Escape the hustle and bustle of the city to the quiet and relaxing North Shore! The North Shore region is made up both of a rocky coastline, dotted with marshes and wetlands, as well as several beaches and natural harbors, allowing guests to really get away from the city life and feel like they are in a different country. This home in particular will not only provide you with access to the beautiful sights and scenes of Rockport but also the culture as well. Located just a few hundred feet from Main Street Rockport, you can shop, eat and drink at dozens of local spots, and better yet, go to the beach by just walking a short distance to the Harbor.

The interior of this home is clean and fresh, welcoming you in with open arms and inviting you to stay awhile. An open concept from dining, living, and kitchen allows free flow of guests making it a great spot to entertain and catch up with one another over some homemade meals if you opt out of downtown for the night. If there is inclement weather during your stay, no worries, there is a perfect three-season room that works great for entertaining family and friends. The first floor features the main living space, a full bath with a standalone shower, and a laundry room with a washer/dryer combo and plenty of baskets. All four bedrooms are located upstairs along with two full bathrooms.

we enjoyed the home. Everything was lovely. Except no one could sleep in the master bedroom. The bed sagged in the center. Our daughter and son-in-law had to sleep in another room. This mattress must be changed out unfortunately it was the flaw during our stay.

This house was a dream to stay in. Location was perfect and walkable to the beach, Bearskin Neck, and all downtown Rockport has to offer. The property was exactly as described and the yard was such a peaceful spot to enjoy a nice evening. I will definitely be back!

This house was terrific for our family of five plus a family friend, while our teenagers were visiting friends from school in the area. There was plenty of space for sleeping, cooking and hanging out at the house, and it was a quick, nice walk to Downtown Rockport shops and restaurants. The property owners have put a lot of thought into the amenities provided for visitors to enjoy their stay.

Lovely home with many seating and living areas to fit all kinds of families. Our family group was four adults and we appreciated the separate bedrooms. Quiet setting. Very comfortable. Would definitely visit again. One note: the dining table is a bit high compared to the chair height and it was also a little hard to navigate exiting the wraparound couch behind the dining table. So, enough space for a large family but a bit challenging for shorter or more elderly family members. Might need to have a cushion or something for kids to sit at the table.

Outer group of 4 had a lovely time in the house. As pictured, but possibly even roomier. Lots of space to spread out. Nice quiet neighborhood, easily accessible to the main roads. We had a lovely time and would return.

We absolutely loved our stay in this home. We were able to easily get to the train station, and a grocery store, and the lovely downtown area. The home is beautiful and cozy, everything was clean and neat. The street was a pleasant walk to the shopping area and we had a great afternoon walking through the shops and having coffee. My only complaint is that the master bed is VERY wobbly and feels unstable. But it's comfortable once you're in it. And the available netflix only has a kids profile unlocked (so we just used the hulu). Having the 2 separate sink areas to get ready for our midnight wedding was perfect. Thank you for opening your home to us! We would love to stay again

Great trip with family ! Amazing place to stay - walking distance to town. Perfect place to stay if one likes quiet at night. Lots of room for all. Three bathrooms which makes everything work well. If you wish to cook, bring measuring cups, measuring spoons, bread knife..or anything you like to use to create your masterpiece. Ask in advance if oven is working if you need to use one. We would love to go back.

This abode provides numerous rooms and outdoor spaces to enjoy. We were a group of five adults who enjoyed the house and the lovely seaside town of Rockport. Four bedrooms gave us space to sleep in air conditioned comfort.

We had a wonderful week in charming Rockport. We enjoyed our stay at the High Street Hideaway property. The spacious home is very clean, comfortable and provided everything that we needed. The home is in a great location and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We would not hesitate to stay at the High Street Hideaway again.

Great house, Great location for our stay. Definitely not a 4 more like a 4.8 but the option isn’t available. Master bedroom mattress should b replaced and although we weren’t in the house much a better channel selection on tv should be available. FYI master bathroom sink needs drano.No biggie. Rockport by itself is lovely so any house would have been just fine. This house was sufficient in all ways. Big rooms, clean, plenty of light, comfortable couches and beds...best part of the gas freestanding stove in the family room. Happy to have chosen the house. Thank You.

We loved our time in Rockport! The house was awesome - super clean, beautiful yard, and great location. We had our family (2 adults and 2 small children, so we did bring portable cribs) and my parents stay very comfortably with room to spare. We walked to town several times, took about 10-15 minutes but was very hot and had stroller, so we were on the slower side, and an additional 5-10 to the beach. There is an awesome playground across from the beach as well which was nice to have within walking distance. I’d suggest having a couple beach amenities - there are towels, but chairs and perhaps an umbrella would have been a bonus - for the summer renters, but everything else was so great it didn’t take away from our stay. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return ourselves!

Good location

Can walk to the center of Rockport in about 12 minutes. Otherwise it’s very hard to get parking. Lovely gardens around the yard and quiet. 3 full bathrooms and very comfortable beds. I would recommend this house.
