About this house rental
Private beach home with enough space to fit 16 of your family and friends. Centrally located in Nags Head our location is prime for wedding groups, beach goers, fishermen, restaurant enthusiast, sand dune climbing and list goes on and on. Enjoy the large yard with Tiki Bar, Grilling station, Saltwater Pool, Hot tub, Fire pit, and Corn hole. Outdoor shower and fish cleaning table available for your convenience. We are a 15 minute walk or a 3 minute drive to the closest public beach access.

Kitchen, dining and family room area. Kitchen has all utensils and appliances needed to prepare any type of meal to include toaster/convection oven and air fryer. Coffee Bar with Keurig and 12 pot coffee maker available for your convenience. Family room area has pullout couch(sofa bed), electric fireplace, 55” Roku Smart Tv provides a perfect spot to unwind and relax. The balcony has an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean with a balcony railing table to enjoy your sunrise breakfast and coffee.
Mid-Level: 4 Bedrooms
Two Master King bedrooms with attached full bathrooms. Both King rooms have access to the wrap around deck which oversees the back yard. One Queen bedroom and one 4 bed bunk room. One full bathroom in the hallway to share between the Bunk and Queen room.
Ground Level: 1 Bedroom
Entertainment area with 65" Roku Smart Tv, Wet bar, Wine cooler, and Infinity game table with several of your favorite games uploaded and ready to play. One Queen bedroom, one full bathroom, pullout couch(sofa bed), Washer/Dryer and Full sized refrigerator.
Extras: All linens are included as well as towels, wash cloths and hand towels. Every bedrom has a Roku TV with many apps loaded and ready for watching. Each shower is equipped with filled body soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. Each bathroom has one roll of toilet paper, refills are not provided. The place was better than advertised. All rooms were clean and spacious. The yard proved to be the focal point for our trip as it was more than accommodating for our large group. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in OBX. Thanks again to our host as they were very responsive whenever we had a question

Nice house for a large family to stay in. We had 8 adults and 4 kids. The bunk beds were a hit with the grandkids (and their parents). Kids enjoyed the pool and adults enjoyed the hot tub. The digital game table was a hit. House was clean when we got there. Kitchen is pretty well stocked with utensils and appliances you might need. You can see the ocean from the back balconies of the house, but not really walking distance to any of the public beach access points. Overall, great place and location to other things.
A few things that were not so good:
It would be great if there were beach towels to use. We shouldn’t have to use the same towel we use for showering to also use for the pool. It’s not convenient to have to pack beach towels when traveling by plane.
The gas grill was so full of grease from previous use that it caught fire during preheating. The burners should be cleaned, so they work correctly, as well.
In the tiki bar, it would be better to have a dart board that uses plastic tipped darts. The metal darts were rusty and we didn’t feel comfortable trying use it with young kids running around.
The driveway enters right onto a very busy street. I realize that can’t be changed, but want potential renters to know you can have challenges coming and going from the house.
Even with those issues, would still recommend for a family get together.

This house was beautiful and absolutely perfect for our destination wedding. Sueann was wonderful to work with, the house was clean, and beautiful and had everything that we needed foe our group of 12. Location is central to all the fun things we wanted to do. Bed was comfy and the ac worked Amazing. The downstairs bar was nice for our poolside days. I will absolutely be booking this home again for our next family vacation

This house was a great size for our crew. We had 7 people stay and would have had room for more to comfortably stay as well. The bedroom and bathroom setup was great, the view is beautiful and the location was nice for getting around OBX! Plenty of beach entrances nearby made beach time very easy!

We planned for all of our adult children and spouses along with grandbaby that is under 1. Would have been 11 counting the baby. We ended up only having 7 of us all adults. The check in was a breeze! Sueann answered messages within minutes!! She has been the best host we have ever had!
The home was immaculate!!! Everything was thought of including 2 family size electric griddles in the kitchen!!! Plenty of dishes, utensils and even had a nice high chair and baby gate if we had needed it.
It is 3 floors. The upper floor is the kitchen and living room and dining room.. plenty of room for a large family. Middle level had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Comfortable beds!!
The bottom floor had a hangout room, bedroom, bathroom, small kitchenette and washer dryer. They had an awesome game table and we loved the speakers!
The pool and hot tub were very clean!!!! The yard had plenty of fun things. We did not go to the beach since we had so much fun at the house.
We did go to Ocracoke which was a whole day event but so worth it! We went to the beach while there.
The house is close to everything you would ever need! Book this place. You won’t regret it! In fact I booked our stay for next year while we were still on our trip. We just got back a little while ago and already miss this place.

We loved staying at Carolina Hooked over 4th of July week with 5 families of 3. We loved how family friendly it was. The baby gates, high chair, pack n play, fenced-in yard, pool, toys, and infinity table were amazing to keep kiddos busy. The only downfalls were the distance to beach and the sand spurs. Neither of these can be avoided or improved by the owner. Communication with owner was great and we had no issues our entire stay. Overall I would give 4.5/5 stars.

This home is absolutely AMAZING!! The kids bunk room has been moved to the main sleeping quarters which is a great move. The outside amenities were great! Everything that you could possibly need is in the kitchen. They even provide pool floats, beach chairs, and a wagon. You literally only have to bring yourself and clothing. The view of the ocean is really only able to be seen from the 3rd floor, and you can hear the ocean at night when the traffic is next to none. The access to the beach is a little more difficult than we anticiated. But all in all, this home and the host is PERFECT!!!

We had 3 families stay here comfortably thanks again Mrs Myers! House was great pull out couches had food and crumbs and things in them but definitely not unexpected and not enough for us to give a bad review. Only concern was our toddler was able to open all main doors with ease child locks set up high would be a plus especially with busy street out front. But overall we would stay again for sure. The house was clean, there was plenty of room for the 10 of us and the backyard was so much fun.
We enjoyed the quick drive to the beach. The beach was not crowded and everyone was super friendly. We also walked to the beach one night, not a short walk, but a relaxing one!
Try the Colington Cafe in Kill Devil Hills, amazing food, good prices, and friendly waitstaff. The Waterfront shops in Roanoke Island Festival Park, near Manteo were fun, lots of dining options there.
If you want to go parasailing, go to North Beach Watersports in Corolla. It’s a drive but worth it.

We traveled to OBX for a softball tournament in April. Unfortunately it rained just about the entire time but we are so glad we picked Carolina Hooked for our stay. We shared our stay with another couple on the team so there were 4 adults and 4 kids. Kids ranging from 10-18. They had a blast in the pool, hot tub, in the yard (with shoes on for sand spurs lol) and just all through the house. The infinity table was great! Us adults spent the whole entire first day by the fire pit in the hammock chairs! (Only day it didn’t rain)
Would stay again just for that feature honestly! The house was equipped with everything you need. There was a handbook that tells you not only everything about the house but also all of the great spots to eat and play. The master bedrooms were VERY comfortable and we were thankful for good shower pressure! Would definitely stay again and hope for no rain to fully be able to enjoy the beautiful backyard. It is for sure one of a kind!

Let me first tell you I have zero complaints about Susan nor the house.
The house layout is almost perfect but would say that it should be known ahead of time that the kid's bunkhouse is on the bottom floor with no adult bedroom. My kids are 1 and 2 and still wake up in the middle of the night. My Wife had to get up throughout the night to walk down the flight of stairs to get to the boys back to sleep. This was not a huge issue for us; however, it may be for others. We also used the lower floor bathroom so that our friends could have their own private bathroom that is in-between the two-queen sized bedrooms. Once again, it was not a problem for us.
The one thing I wish this house had for my trip was a pool heater. The week that we had chosen had cooler temps and higher winds than anticipated which is no one's fault as we booked many months out. Me and my buddy was the only ones to get in and it only happened once.
However, due to the temperature we were forced to hang out with our family and friends around town, in the house, or in the huge fenced in yard. It turns out we chose the best house and area to stay. There is plenty to do to keep yourselves and your young children occupied for an entire week with good or bad weather. Many drinks were had around the pool sunbathing when the sun was out, the fire pit at night and the tiki bar whenever it felt like "Five O'-Clock" somewhere.
I would highly suggest you bring your family and friends to enjoy this home.

Sueann was a great host and very responsive to help when needed. The house is a perfect location for a short walk to the beach to enjoy the day and come home to cool off in the pool. We had 10 adults and plenty of space for us to be comfortable and enjoy ourselves.

Communication with owner was great. However, the grass hadn't been cut which made it impossible to enjoy the yard. The sheets on a number of beds were filthy and needed to be rewashed. There was no linens/towels provided for either of the pullout couches. The fridge in the kitchen smelled like dead fish and the one downstairs had left over ice cream. The cleanliness was definitely subpar and I had to clean out my shower due to someone's hair being left in it. There was also dried bread found underneath one of the pull outs. Neither of the coffee machines worked.

The rental process was really smooth and the host was incredibly responsive. The outdoor space was great and the kids loved the hammocks at the fire pit. We couldn’t get the toaster oven to heat up but made it work with the oven.

Amazing Stay, Amazing Location, Amazing Time!
A group of friends and I stayed at Carolina Hooked for 5 days over 4th of July weekend for a Wedding at Hilton in OBX. We had the most amazing time. We would have rather stayed at the house hanging out in the pool than go to the wedding and dance on the dancefloor.
The house is stunning and really well decorated. We had everything we needed to cook meals in the kitchen or outside on the grill. Everyone was able to have their own bed and personal space. The showers had incredible water pressure and having our own bathrooms was a HUGE plus in getting ready.
The decks on every floor gave everyone some quiet space in the morning and again in the evening. WE LOVED the tiki bar and hammock swings by the fire pit. The Hot tub and pool were also a perfect fit for our group. The inside bar and downstairs fridge were great for mixing cocktails and storing beer and claws as we hung outside.

We had an AMAZING time at Sueann’s beach house!! You don’t need to bring much which helps A LOT while staying with kids. The kitchen is fully equipped with whatever you need. Bedrooms are very comfortable and cozy. Outdoor pool and hot tub was a hit with our group. As well as the Tiki Bar and Grill. Our kids loved the infinity table. Sueann was very responsive and took immediate action when we confronted issues with one of the AC units. 💯 recommended and would definitely considered to come back!!

Relaxing family getaway
This home was perfect for our large family that included our 3 children, their spouses and our 5 grandchildren. The little ones enjoyed making s’mores at the fire pit and relaxing by the pool. This home was exactly what we expected from the description and photos. The home is well kept and super clean. The beach is within walking distance, but we opted to drive most of the time just to make hauling chairs, umbrellas and toys a bit easier for our crew. Shopping, grocery stores, and restaurants are all close by and easy to get to.

Whole Family Vacay
This house was perfect for our whole family vacation. We had 8 adults and 4 kids under 10 years old staying at this house and it was perfect! The pool, hot tub, fire pit and bar area outside were where we spent all of our time! The views from the 3rd floor kitchen were beautiful. The “bunk room” was perfect for the kids. It is about a 10 minute walk to the public beach entrance, but the road has sidewalks which made the short walk easy with kids. It’s the perfect getaway for families.
