About this house rental
Enjoy a riverfront stay on the beautiful Rogue River! Gorgeous views and conveniently located just 1 mile from I-5 by the City of Rogue River. Day trip to the Redwoods or Crater Lake easily! Shakespeare Festival in Ashland is nearby and Hellgate Jetboat Excursion in Grants Pass only 10 miles away. Newly remodeled, large kitchen with island, gas range and double oven. Kitchen, dining room, private outdoor deck and patio seating all overlooking the river! Enjoy your own private river access where you can fish from the shore or raft/
swim, there's also a boat launch less than 1 mi away at Coyote Evans Park, where you will also find a greenway for miles of biking/walking along the river. This home has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with the majority of the rooms directly overlooking the beautiful Rogue River. 3 bedrooms (king, queen and full) are located upstairs as well as a full bath with tub/shower. 2 bedrooms (futon and full/twin bunk) and a full bathroom are located on the main floor. This is a large home with an adjoining 2 bd guest unit rented separately. No shared spaces. Large yard with patio, firepit, BBQ and large deck for entertaining. Private river access (path to river is short but moderately steep). Full laundry and plenty of parking. Come enjoy all that Southern Oregon has to offer!

The house was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. Everything you would need was there. Most of the rooms have a river view. All of the rooms were decorated in a comfortable and pretty style. The outside areas are inviting with plenty of shade. It is easy to get on the freeway to nearby and father destinations. I would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay with two families. Lots of space and a well stocked property. The highway is close, but you cannot hear from inside. Our kids loved the courtyard and all the fruit growing nearby.

We traveled North for a wedding this summer and this house was perfect for traveling with a toddler. It had just about everything we needed plus some.
I was a bit nervous staying in a house so close to the river and a potentially busy hwy with our 18 month old, but the house was better than I expected. He can't escape his pack n play, but even if he had, there were 2 doors with locks just outside his room before he could even get to the kitchen. Plus, the entry doors and fence/gates around the property were very secure. The extra doors helped keep the kid's room soundproof as well if the adults wanted to stay up later. He loved the garden and waving at the people floating or boating down the river (the adults did too). The restaurants and coffee shop nearby were great and also very kid friendly. The only thing I wish I had brought was a travel high chair to have at the house.
My mom, who is very sensitive to noise at night, had no issue sleeping despite being so close to the roads and river.

Our small family really enjoyed this home right on the Rogue River. The first few days the area suffered a heat wave (same at home) but the house was equipped well with a/c and fans. The owners were very friendly and easy to communicate with and came over quickly to make a small repair on a toilet handle we had broken. The river was clean and cool and just beautiful to look at. (Make sure to wear life jackets as the river can move swiftly.)
Beds were very comfortable. Keeping the windows closed keeps out nearby traffic noise and ear plugs are provided if needed. The area is safe and everywhere we went the people were very friendly.
We highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

We absolutely LOVED staying here for our Oregon vacation! Away from the busy town but still close enough. We spent most of our time on the awesome deck and in the beautiful courtyard where we could watch the river nd all the rafters and boaters. Beds were comfortable and the house was super clean and well-maintained. We’ll DEFINITELY stay here again! Our hosts were terrific about responding to messages and they let us check in early!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riverfront on the Rogue. The property was exceptionally clean and provided a cozy atmosphere for our group of 7. The accommodations were spacious enough to comfortably accommodate everyone, and the surroundings were serene and beautiful. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind during our family reunion. The amenities and attention to cleanliness made our stay truly enjoyable. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in Southern Oregon.

We loved this house the minute we stepped onto the property.
Darling garden area and deck over the Rogue River. The house was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen for preparing our meals overlooking the river. Yes there is road noise from I-5, but you can easily tune it out when your outside and no noise inside.

Clean, open floor plan with updated remodeling. Nice bathrooms and bedrooms. Plenty of parking, but it’s right off the Hwy. once inside the house, you don’t hear the traffic and can enjoy the river sounds from the back door. Cute place and pleasant stay.

We stayed here with our family and friends for two nights and had a great time. The house is very clean and right on the Rogue River with a nice deck overlooking, which makes for nice views. The 5 freeway is across the River but we didn’t find the noise disruptive. The kitchen was well stocked and the downstairs layout is nice and open. We came during a heat wave and the AC doesn’t work well upstairs, but there are good fans in the bedrooms. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We booked this property because of the location...on the river and close to the Zip, Dip and Sip site! The temperature outside was in the triple digits and it remained very comfortable inside! This property was everything we wanted and more!!! It was PERFECT!

A Wonderful Hub
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! The house has a wonderful layout for a large family or sharing with friends. We met up with family for a weekend of fun and used the house as our gathering hub. Everything was perfect. The owners have added many sweet personal touches that made the stay that much more enjoyable. We had many memories made during our mini-vacation and the home was a huge addition to our wonderful weekend.

Beautifully prepared vacation home.
Sara and David have done a marvelous job of updating this home as a vacation property. The centerpiece is the gourmet kitchen. It is huge, with a central island, a bar, and more cupboards than one could possibly use. The appliances are all top notch, and they have thought of everything a vacationer could desire. The home has four bedrooms, so lots of room for everyone. As shown, it is right on the river, and a 3 minute drive to town. Everything was immaculately clean.
The only downside that I did not seen mentioned anywhere else is the outdoor noise. The I-5 is right across the river, and the property is on old highway 99. The latter quiets down in the evening; unfortunately, the freeway never does. This does not detract from the enjoyment of the indoor areas.
Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would return another time.

Rogue river house
You can see the rogue river bridge from the property. Listed as gold hill but it’s more rogue river which was great for me because I grew up in wimer. Beautiful house great location especially if you want to float the river. 5 starts

Great Spot
Great location and very enjoyable stay. Only negative things to say are listed under own property and it's more of a town home, the shower head is at about 5'8" so for a 6' man a bit uncomfortable. Small complaints that don't take much away from how amazing this place is.

Family Reunion
This property is perched above the scenic Rogue River with a comfortable deck and lovely kitchen.
Our group of 6 adults enjoyed a 3 night stay and hosted dinners with local family members, the kitchen is large and comfortable for a group with nice appliances and cookware. Bedrooms are well appointed and cozy. The house is walking or biking distance to Rogue River and our young adults enjoyed the bikes in the garage for a spin around town. The house was clean with thoughtful touches (Febreze in the bathrooms, a set of blankets by the fireplace for use on the deck or for curling up to watch a movie).
We loved morning coffee on the deck and saw a pair of juvenile osprey swooping along the river. It’s a calm, comfortable place to stay and we will be back!!
