About this house rental
Come enjoy your vacation at Sebago Lake in this charming cabin set back in the woods. Nestled in the entrance of Kettle Cove, behind the Dingley Islands, and out looking the big part of Sebago Lake sits this rustic cabin.
Sit and relax or enjoy a lovely meal on the screened in front porch that stretches the length of the house and offers the most gorgeous views of the lake. Walk through the front door into the open concept kitchen, dining, and living room. A large round table offers plenty of space to enjoy a low key summer meal with family or friends (4 adults max, 7 guests max overnight). Or sit at the kitchen island to serve breakfast that has a beautiful view out to the waterfront.
If a rainy day, enjoy some R&R on the big red comfy couch that faces the stone fireplace. If you don't want to watch tv, then have fun playing cards or a game of checkers. Or listen to the rain while rocking on the front porch reading your favorite book.
But you won't want to ever be inside when you see the breathtaking waterfront this property offers. A large dock with a dining set sits overlooking the lake (dock can be rented for watercraft for a nightly $25 fee or $125 weekly fee). There is a lovely private sandy beach for all ages to enjoy. Take the 2 kayaks provided for you out to explore the shoreline. Then at night sit by the fire pit and roast some marshmallows talking about all the fun the day brought.
However you would like to enjoy your vacation on Sebago Lake, this charming cabin will allow you to make lasting memories.

This is a beautiful, quiet spot! The screened in porch was our favorite. The house was clean and well stocked. We have a 10 and 12 year old and it was really nice to either sit on the beach or swim from the dock. We had a boat and the dock was perfect! Would definitely recommend this spot.

We had an awesome week. The camp was very clean, comfortable and the layout is excellent. The camp is very well stocked and kept. We really enjoyed the screened porch in the comfortable rocking/gliding chairs with a view of the lake.
The water access was great also. Good for kids or adults that can't swim. Skilled swimmers could dive from the end of the dock.
Ashley was very responsive to any requests we had.
We four friends have been renting camps for 20 years together and in our opinion and this is without question one of the top rated camps we have stayed at.

After our stay last summer, we knew we wanted to return this summer and we’re so glad we did! Lovely house with an amazing waterfront. House was extremely clean upon arrival. Hosts were easy to contact leading up to, and during the stay, if necessary. Excellent location. Hoping to be back another week next summer!

We had a great week on the lake. Loved the fires by the shore and warm days on the dock. The porch was a favorite for morning coffee and evening chats. Saw eagles, loons, deer & fireflies. The host gave a great recommendation for a boat rental. Kitchen well equipped. It was a great stay.

We loved our stay and will be coming back for many years! House has a perfect layout was clean and had everything we needed. Porch was the best for relaxing and reading, awesome view of the lake, lake front was just perfect for walking right into the water or hanging out on the dock. Property manager was super friendly and responsive when we had questions or needed anything, can’t say enough good things! We will definitely be back next year! Thank you again, Ashley, for everything!!

We loved the house, it was great for our family of 5. It was convenient and well stocked with everything we needed! Lake is beautiful, having the kayaks there was so nice. Wish there was more of a beach area for the littles but we would absolutely recommend!

The dock area is beautiful, comfortable, and fun. In addition to a clean table and umbrella, there is a nice fire pit (the owner pleasantly surprised us with some firewood) and a comfy hammock. The table area even has easy-dry carpet. The water is clean and has shallow and deep areas. I would say that it is our favorite part of the property. I selected 4 stars for online listing accuracy because we didn't know that there's a road between the dock area and the house, even though the road has little traffic (only neighborhood traffic) and it didn't bother us at all. The furniture on the porch is comfy and has a good view of the lake. The house is a little old but well kept and clean. There may be a few moths coming in at night if you open all the windows, which we did. The kitchen is well stocked with all the usual tools and plenty tools for eating lobsters. The owner is very responsive for all the questions and friendly. One thing to note is that the bunkbed's lower bunk's clearance is a bit low. Some suggestions are that the water can taste better and there could be a fan in the bathroom.

Loved staying at this house for a week. Rented with my husband, my brother, and his wife. Great spot on Sebago and especially loved the huge screened in porch. A close distance to anything you may need (grocery store, restaurants, Walmart). Highly considering renting again next year!

We had a fantastic week at the cabin on the lake, even though the weather didn’t necessarily cooperate. Kids had a blast jumping off the dock and we thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch with serene views overlooking Sebago. I would highly recommend this for a family vacation and look forward to going back next summer!

Had a great three night mini escape up to Sebago Lake to attend a wedding in New Gloucester, Cottage was well equipped for cooking, handy electric grill for breakfast prep, scrumptious K-Cup coffee, and a heater to keep us all toasty!! Three adult couples and an infant - plenty of room for all. Host was quick to respond to any inquiries.

The house was very clean, it had all the amenities we needed and nice location.
We would love to come back and stay longer, but unfortunately it will not accommodate our cat ☹️.

We have been renting various camps/cabins on Sebago Lake for over 20 years and various lakes and locations in Maine for over 35 years. This was hands down the best kept property we have rented. The beach front was so comfortable and plenty of room for 4 active adults. The fire pit help extend our days by the water. And the cabin was clean and comfortable. Thank you Ashley and Shawn.

This camp is a lovely spot to vacation and the view and location are perfect FOR A SMALL FAMILY. We rent every summer in Maine as we travel to Maine from North Carolina to visit our family and friends. We worked diligently to make every night meet the requirements of the owners specifications of 7 people only. I spent hours making a schedule to ensure sure we juggled the” 7 people allowed overnight” . During the day we had friends and family visit us and the numbers did exceed the 7 but it says no where in the listing that you are restricted on the number of visitors during the day. It does specific you can not have events or parties, neither of which we had. We are a Middle Aged couple who came to get married and enjoy a peaceful vacation with family and friends. We do not party, are not loud and are very respectful. I spent most days worried about the owners because they have cameras on the property and they live next door. Not once did they come over and see us personally but in communication sent several messages telling us we were the only people they rented to this summer that has had“that many people”. I constantly felt under stress because I had to keep making sure we were following all the rules posted on every wall, counter and appliance/
The food disposal did not work and that sink plugged every time we washed dishes and the instructions asked us to stick our hands down the drain to unplug every time.
We were allowed three garbage bags for the week and told that was plenty for 7 people for 7 days.
We have used VRBO for years and this is the first time we have felt “monitored” and looked down upon.
When we checked out we were 8 minutes behind and they were very rude to us about getting out. They also charged us an additional $25 a night boat fee for our daughter to keep her boat on the dock. This seemed a bit much after the price of the camp for a week.
Overall this is a lovely camp, lovely location and we were very much looking forward to our vacation week but we would not rent from them again. We were highly recommended from them as well to find a different accommodation next summer, which makes me sad. If they had only come and spoken to us in person I think they would have seen the kind of people we are and there would not have been assumptions about us.
We are highly respected professionals in NC and come to Maine every summer! I felt judged without apology and for this I am super disappointed.

We loved this rustic cabin, the location is precise and the cabin is the perfect size for our family of seven. The house manager was prompt to respond with any questions or issues. It is definitely a spot that we would consider for future Sebago vacations!

This property was everything we wanted in a vacation property.
It was rustic but enjoyable with all the amenities you would require.
The screened in porch was such a benefit on the few rainy evenings we encountered.
The dock area was superb in its setup and the small beach area where we launched our kayaks and swam.
The hosts, Ashley and Shawn were very friendly and personable and responsive with any concerns we had.
It's a beautiful, quiet area that is close enough to many activities such as golf, shopping, dining, boat rentals, etc.
An excellent vacation choice.

Sebago vacation
We loved it here. The spot was beautiful and the house had everything we needed including some really nice extras like a Keurig with pods and provided linens and towels. The front porch was the best and the fire pit right on the lakefront was a great way to relax. We loved Exploring the lake in the kayaks. Two weeks was not enough. We had a great family vacation here. Highly recommend and hope to return!

An Awesome Lake House!!
My family & I enjoyed a relaxing week at this rustic cabin. The private lake area was top notch which included an outdoor table/chairs right on the water, zero entry for the kiddos, and a beach area too! The enclosed porch included comfy lounge chairs and a dining table which made it an awesome spot to start and end the day. The cabin was very clean and the owners take pride in this property. They were responsive before and during our stay.
