within walking distance. The beds were also very comfortable!

Lovely place
The unit was just beautiful. Everything was so thoughtful. In an area that is often loud with exterior noises from neighbors and the road, they have made it a non issue.

Space with lots of charm
The apartment itself was really lovely, tons of character in what seems like an up and coming part of town. The building is old but the unit is renovated incredibly well, it was a comfortable space for my family and me. Communication with the management company was not great though, a bit impersonal - when inquiring about additional parking the reply looked like a cut and paste from a previous email we’ve received. It’s really important to note that parking is limited on site, only one spot per unit, so if traveling with multiple vehicles take the additional parking garage fee into account.

Had a wonderful time
My husband and I had a great time! What a beautifully decorated place! We took our bikes and were able to bike many places from The Inns. The weather was superb and the guests in the other units were quiet and friendly.

Cant say enough great things about this place! My wife and I just stayed with our two young kids and it was perfect for us. The entire place is so beautifully decorated and so comfortable. You feel like you are at home. Everything we could need was provided and the location was great! Our only complaint is that when checking out, we were carrying out all of our luggage, the babies and there stuff and were hoping to park the car right out front in 30 minute parking spot to make it easier to load up and not have to walk but the cleaners had already shown up an hour and a half before check out. They parked right out front and watched us but didn’t move, which was frustrating. Other than that, everything was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Cozy Stay
This VRBO was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay. The beds were especially comfortable. The TV was a little tricky but we were able to figure it out. Nearby is a great coffee shop/cafe, 132 Spring Coffee Bar and Kitchen, easy walk for coffee/breakfast and/or lunch. We would stay again - the only change I would suggest is adding dish soap for cleaning dishes. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The apartment is lovely. Beds we're extremely comfortable, kitchen is small but fit our needs.
We were 2 couples visiting Charleston for the first time. We will both return to stay at this apartment again. About a 5 minute drive to center of town, excellent overall stay.

Beautiful home
My husband and I stayed here for a quick getaway. The house is absolutely adorable and clean. It was very cozy and felt like home. It’s only about 8 blocks to King Street with great spots to see/stop in on the way. They were doing a lot of construction while we were there so it was a little noisy, but it didn’t bother us. You are also close to the hospital. There was a Keurig with coffee, but no mugs. So we just walked two minutes to 132 spring street which is a cute coffee shop with pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Highly recommend and we hope to come back soon and stay here again!
