Perfect vacation spot for our family! House was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Beach area and docks were so nice to have. Sunsets on the lake were amazing. We hope to come again!

We live near the mountains outside of Asheville, NC. A couple times a year, we head to a lake for a weekend of rest and relaxation. This gem of a property on Lake Greenwood was just the ticket. Set on a quiet cove, it was the perfect spot to chill out, relax, and enjoy the water. Our pup loved lots of swimming time.
The property was clean (inside and out) with wonderful lake frontage. A lovely back porch with ceiling fans, it was hot, made for some great cocktail hours each evening. We enjoyed the beach area by the water. Having the umbrella stand was a great bonus, we brought a beach umbrella but there was one there as well.
The property was nicely equipped with everything you need for a fabulous getaway. Be mindful that the grill and outdoor seating area is not covered. We grilled out each night and luckily, we didn’t have rain while we were grilling.
Some small things I would improve.
1.Please consider adding some long benches (or similar) in the master bedroom under the TV to hold suitcases.
2.The steps from the porch to the lawn are VERY slippery, please consider adding some treading – like the treads on the stairs going into the water.
3.Covering the grill and outdoor seating area would be ideal!
All and all, this was one of our favorite lake properties we’ve ever stayed at. We are looking forward to visiting again in the future.

The owners were accommodating and friendly, the house was perfect for our group size, house was well stocked with toilet paper and dishwashing tablets. We are already planning a future stay 😊.

We enjoyed this cozy rental. Everything in this home is in perfect condition! The furniture is nice and new..the home is so clean..every inch!
Appliances are new..great gas stove..large nice refrigerator freezer..large washer and dryer...all new! And of course a new dishwasher!
The beds are so comfortable..good pillows..and linens!
4 large TVs ..one in each bedroom and one in the living area!
We loved the deck! We Love the trex decking..not hot and dont have to worry about wood splinters.
We all loved the week we stayed at the rental!
We will most certainly go back!
Randall the host does a terrific job and answers any messages almost instant!
The cleaning crew does a great job...as this was so clean!

Enjoyed spending our 38th New Year together with old friends on the lake! Beautiful and accommodating home. Gorgeous views of lake. Very Quiet, considering all the homes nearby.
Recommend putting a grab bar in shower upstairs, and more choices on TV. Had to watch championship college football games on a laptop.

The property was infested with ants in the kitchen, living room and one bedroom where my grandson was staying. We communicated with the owner and he responded by sending out an exterminator and leaving spray for us to use. Even after the exterminator and we sprayed, there were ant in the kitchen, living areas and one bedroom. The kitchen and eating areas, living room and one bedroom could not be used. I contacted owner and requested a refund of some of our money. I was told to text his sister and she would send a check. I have been told the check was sent a week ago, but I have not received anything yet. ( we checked out 18 days ago) Both shower doors leaked onto the floor, washing machine leaked. Bathrooms were not very clean.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The kitchen was well stocked, towels were plentiful and the location was amazing. Super quiet and fun for our family lake trip.

Most of our time was spent in and on the water. Docks on property made it easy, as well as steps into the water. Pictures don’t completely capture the size of the decks, yard and waterfront. Very large, private and tons of options for seating.
Clean, new house has three very comfortable bedrooms. Kitchen is well equipped. Linens and towels were great. Well appointed and perfect for our family. Already talking about next year!

Perfect for young kids
We enjoyed our extended weekend stay. the property is set back in a cove with a beach area perfect for the kids to play and swim. The house was new and clean, just as described. Definitely recommend.

We had a blast at this Lake House!
We had a great time at this lake house. It looks just like in the pictures and had everything we needed! The communication was very good and very prompt any time we had a question. It was very peaceful on this part of the lake with very little boat traffic. We were able to swim, kayak and relax! Perfect little get-away!!

Family vacation

Wow! This was our first trip to Lake Greenwood and it was a fantastic week! The house was beautiful!
Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful lake home. Owners were super helpful and friendly. Mr. Smith greeted us, answered all of our questions, provided great information about the lake, and even guided us to the closest boat ramp to unload our boat. House was super clean and had lots of outdoor space for all of to enjoy. We can’t wait to book again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was great and the house was clean and a perfect size for 3 couples. The Pac Man game was also a hit! The cove was a great location to fish and float. Would stay again!

Wonderful lakeside home
Our family was visiting a friend's farm nearby for a little informal horse camp for our kids and general gathering with good folks. We were so happy to have this fabulous home to call ours for a few days. The house is super clean, efficient and comfortable in a great setting in the little lake community. All the appliances work like new, all the doors and windows seal really well and Randall was very kind and helpful. We even got to see some Canada Geese hatch a nest of goslings on a foggy Easter Sunday. Each day thereafter the two parents and their five babies swam across the little inlet from their refuge to nibble on the lawn by the house. It was a real treat. Thanks again!!

Great Experience
We were going to The Masters and wanted a place to stay that would also allow us to enjoy the water, nature and relax.. This had it all, spent a day traveling around the area and into North Ga to Tocoa falls, Watson covered bridge ,Ga Guidestones, and Ninety-six National Park. Spent a day on the lake with a Pontoon rental from Skippers and then a couple days in Augusta. All while staying in a very clean, comfortable, modern home that was in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go again ourselves

Thanksgiving at Lake Greenwood
The Smith family provided an awesome experience on the lake for Thanksgiving week. The house was in top-notch condition and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Are used to stay in a log cabin on the lake and it has recently transitioned to not being rented out anymore. And I was looking for a place to stay and stumbled on this. I would highly recommend it to everyone just not Thanksgiving week that’s my week!

Nice, new lake house in nice area
We had a great time. The house is new and clean. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Boat ramp is only .4 miles away. I was a little disappointed that the covered dock was unavailable due to the boat lift being out of order and strapped across the dock. I tied my boat to the other dock, which was fine, but not what I was expecting.

Quick Getaway!
We enjoyed our quick weekend getaway! The lake views are great, house is well maintained and stocked , my kids fished from the bank and docks. We traveled to the small nearby towns-Historic Greenwood, Abbeville, Clinton, and Ninety Six. Great National and State Parks within short distance. Greenwood Lake was great!!
