Welcome to Salt Life Retreat,

You will have a relaxing getaway in our spacious 3 bedroom , 3 full bathroom waterfront home conveniently located at 360 Angler Bay Dr. in Hackberry, LA. The property is fully furnished and comfortably sleeps 6. The open floor plan boasts brand new living room furniture, stainless steel appliances ( including a dishwasher ) , quartz countertops, a large dining table and an open kitchen to cook your favorite meals. Utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker, blender and all other necessary kitchen items are provided for your convenience. Linens also are provided as well as a washer/dryer in separate room of the home. The master bedroom has a queen bed, on suite bathroom, large closet and a flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed, large closet and a flat screen TV. The third bedroom has a queen bed, large closet and a flat screen TV. Our absolute favorite area of the the property is the large screened-in porch upstairs over looking the canal and Joe's Cove. We also have a large screened-in fishing cleaning area and another large screened-in area at the ground level for your fish fry or crawfish boil. You can park your boat against the bulkhead in the private canal or on the electric boat lift in the covered boathouse. The private canal provides easy access to Joe's Cove and the Ship Channel. The home also has a fenced-in yard, large concrete driveway to park multiple vehicles, boats and has a basketball goal ! Hackberry Fish Camp and Marina is just a short boat ride away for fuel and live bait. Our property is sure to provide great memories for your next fishing trip , couples retreat or family weekend getaway! Fishing guide referrals are available upon request. Previous reviews were spot-on! This camp was clean and well-appointed. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. Our dog enjoyed playing in the fenced-in back yard and we enjoyed the outdoor living spaces. The boat shed and boat-lift were added bonuses!

Very nice and relaxing place with great water accessibility. Browns market and dollar store close by. We were able to fish everyday of our stay. Caught over 300 fish, mind you these were not all fish to keep, but a verity of different species. We're able to catch a few bull reds as well. And also caught enough crab for a good boil. Looking forward to our next time here at this great place!

Beautiful house and spacious, the ice maker and water didn’t work, but that was ok for us…we brought our own water and ice. The outside grounds were beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

The Lake house was very clean, neat and location was wonderful. The only one thing that needs to be seen about is the bathroom between the 2 bedrooms is some of the lights were burnt or didn’t work which is ok I thought the owner should know

Awesome camp. Liked the fenced in large back yard. Me and family had quality fellowship with plenty of room on location. Didn’t catch much fish due to hot weather, rough sea, and dealing with unusual low tides. As the old saying goes it’s not about catching fish it’s about spending time with family and fishing. Very enjoyable vacation. Will go back there soon. No complaints.

We loved this house. Only stayed 2 nights. Favorite part was the screened in patio. Everything was great. Only suggestion is to clean refrigerator out after guests leave. When we got there, several open soda/beer cans in fridge and freezer.

We thank Mr. Joe K. For a exceptional stay. I especially am grateful for the allowance of the family pet! The place was clean. We had great access to great fishing spots quickly. Live shrimp and ice were near by. I would recommend this location to everyone I know! Love the screen porch and fenced yard - we did not have to worry about our pet roaming. Mr. Joe is the best! The property was exactly as described. The screened porch is a wonderful hang out area. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were great as well. TVs in living room and all bedrooms. Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and utensils plus a good selection of essentials like spices etc. The owner, Joe, is a really nice guy and was very responsive on the one issue we had which was not his fault at all (cable/wifi outage in the neighborhood that only lasted a short while). However he did call back to ensure everything was working to our satisfaction. The location of the property is great if your looking for a quiet place to getaway but there are stores and seafood shops nearby. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Joe’s place was brilliant, great value for money and great location, Clean and welcoming, beds were comfy and the shower was great , added bonuses with coffee and somewhere to cool the wine. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay on the water and very close to salt water fishing.

Beautiful well maintained home in nice quiet neighborhood. Easy communication with host. Kitchen well equipped. It was a plus not having to bring our own linens and towels. Enjoyed the spacious fenced yard. It gave our dog a safe place to run and play. Screened room below house and screened back porch so options to be outside even when bugs were bad.
