About this house rental

*Top Unit Only* I live in the bottom units. Upstairs, greets you with a large front porch with outdoor seating, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room with pull-out couch, kitchen with bar area, dining room with large table, and large back deck with seating. Rooms are spacious and inviting, offering a classic beachy feel but with modern amenities. Kitchen has an air fryer, coffee maker/Keurig. TVs have Roku and are logged into a Netflix account. Home is one block from the beach with canal view, and beach access on both sides of the block. Outdoor shower. Linens and bath towels provided. I know you're there on vacation and have fun, and I want you to have an amazing trip, just be respectful of the property and neighbors. There's only enough parking for 3 cars for you, I park on the right side so you have to keep the long stretch clear.

if I could 10 stars I would. There is nothing not to love about this property. The moment you walk in you just feel like you’re on vacation and it’s absolutely beautiful with every single little thing you could possibly need. Having access to the beach so close and the board walk, McDonald’s and the convenience store only 3 minutes away was a fantastic thing. It has a great area in the back for your dog. Next time I’d love to have my dog with me. It has fun things like disc golf and things you would need for the beach, such as .When I go back to Carolina Beach this will be the only place that I stay i. It feels like being in my own home

We had a great stay at McKay’s. He was a great host and the property was just right. Plenty of space for four adults and all of the amenities you could want. It was a quick and easy walk to the beach and a few restaurants. I’d go back!

We had such an amazing time the house so so clean, it was also so much larger than we anticipated!! Such a great place, and such a close walk to the beach! I definitely recommend staying here with family or friends if you’re looking for a great beach week!!

This was a darling little beach cottage that had everything we needed for our stay! Very short walk to the beach just one block away. The host had great communication with us and there are many extra touches that make for a great stay such as beach chairs, shampoo and body wash, beach towels, air fryer, and many other added amenities. There were 8 of us staying and we had plenty of space for all of us. Would definitely return again soon!

We had a great stay at 3 beaches. Not only is the location spectacular (1 min from beach, 5 from the boardwalk), the host was very accessible and great with questions and responses. Thank you for a great time! Will be back.

Our group had an amazing stay at this property during the last week of June. Our 3 families settled in nicely and had a wonderful stay. We loved being a short walk from the beach. The layout of the property was spacious while also being cozy for us to have a nice time together. The property owners were very communicative the entire trip and leading up to it. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great time at Carolina beach.

We had a wonderful time on our vacation! The house is great! It’s in a great location. The only thing that could make it better would be if it was ocean front, but for being off the ocean you couldn’t ask for more! I was so comfortable at the house that I didn’t want to go home! We had 4 adults 1 teen and 1 child and there was plenty of room! I would definitely recommend this house to anyone!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a great setup for two families sharing the space. One family shared the front room (2 queens) and bathroom, then there’s a door and the second family shared the back two rooms (1 king in each) and bathroom. The host sent all the information we needed ahead of time and responded quickly to messages. The beach is 1.5 blocks away, an easy trek especially with a beach wagon. And the closest section of beach has a lifeguard. The house is also near the boardwalk and other great restaurants, plus the grocery store. Easy parking. Cute, fun decor. Big table and internet connected TVs. Nice fridge and water dispenser. Everything you’d want in a beach place.

This was the PERFECT place for a Girls Trip with my 16 year old daughter, two of her friends and one other mom! The sleeping arrangements were amazing for us with plenty of room. Both the front and back porches were fabulous and so inviting. Kitchen was more than adequately supplied with pans and dishes, even tupperwear and plastic wrap/aluminum foil! So many things were provided that usually we would have to go purchase and that made this Bungalow a place we will definitely return to! OH, and the location? Maybe a 3-5 minute walk to the beach! SO PERFECT! Also, McKay has chairs and bamboo mats and even a wagon for you to use to transport all the necessities to the beach! I couldn't have been more happy with this choice! Thank you McKay!

This rental checks all the boxes and is absolutely perfect! We come to the beach music festival every year and this place is by far our favorite! Accommodations are enough for your whole crowd, the home is cozy and something new to see everywhere you look! Can’t say enough good things about this property!

This is a great place to rent for a trip. We had 6 in our party and we think the space is right for a group that size. It is a very short walk to the beach access and only a 9 minute walk to the boardwalk! Don’t be deterred that this is not a full house rental! We had a great stay. My only advice is if you are going to cook during your stay instead of going out, bring a sharp set of knives or a knife sharpener. We loved this bungalow!

LOCATION LOCATION! This house was absolutely perfect for 3 moms and our 4 teens girls trip. We had plenty of space and beds were comfortable. Very short walk to beach and short walk to restaurants and boardwalk. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

This home had everything you could ever need! Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, ample seating inside and out and a pet area! The covered porch was so inviting and so much room to play. So close to the beach too. Honorable mention on the bidet in the master bath:) awesome! Cannot wait to stay again

This was our second year staying at this property. It’s a great location, has everything you need, and the front porch and back patios are wonderful. Short 5-minute walk to the beach with life guard. We enjoyed our stay very much and owner is so thoughtful and accomdating!

A real pleasant place to stay, approximately 2 block from beach. Accommodated 10 house guest with plenty of room for all. The host was great to work with and addressed all our questions with prompt responses when contacted. Would recommend to all especially for large groups or family. We would definitely consider if another family vacation to Carolina beach is planned

We had a wonderful stay at 3 beaches. The house was updated, clean, and well thought out. I was impressed with the thoughtful set up of the house to accommodate multiple familes with children and pets. We've been renting beach houses in Carolina Beach for years and this is our favorite one we've found! There are gates on the porch, deck and around the entrances of the yard. It's great for keeping dogs and small children contained. I especially liked the guards under the benches on the back deck- it kept my crwing baby safe from going over the edge. The small yard is great for the dogs to get some energy out between walks. We had 7 adults and three kids under 7 and we all fit very comfortably. My brothers and their respective families took the basement apartments. They mentioned the beds were a little firm for their liking, but otherwise liked the bottom units. I stayed in the upper unit with my dad, husband and baby. We found all the beds upstairs very comfortable. During our stay we had one small issue where the keypad lock broke on us in the main unit. The owner was quick to respond and very friendly. The location was excellent. The beach was only 2 blocks away and the boardwalk was a 10 min walk from the house. There are grocery stores nearby too. Overall this is a fantastic pick for a famy vacation. We hope to stay again next year!!

Had such a blast during our stay. We felt so at home with the chill vibe upon entering. The home is split into three units and it worked perfectly for a bachelorette party of 8. Plenty of space. Backyard was well maintained and no issues during our stay. So convenient in walking to the beach and bars. You can tell the owner put thought into the decor and functionality of the space. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place! Would definitely recommend!

Good location, walking to and from beach and boardwalk was great. AC in unit two didn't seem to work properly, condensation on floor in morning. Grills in back are almost unusable, not clean at all, I didn't expect perfect but those where bad. Did not call to complain, just giving honest review.

This place was perfect for our Thanksgiving holiday and then the next day a small porch wedding! It was close enough to the beach and restaurants and super friendly for our fur babies too! There was even a little crib in the closet we used for our 1 month old grandson... the place literally lacked for nothing. We would definitely book here again.

We had a great weekend in this house. The location is great- super close walk to the beach, and a close walk to some nearby restaurants/bars too. Very clean and we had a group of 12 and it still felt spacious with a lot of great extra amenities like a Keurig, air fryer, etc. The owner was also super responsive. I highly recommend staying here.

This house was in a good spot, easy walking distance to the beach. We were even close enough to walk to restaurants and the boardwalk area. There was plenty of room for our family of 17. The front porch was a real nice place to relax and plan. The outdoor shower made cleanup easy after a day at the beach.

The stay was great overall. Your half way on the block of the second row from the beach. They had toys and beach accessories you could use and basic kitchen supplies. The house is dated and you can tell, but we were fine with that. There was a ton of room, especially with the 2 lower private apartments which worked great for the two families who had smaller children with earlier bed times. Doors are hard to open and close (back door of main house, bathroom in king room, and barn door). The shower outside leaks into the back apartment, and we had to sweep the two back apartments when we arrived due to dust and dirt. The main house was clean. They were doing construction next door which was fine, except for the nails on the driveway. The owner can’t help that though, but fair warning to those staying this summer to be careful to not get a flat tire.

This house is perfectly located between 2 beach accesses and had everything we needed for the beach. It is perfect for 3 groups traveling together or a large family. It easily accommodated our group of 10 and we still had beds left over. The bottom units were just used for sleeping and we did all cooking and chilling together upstairs. Outdoor shower was perfect to rinse off before going inside. Communication was a breeze and we had a wonderful trip! It is .5 mile from the boardwalk.
