Walls of windows and sliding glass doors let in beautiful, abundant natural light and bring the ocean right inside. The bright kitchen features glossy granite countertops, a breakfast bar, tile floors, a dishwasher, a glass-top range, a refrigerator, and loads of cabinet space, perfect for making a big family meal or throwing your snacks in the cooler and heading to the beach. The dining table seats eight with bar seats for two more.
The open floor plan and the spacious bedrooms offer both privacy and space to gather. The extra-large primary suite offers more beautiful beach views, a king bed, private balcony access, a large walk-in closet, and a luxurious en suite bathroom. Granite and tile accent this room with an extra-deep, jetted, jacuzzi-style bathtub, a separate shower, double vanities, and a private water closet. Your younger beach lovers will enjoy the bunk room, offering a twin-over-full bunk bed with a full trundle and a cable TV. The third bedroom features a queen bed and a cable TV as well.
Take the elevator, head downstairs, and walk right out to the beach, which is nothing short of breathtaking. On your way back in, you can use one of the conveniently located outdoor showers on the oceanside of the building or prepare one of the charcoal grilling stations in the common grounds. After dinner, let the kids continue to splash off that energy in the sparkling, in-ground pool with a poolside cabana bar and plenty of lounge chairs for everyone.
The Sandbridge Dunes Condominiums are conveniently located on the Sandbridge Island oceanfront, just across from the Sandbridge Market and the Sandbridge Island Restaurant and next door to Zero's Subs and Ben & Jerry's. One of only two lifeguarded beaches in the area is within a two-minute walk.
Things to Know
The community pool is open annually from mid-May to mid-September for guest use. Pool dates are weather permitting and at the Condo Association's discretion.
Charcoal grilling stations and picnic tables are located on the west side of the building
No smoking, no pets, no events, no parties.

Electric vehicles are not permitted to park in the Sandbridge Dunes garage.
This includes lithium-Ion Hybrids and Lithium-ion bikes. Electric bikes and any Segway toys are not permitted in the units. They are fire hazards. Vehicles must be parked outside and away from the building. You will need to park outside either in the North or West lot, Marlin Drive, or in the public lot South of the community.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) Great place, nice size too! Right across the street from the beach. Definitely a noisy intersection right out side, but we brought a white noise machine and didn’t hear anything when we slept. Overall nice place, lots of space and great location.

We had a great time staying at The Wave! The space was much larger in person than the pictures made it appear. The view from the balcony was also much nicer than we expected. We could easily see waves breaking on the sand and dolphins swimming up and down the beach. The proximity to the beach (with a paved path) and also to the corner market was very nice to have. Despite being late September the pool was warm and we were able to swim. It was also always clean without leaving us smelling like strong chlorine or getting the inevitable burning eyes which is impressive. The space is on the side of the building along the main road but at least for us noise wasn't an issue -- however during peak season in July with more traffic I can see where it might. The only issues we encountered were that the door to the balcony from the main living area was unable to be locked - mechanism seemed broken. Also, and this is just a personal preference, but the bedrooms could benefit from some blackout curtains. The master bedroom has lights from the stores/traffic lights at night, plus direct sun first thing in the morning, and the other two bedrooms have a lot of light flooding in all night from the interior lights of the building. Also, the numbered parking space inside the garage was a tight squeeze so we opted to park outside in the second unnumbered space available to us. This isn't a problem of the building, we were just in a large truck - only mentioning as a heads up for anyone who may also be coming in a larger vehicle. We had a really great time at Sandbridge (as always) and we would absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely loved The Wave! We will for sure rent this condo again next year. I can’t think of anything I’d improve on. I would like to see the condo a little cleaner, such as the sofa bed was dirty. Other than that, everything was GREAT!

If you do not want to be in the middle of the Boardwalk, this is a great place to stay. The beach is beautiful as is the pool. The condo is big and very clean. Whiskey Kitchen is a yummy restaurant nearby!

The location is fantastic--right on the beach and at the very end of Sandbridge Road (the road leading to Sandbridge Beach). The unit is on the Sandbridge Road side, so you do get street noise--especially in the mornings.
We did have a few things with which we had a problem--the door to the balcony would not lock, the water temp in the shower was way too hot (even when you turned it as cold as you could). I called and Vacasa, the management company, sent someone out to fix the problems.
We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I love Sandbridge and love staying at the Dunes, but this unit was filthy. We are not very picky people, but the lack of cleaning of this unit was an issue throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we noticed dirt and crumbs all over the floor and carpet. We have small children so the first thing we had to do was vacuum and sweep the floors. Over the next 24 hours we found that the shower was moldy, there was a half eaten slice of pizza wedged between the refrigerator and the wall, the refrigerator was very dirty and needed cleaned out, and when we left we noticed that the sheets underneath the top sheet and comforter had stains all over them (looked like urine stains). The unit overall just needed a deep clean. Certain dishes were also visibly dirty (and not just a little bit). It looked like it maybe had been swept, vacuumed, and sheets changed in between visits all summer, without anyone actually going in to clean it. This wasn’t just dirty from the prior tenant, but I don’t think this unit has been fully cleaned in quite a while. We didn’t let it ruin our vacation and we had a great stay, but staying up until 1 AM on our first night there to clean the unit was not what we had planned, and it certainly not what we had paid for. Overall we were very disappointed with this unit and the lack of cleanliness, but we plan to come back to the Dunes to stay at another unit in the future.

This is a great property. The location was perfect for our family. We had the beach, a pool, and a grocery store across the street. The place was well appointed, perfectly clean and extremely comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I were looking for a last-minute place after the birth of our grandchild in Chesapeake. We were delighted at how nice it was and a very short walk to the beach. We had one issue come up and Hannah from Vacasa was quick to help make it right immediately. We definitely will try to stay here again sometime.

We loved the low density beach environment and the short walk to the beach. It was still a short 25 min drive to the boardwalk and many good restaurants were a short drive. Unit was modern, clean, and all around great experience.

The ONLY issue at check in was we were promised 2 marked parking spots inside the garage and there was only 1. Easily rectified but just double check at check-in. Definitely going back to this beautiful condo.

Spectacular sunrises; lovely, spacious condo
The unit was lovely and just as described, only bigger and more spacious than I imagined. We returned from an outing to find interior temp of 82 and unable to get the a.c. to turn on, called management who came over promptly, she then called maintenance who called a.c. specialist, less than 2 hours later the unit was cool and a.c. functioned properly, all interactions were polite and friendly. Completely enjoyable stay, would reccomend, and repeat, thank you
