I have given a strong rating to this orooerty as it was very comfortable for 5 couples who were in the area for a wedding.

The house was a great layout for what we were looking for (6 adults and 4 children), and came with everything we needed. The view is beautiful as well, and the owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Quiet area and short drive into town.

Never been to this pet of the province and the location was amazing the owners underplay the majesty of Lake Ontario in the back yard
Please come and relax and watch and listen. It’s a great location

In the foyer a once lovely chandelier, is dirty/tangled. Up stairs a large dead plant. The windows in the bedrooms do not have screens but a note indicating not to open. The balcony door had a note, not to open one side. It is full of old dead bugs/spiderwebs. The love seat is broken, chairs dirty. Inside the house is reasonably clean. The caulking around the sink in the main bathroom /kitchen have turned brown. The doors out to the deck, dirty with note not to open one side. The window in the kitchen that could be opened, was blown down by the wind twice. The deck paint is peeling different colors, some of the boards are warped and rotting. The deck chairs, dirty. The enclosure for the hot tub is like the balcony, full of old dead bugs/spiderwebs. The hot tub was used once by one of the adults, he found the water got cool after awhile, no one used it after that. The BBQ took a long time to get to 400 but would not go higher. The bricks on the fire pit where somewhat shuffled, it was full of ashes, we cleaned it but only used once. The games room was locked, from the window it looked more like a storage room with boxes and other things scattered around. The oven was dirty, you had to turn in on/off several times before it worked. To my family, I say, you are amazing, I love you, it is awesome whenever we can get together. To the owner I say, you should be ashamed of yourself for posting picture that do not accurately reflect the current condition of the cottage. Won't be back

As I said, do NOT stay at this property. Had a friend vacation here and upon arrival, had to clean for 45 minutes to make sure it was suitable for guests. Crushed up food on the ground, crumbs, cheese, etc. left in the fridge, dirt crusted inside refrigerator drawers, sand in the sheets, dirty used bandaids and tampons in the garbage, food crusted in drawers and I could go on. The host was responsive to my messages but gave no solutions. He agreed to give us back ONLY 3% of what we paid to stay here which was less than the cleaning fee (which he did share with me and our reimbursement was $50 less than the cleaner fee). Do not stay here unless you want to feel dirty the entire time.

The cottage was nice. Close to Erieau and Chatham. The hot tub was dirty but he got on it right away when we connected him.

I stayed at this property with 2 friends.
We enjoyed the place very much. It is very bright and very well appointed.
The beds a very comfortable , the kitchen spacious. Everything you need is there if you want to cook a meal plus coffee maker, coffee , filters and tea.
The house is located on the lake. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the ducks and different gulls.
You are minutes away from the lovely town of Erieau and 25 minutes for Rondeau Provincial park.
The owner made sure we had everything we needed and was just a text or phone call away. There was even a bottle of wine to welcome us.
All three of us highly recommend this beautiful house.

This cottage is huge and easily accommodated three generations of our family. The main floor bedrooms worked really well for the seniors in our group. The play pen and high chair meant we didn’t have to bring those items for the toddler. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The dishwasher was a bonus. We cooked a full thanksgiving Turkey dinner. We didn’t get to use the fire pit as it was quite windy and the huge waves crashing into the break wall meant the fire pit was wet most of the time. It was fascinating watching the waves hit. We were able to enjoy the large deck overlooking the lake. The only negative and this is really picky is not having a full 12 cup coffee maker. If there was one there we didn’t find it. The coffee maker makes one cup at a time and took a while to get everyone their morning coffee. It is a lovely place and I would definitely recommend it.

The cottage is very nice but we had to clean the fridge and vacuum the floors in the kitchen. There was a dirty baking sheet in the oven and we found the towels and bath mats in the drier. I suggest a new cleaning company.

Unfortunately, severe winds hindered our ability to stay out on the deck to enjoy the water. We were unable to make a fire for many nights due to it being "wet"

Beautiful view of the lake & very clean cottage. We ranged from teenagers to Seniors & everything we needed (& more!) was there. The host was quick to return any messages or concerns.
We would definitely recommend this to friends & family! Thanks for a great vacation!

The backyard view is beautiful and very relaxing. We loved sitting outside listening the the waves. The 5 bedroom house had plenty of room for our family and parents to enjoy. There is a walking trail that leads you right to Erieau where you can enjoy restaurants, brewery, beach and cute little shops. Great location to spend the weekend! Host was responsive to our questions.

Beautiful, peaceful property on the water
We stayed 3 nights with three children and 5 adults. It was so peaceful and calm, listening to the waves crash on the rocks. The house was well-stocked and laid out with just about everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay again!

Mystery trip destination
Had a great time at Harsh's house. The kitchen was bright & central to house with a view of the lake. Had all the cooking utensils we needed, but bring your own spices as there was only salt & pepper. The bedrooms are well spaced out & with 2 ladies 80+ it was nice to have everything on the main floor for them. Situated on a very quiet road there was virtually no traffic. With no beach, the sand area created off the back deck was a great place to relax & catch up while watching the water. Harsh was always quick to respond to any questions. Upon our arrival there was a bottle of wine waiting...what a wonderful gesture to start our girls getaway. Thank you.

LOVED IT!
Our family rented this house for 3 nights on a long weekend. A large house with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a great working kitchen. Appreciated that the towels and linen were all supplied. The information on the website was accurate to what we experienced. If you like spices then bring your own. Just salt and pepper there. Loved the stove/oven and that it had a dishwasher as we made a lot of dirty dishes! Also loved that there were empty cupboards to store our own kitchen things for the weekend. Plates and utensils well stocked....could use a few platters. Bring your own dishwasher pucks, wood for the campfire, laundry soap, salad spinner, cooling racks and a beater if you're going to bake. Lots of light with all the windows. We didn't use the washer and dryer but appreciated that they were available. Very comfortable beds...much appreciated. Bonus that there is a pocket door between the kitchen and TV room. There are two bedrooms off the TV room so this would keep it quiet for those sleeping. Bring your own games. The smoke detectors work great! Very sensitive and loud ! Quiet road for long walks. Other activities are a short drive away. All in all we would recommend this place for a getaway.

Girls weekend away
This is a great cottage. Kitchen is large with plenty of storage. 5 bedrooms with big comfy beds and 3 bathrooms meant lots of space for the 8 ladies.
Recommend bringing some cards or board games for those rainy days as there wasn't anything available at the cottage.
Cottage is located on a one-way, remote road making it for a very quiet experience. The back patio, which is mostly covered, was great to sit out on and watch the boats and birds floating by.
There is a nature area nearby to go for a walk and take in the scenery.

Family Reunion
After almost three years we gathered at Harsh’s house for much needed family time. We came from Californian to finally see our Canadian relatives. The house was exactly as shown in the listing. Harsh was most responsive during the pre-rental period, immediately responding to my questions. And then when we arrived…he gave us his phone number if we needed anything.. And he left us a welcome bottle of wine! Beds were comfortable, plenty of bath towels, soaps etc. You could tell they put some thought into making their guests comfortable. Because this is a new rental, there is not a stock of kitchen spices etc. only salt and pepper. So be aware, if you are going to do some “real” cooking, you need to bring all your ingredients. But that is only a minor thing. It’s a great place and we would certainly stay there again.
