About this apartment rental
**Please note that there is a $40 + tax pet fee, per pet, per stay. There will be an additional $50 fine if pets were brought to the property without notifying us. Due to a severe allergy one of our staff has, unfortunately we are unable to host cats. This room is dog friendly, not cat friendly. **
My husband and I bought the Mountain Peaks Motel Jan 2021. Since we purchased the property, we did a full renovation for all the rooms. We are conveniently located at the heart of Leadville. Walking
You will have the entire room to your self. This includes 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. The room also includes a TV with direct TV services, a small dining/working table. Towels and bathroom essentials are provided. We have a private parking lot where guests can park, we do our best to plow the parking lot, but when it snows, inevitably it will become slippery, please be careful walking in the parking lot. No smoking is allowed on the property inside or outside. If you need to smoke, feel free to go to the sidewalk next to the property.
You have access to your room and the parking lot. We are in the process of building more common areas to provide a even better experience, stay tuned!
We love chatting with our guests and do the best we can to ensure the guest have a great experience! But we also want to respect if you want your personal space. Just don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything or have any questions!
We are right on the main street of Leadville. Two Mile Hi brewery is right across the street. There is also a gas station across the street providing basic services. We love High Mountain Pies, they have amazing pizza and wings, Tennessee Pass Café has one of the best brussels sprouts in town, they also have some delicious burgers/sandwich. If you are a meat eater, check out Qincys, their bacon wrapped fillet mignon is on point....they also serve prime ribs on weekends. All these restaurants are less than 5 minutes walk away.
If you want to check out down town Leadville, it's a short 5-10 minutes walk. We are also close to a bunch of trail heads and ski resorts. We'd recommend a car if you want to enjoy the 100 miles + trail system in Leadville or go shred at the skiing resorts.

What a pleasant surprise when we opened the door to our room. It was so nicely decorated, the refrigerator was stocked with soda and water and the sound of birds in the background topped it off. Also, the gift bag was so thoughtful and we were able to use everything in it on our trip. It was located right on the main street of town, so we were able to walk everywhere. We will absolutely stay with Ting and Pauline again in the future.

A perfect location for skiers or winter sports enthusiasts. The rooms are simple and complete. Historic Leadville is a short walk, complete with dining and cool shops.

We really enjoyed our cozy stay at Ting’s unique motel conversion! Don’t let the motel-like exterior fool you. Ting has completely renovated the interiors to include surprise touches and comfortable furnishings. The room was impeccably clean and stocked with amenities that rival larger hotel units. The location proved to be perfect alternative for our trip to Copper Mountain.

Bed very comfortable.

We were very happy with our stay at Mountain Peaks Motel and would highly recommend it, especially for the price. It was so cute with a retro blue refrigerator and very pleasant decor. The bed was very comfortable. We really appreciated the nice little gift bag with sunscreen etc. It was just a short walk to the shops and restaurants in the historic district. All in all we had a great stay.

just down the street from all the shops, but also just far enough away to be quiet. Well, quiet enough. It is close to the road, so the provided ear plugs are great. We stayed here for the silver rush 50 run. walking distance from the start. it has everything you need.

Cute Little Motel
The room I had at this cute little motel was amazing! The sound machine in the room was really helpful for a restful night of sleep. The goodie bag they left for me was very thoughtful. This was also a great location, on the Main Street of downtown Leadville. I’ll be staying here again in the future!

I was there on a hiking trip and it was perfect for me.

You get what you pay for. Although the host(s) leaves a few thoughtful items it doesnt cover up the very low ceiling, extremely thin-walled, very tiny bathroom motel room feel. Floor slants badly going into bathroom and just an odd space overall. Motel is 10 feet from major roadway so traffic is right out your door. Road doesnt wiiet down til after 11pm. Won't be back.

The inside of the room was quaint and there were lots of little details that felt welcoming like a frig with drinks and little packet with goodies

The details in this place were amazing! They had a sound machine, lavender essential oils, some goodies in the fridge already - it was great! And the design of the place made it look cozy and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely room in a great location
Safe, quiet, clean, and adorable. The room is well taken care of. Ting was great at communicating info from the start. We appreciate that. This location will start renting 4-wheelers soon, so make your reservations now!
One point that I should make to travelers who are large around the middle, as I am, is that the configuration of the bathroom makes it a tight fit around the commode. I really had to squeeze between the sink and the wall to reach the toilet. Just an FYI.

Sooo nice! They let me check in early and even put some drinks and ice cream in the fridge for me. Loved it!
