Wayyyyy too crowded of a resort. Beach too crowded as well. Excuse of this it wasn’t very clean. Hard to get beach/pool chairs. Rooms cleaned infrequently and not well. We always stay at these Marriott properties and this was the worst.

Great facility! h
It has multiple pools and is right on the beach—clean, well-maintained facility and friendly staff.
I would highly recommend it. I will definitely return

Went through Vrbo to get two reservations in same place at same time. Knew it was going to be difficult as I wanted two two-bedroom units. To be honest I was skeptical when Vacation Candy stepped in (as I never heard of them) with what I wanted but they were wonderful. Had some questions and a few problems and they responded immediately. The units were exactly as promised. Would definitely use them again! My family had an amazing time. Thank you Vacation Candy and Vrbo!

This is our second time staying on this property. Our first visit was in June of 2018. Being a little older and with my adult children older too it was a little different experience. The room and all areas of the resort are very clean and well maintained. The kitchen and baths well equipped too. Some rules have changed with the lazy river. Everyone must be in a float of some type. This gets a little dicey since any float left unattended becomes fair game for being taken! Place your name on yours, secure it (wind takes them too) and have a little peace of mind that it will be at your chair when you return from the pool bar. If you don't enjoy games around the pool or loud music then consider the much quieter adults only pool. Can still hear the events but it is easier to take. The location of this resort to sand and surf is great! Had a nice array of food options close by as well. Recommended resort!

Wonderful venue for our multi generational vacation. Great facilities and two bedroom unit. Rented through vacation candy. Check in at Marroitt as advertised no problems with reservation number renting the time share through VC.

My wife and I brought my daughter, son in law, and their three children for a week's vacation at the Marriott Aruba Surf Club. We chose Aruba because it is located below the hurricane belt. We chose Marriott's Surf Club because of the clean, and well maintained facilities including four pools including a water slide for the children; frontal beach access; good children programs; fun food for the kids and finally the friendly service from the entire staff.
We are going back to the same place this year!

Marriott Surf Club was an excellent location and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Nice rooms, several pools. Relaxing "Lazy River". Room, hotel, accommodations etc were as advertised. We'd stay there again.

The unit had everything you need. The check-in process was long even when the line wasn't that long. The Surf Club needs updating which I believe they are supposed to be working on. The Marriott with the casino looked like it had recently been updated and was very nice. They also need a better way to reserve chairs and palapa's. By 7 am the chairs will all be tagged by the pools. You need to be online at 5:30 pm to reserve a palapa the day before or at 7am the day of and they go quickly.

I would stay here again.

This is our second stay at this resort. A great location - it's connected to the other two Marriott's and an easy walk to everything in Palm Beach. You do need to rise very early to tag a lounge chair along the lazy river and pool. Our two bedroom villa was perfect - 3rd floor that overlooked the pool area. Plenty of activities for younger kids - and Happy Hour everyday at 2pm.

Great Stay Great Resort
We had a fantastic time, the resort is wonderful and our villa was amazing. Spacious and very clean. Has everything you need. We started with a quick provisioning run and had all we needed. The fact that we could use any of the Marriott properties was a welcome surprise.

Marriott’s Aruba Surf Club
Our stay at the Marriott’s Aruba Surf Club was amazing. The description of the property and the room was extremely accurate and we enjoyed the many amenities that this hotel offers. There is a fitness center, lazy river, outdoor pools, swim up bar, restaurants, and the beautiful beach. The short walk into town is another plus. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

10 OUT OF 10
This was our first trip to Aruba and from all of our research the Marriott Surf Club was what fit the bill. Upon arrival and during our stay everything was perfect. While Aruba offers perfect weather, the friendliness of the employees at the resort, the amenities on the resort, the high quality villas, the close proximity of the beach, dining and of course the lazy river all helped create a 10 out of 10 experience.

Loved everything about this vacation starting with planning with vacation candy! Aruba is most definitely one happy island. The Marriott was wonderful.....clean, convenient and beautiful. Would highly recommend staying there!

Clean, Spacious, Beautiful, Crowded & Pricey
We are a family of five and really loved having the two bedroom suite with two bathrooms, washer/dryer, and full kitchen. The room was clean and met all our needs. Halfway through your stay you receive a “tidy service “, I would prefer it more often but it works out ok. You will have to wash your own towels until then. The food is good but pricey, I think kids should eat free. $5 for a sprite at the pool bar is ridiculous. As well as you have to pay for most kids activities.... be prepared to be nickeled and dimed.
The pool and beach are fabulous! However you need to “work” to get chairs. Read up on reserving pool chairs and beach huts before you arrive, so you are prepared. There are almost a thousand units at the surf club and not enough chairs and it shows.

Great Family Resort!
The Marriott Aruba Surf Club is a great family resort for families! We were a family of grandparents, children and grandchildren, and we couldn't have chosen a better place to enjoy ourselves. We had a 2 bedroom room that accommodated 8 of us with a Garden View. It was a short walk to the beach, pool, restaurant and all other amenities. We are planning on vacationing here again!

Fantastic Property - Highly recommend
The Surf Club exceeded our expectations! Our room was great.
Everyone there is friendly and helpful. There are daily activities at the pool (bingo, karaoke, trivia). The lazy river is sometimes crowded but always fun. The Serenity pool is a good place to chill. The iguanas like it too : ) We never had a problem getting chairs at the pool or the beach. Lot of options for dining on site. Walking distance (and safe) from a business district with shops, restaurants, clubs and a piano bar. Make sure you visit Moomba (tiki bar next door) for dining and/or dancing!

This is our “Happy Place” forever !
Not our first time at the Surf Club and will not be our last either. It was the first time using Vacation Candy and if I can’t get my brother’s timeshare there, I will use Vacation Candy again.
The Surf Club is the perfect family getaway and allll the personnel are just wonderful! They are so accommodating, friendly, helpful and happy!
I should stop recommending this “slice of Heaven” and keep it for ourselves but everyone would love this “One Happy Island” and the Surf Club is the BEST!!!
It is within walking distance to so much, we only rented a car for 2 days to go to Baby Beach and some other island landmarks & to do grocery shopping.

Rooms are clean and spacious and include pull out couches so larger families can fit. Love the suite style living with kitchens, laundry and outdoor grills, which cuts down on meals costs. That said Aruba’s fantastic restaurants can’t be missed. While getting palapas is a process, if you get up early and don’t mind being back from the beach it’s nice to get an assisgned spot. The Surf club seems to have added more covered lounge chairs as a nice option (along with the palm trees) to get some shade. Great nightclubs and casinos very nearby for the young adult set. Lots of families & amenities good for young families. VacationCandy made the reservation process a breeze and found us a great rate. Would use them again for a future trip.

The resort and the description of the condo was exactly as stated in the listing. My family and I have traveled to Aruba the past 3 years and we would plan another vacation at the Marriott Surf Club again. Vacation Candy was very prompt with responses and would use them again also. Thank you for a spectacular week!!

Marriot Surf Club at Christmas
We had a wonderful time at the Marriot Surf Club. The accommodations were wonderful, clean and well run! Although we had a hiccup in the beginning with our reservation, vacation candy worked with other owners to help us secure a suite for our family. We would recommend your site to others as we were recommended! Thanks for sharing your expertise!

Great Vacation
Love the resort, it was very spacious and more than enough room for my girls trip of 5. The resort was very clean and the service at the resort was exceptional. My only compliant would be that we stayed a week and room service only came once and if you call them to come outside of the scheduled day there is a charge. This was my first timeshare and first time using home away and it was an awesome experience. I will be using this service again and recommending Vacation Candy.

Aruba Surf
Everything was as it was described on the Vacation Candy website. When booking the reservation, all inquiries were responded to with a quick response from the company. We even loved the attention to detail with the "care package" we received right before our trip. It added a bit of excitement to our anticipation of the upcoming trip. It really is the small things that show a company cares! Room was as described. Clean and if you have the full kitchen, they provide laundry detergent and dish soap. As far as the resort, we felt is was the best one for our family. There is a strip of Marriott properties right next to each other and this one had it all and our friends came to visit us because of the "ambiance". Also our pool was open to 10. Some of the other resorts close earlier. The lazy river was wonderful as well as the main pool where every day at 1 they play bingo. $5 for 3 bingo cards. Our last day the prize was $800! Kids loved it! The water by the beach was calm and everyone seemed to have floats. You can purchase the tubes in hotel shop and fill up with air at the towel station for free. I would only buy one tube as people leave tubes at the end of the hallways as they leave the property, We were a family of 6 and only needed to buy one! This is a great location. You can walk to town at night for dinner and shopping. Smoky Joe's was a favorite within walking distance. Pinchot's also had great food, but it is a cab ride. That is no big deal though because you just need to go out front of the hotel and a cab will be there waiting. If you are adventurous, rent a UTV and explore the island on your own. They will deliver to the hotel and pick up at the end of the day. We even took it to the grocery store! They give you a map and it really is a spectacular island to explore, but keep in mind it is off-roading! Make sure you book any activities when you arrive for the week downstairs in the main building. Another tip: rent the beach papulas that are on property in front of resort on the first day you arrive for whatever days you want to have beach chairs and shade. The rental hut is on the beach between Surf and Ocean Club. Its about $10-$20 depending on how close they are to the beach, but they do fill up. If you want to sit at the pool, they give chair tags to "hold" you spot. You will need to be up by 6:30 to tag the chairs if you want any. It wasn't a problem for us as I was always awake, would tag a couple of chairs and go grab coffee on the beach! Everyone doesn't need a chair. Most of the time you will see empty chairs because half of the time you are in the water. BRING SUNSCREEN! Pack a suitcase with your own sunscreen. Yes, you can get it there, but you need to apply every 2 hours minimum and the sunscreen is $15-$25 a bottle there! Trust me, my son was burnt on day one and he had to wear long sleeves the rest of the trip. I even packed what i thought was a good amount, but we burned through that quickly. We had a great time at the resort and a wonderful experience with Vacation Candy!!!!!

Great Family Vacation
Our family of 10 stayed in 2 two-bedroom ocean view villas at the Surf Club. The units were exactly as we expected from Marriott - clean, spacious and provided everything we need for a one-week stay. Everyone on staff is friendly and helpful as are all of the other guests. Everyone talks to you in the elevators, pools, walking around and many guests have been coming to Aruba for years so have lots of helpful suggestions (this was our first time). We always felt very safe and comfortable both on the property and off. The pool and beach area can get very crowded and you need to know the chair or palapa reservation system to get a chair. Usually, a few of us got up early and went down to the pool to save seats. The beach is a little tricker and there are certain times where you can go and reserve a palapa and chairs so just inquire about that when you check in. The beaches are beautiful and there are LOTS of restaurants walking distance from the hotel. Housecleaning was only once during the week but it worked out fine. We would recommend this property and renting through VacationCandy - they were awesome to work with.
