About this apartment rental
This is a free standing two story casita in a residential neighborhood sharing the property and pool with owner. The bedroom is upstairs, with the kitchen, living area, and bathroom downstairs. The casita has a fully equipped kitchen. There is an on site driveway for parking with a locked gate.
We are an easy walk to the malecón, marina, plazas, shops, restaurants and the oldest mission in the Californias.
There are 2 resident cats, and one is very, very friendly, and likes to interact with guests, so probably not a good fit if you are allergic or just don’t like cats.
The pool is not heated, so it’s likely to be too cold in the winter to use. Some guests have used it, but only people from very cold climates!

We loved that everything was within walking distance. Elizabeth had our temporary home perfectly stocked with everything needed for our stay, including great books on the history of Loreto.
Safe and secured location. Bedroom was large with amble closet space and comfy bed. We loved, and welcomed our daily visitor, Chachi, Elizabeth’s male cat.
Thank you Elizabeth for all your knowledge and advice and making this the most memorable, relaxing trip ever.
We will definitely be seeing you again soon!

Elizabeth was welcoming, respectful and responsive . The property was lovely and all the amenities we were looking for were there or easily accessible.

Great host

Beautiful 2-storey suite facing a pool overhung with bougainvillea. Lovely wide balcony and a wall of windows off the spacious bedroom. Just a few blocks from town square where there is a choice of good restaurants. About 5-6 blocks to malecon. Host Elizabeth was welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend booking Oscar for a trip to San Javier mission. He is a careful driver and has encyclopaedic knowledge of local history.

I loved my stay here. The property is beautiful, inside and out and very well maintained. The French doors upstairs and downstairs and incredible for taking in the views. As mentioned, the location of this Casita is in centro Loreto - the sounds of chickens and dogs should be expected (earplugs provided if needed) however it didn’t bother me at all! The cats were the cherry on top, greeting me every morning and Elizabeth was so helpful with any and all questions. Definitely recommend for a single or couple who wants the privacy of their own place at a competitive rate.

The listing is accurate with the location close to many local "eats", grocery stores and the beach/marina. We used the kitchen to make breakfast before heading out. The town is easy to navigate and everything is within walking distance. The local chickens and dogs can be a bit noisy, however Elizabeth does provide ear plugs which helped significantly. Place was very secure and Elizabeth is a helpful, kind and honest host. Would stay again...Thank you Elizabeth and I enjoyed your cats!

My wife and I stayed in Elizabeth's casita for 6 weeks in December and January. We had a wonderful time. Elizabeth is a great host. She is kind, generous and knowledgeable. Her casita was comfortable and well equipped for our stay. It is centrally located with easy access to grocery stores, restaurants and both the Malecon and the Andador. Daily visits from Chicharron and Dulce were a welcome bonus!

My husband and I booked this casita for a week of rest and fun, couldn't have asked for more. Lovely property with a pool and it was easy to walk to the town center. Elizabeth was a gracious hostess as was her handsome orange cat, Chicarron! Thank you.

Tunnel of Love
Elizabeth has a wonderful casita available for couples or a single. It's a wonderful location, convenient to downtown Loreto and the Malecon. It is safe & secure, but in a family neighborhood so the day starts early (dogs and roosters!). Not a bad deal if you're up early to fish or go see the blue whales! Elizabeth knows a ton about the Baja and Loreto itself, and is gracious about sharing her knowledge. The casita also has a number of books about the Baja that are really quite informative, I wish we'd had use of these at the start of our trip instead of towards the end! She also shares her cats - who were gentle, charming, and loved attention! The only critique we had was that the seating was a bit hard - but that's a nit as we were out & about most of the time. We'd recommend the casita to anyone and hope to return again for more! (PS: "Tunnel of Love" refers to the bougainvillea overhanging the pool - a wonderful little journey to or from the casita.) Gracias Elizabeth!

Perfection
Best location in Loreto. Few blocks from the Plazas, Marina, beach, grocery markets. Has full kitchen and we cooked some simple meals. Microwave for reheating all the leftovers from great restaurants. Easy to rent a car for a day or two for exploring, but we walked everywhere in town the rest of the time. Must respect owner-hosts privacy as you share outdoor space. Elizabeth was helpful and engaging. On top of all this the space is beautiful, modern, clean and awesome decor. AND comfortable bed.

A lovely get-away
This casita is very roomy, private and secure. My husband and I stayed here for more than two weeks and grew quite fond of our home away from home. We did not have a vehicle during our second week, but, because the casita is so centrally located, we had no problem walking everywhere. We went on a blue whale watching tour and were able to catch the tour shuttle to Puerto Escondido marina right from the Plaza. We didn't use the swimming pool, but I'm sure it would be refreshing in warmer weather. There are no US hotel or restaurant chains in Loreto, nor big box stores. Living simply in this attractive casita in Loreto revives the spirit.

Lovely Space!
Wonderfully friendly and generous hostess. Super walkable location with lots of food and drinks near by. Space was very comfortable. Watching the sunrise each morning through the French doors was magical. The pool was a bonus.

Oasis in Centro Loreto
What a delight to stay here. Elizabeth is a wonderful host. This casita is located in a Mexican neighborhood so be prepared for the comings and goings of Loretaño life. we loved being able to view sunrises from the upper deck, and using the pools which is steps away from the casita. All great restaurants and malecon 5 minutes away by walking. We will return!
