About this apartment rental
If you’re already planning to take the SkyTrain, why not live in the sky? This upscale sub-penthouse in Coal Harbour offers panoramic views of the harbor and mountains from its floor-to-ceiling windows, not to mention spacious and bright air-conditioned accommodations full of high-end finishes. From here, shopping, restaurants, and the Seaplane are all just a short walk away.
Neighborhood:
The penthouse is in Coal Harbour, which is central to all of the attractions and entertainment of downtown Vancouver. Don’t miss the sights, sounds, and smells of historic Granville Island Public Market, where you can grab a pint, buy fresh salmon and Montreal bagels, and watch a dance performance all in one place. Head up Grouse Mountain for skiing, skating, ropes challenges and even a visit to a grizzly bear habitat. Spend a laid-back day picnicking and riding the train at beautiful Stanley Park, home of the Vancouver Aquarium and only 15 minutes away by bus.
Walk or jog along the 28km Sea Wall to get a feel for the city, or hop on an iconic rainbow-splashed Aqua Bus to see the Vancouver skyline from a truly unique vantage point. In the warmer months, Vancouver’s popular Kitsilano Beach is the perfect place to take a dip, relax on the sand, or play a game of volleyball or tennis.
From here, you can also catch the Seaplane to tour some of B.C.’s most beautiful spots, including Victoria, Whistler, and Salt Spring Island.
We have 1 fob to access the building. You will need to coordinate within your group if daily plans involve splitting up.
Families with teens and older children, couples, and groups who are looking for a high-end experience will love this Coal Harbour sub-penthouse with room for 8.
Living Spaces
The living is easy especially in the bright living room with elegant furnishings in its sitting area and jaw-dropping mountain and water views from its impressive bank of windows. Relax on the comfortable sofa with seating for 3 or one of 4 upholstered MCM-inspired chairs and host a film night on the flat-screen TV–don’t forget a bottle of award-winning Kelowna Riesling.
Kitchen & Dining
The open kitchen gives onto the living room and dining area and features a full suite of stainless steel appliances including side-by-side French door refrigerator, double oven, built-in range, and dishwasher. This area also has a capacious island with bar seating for 2, and plenty of cupboard and counter space. How many kitchens have multimillion-dollar views? We don’t know, but this one sure does, and those views extend into the dining space with modern chandelier and seating for 6.
Bedrooms & Baths
The sub-penthouse has two comfortably furnished primary suites, each with queen bed and full ensuite bath. You’ll find 2 additional very small bedrooms, each with queen bed. These smaller bedrooms are only large enough to fit a queen bed.
There is: one half-bath and one 3 piece bath with shower.
Transit:
The penthouse is easily accessible by public transit (it’s a 4-minute walk from Burrard Sky Train Station), as well as taxi, car, and Lyft/Uber. The closest major airport is Vancouver International (YVR), 14 km away.
We have 1 fob to access the building. You will need to coordinate within your group if daily plans involve splitting up.

We very much enjoyed the view and our stay.

We (8 adults) decided to visit Vancouver for 3 days prior to our Alaskan cruise. So glad we did. Vancouver and Victoria are amazing. Condo was perfect and location was great. Our host was always very responsive from booking through checkout. We would stay there again.

This was a beautiful property in a great location!! We loved the experience of staying in a high rise in the city with lots of space!!! The only downside was one fob to get into the building/elevator. We made it work for our family of five and I would definitely stay here again❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this condo for our visit to Vancouver. The condo is in a very convenient location and many of the activities we did were within walking distance. The condo itself is beautiful, with excellent views through the panoramic windows. We highly recommend this property.

This condo was perfect for our large geoup of adult friends to explore vancouver. Its hard to find a place where the 7 of us can fit comfortably and all have our own bathrooms and have a comfortable place to spend time together when were not out on the town. The price for this place was also very good for what you get. The communication before my stay was a little lacking but ad soon as I was there, the host was very communicative. I would absolutely stay again.

Before our Alaska cruise, we stayed for three days in Pelican's Peak Sub-Penthouse. The place is located in the center of main Vancouver attractions and convenient to go around the town. Only difficulty that we encountered was to get a FOB key from a retail store - something that we weren't used to. Also, having just one FOB key was not easy for our group to share. But, the stay was conformable, otherwise. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

We had a really great time at Martine's penthouse, and would absolutely recommend it to anyone staying in Vancouver! The views were truly breathtaking, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The heated floors were a huge plus! Martine was accommodating to our flight schedule, allowing us to check in a little earlier and check out a later than usual. If you want the best views, tons of space and a great location in Vancouver, look no further!

The property is very roomy and comfortable. Proximity to the Waterfront, Stanley Park, and the Gaslight District is outstanding and our host was very accessible and helpful. The only downside to the property is that there is only one key fob for the unit so coordination is key.

I stayed here for a conference with coworkers. The location was perfect for attending the conference venue then exploring the city in our down time. I loved being in the heart of downtown Vancouver! Martine was a gracious host. The one downside is the single key/fob. It made coordinating between 4 guests very difficult.

Well located downtown, the apartment was perfect for the five of us, with four bedrooms and three and a half baths.

The penthouse was amazing with beautiful views of the city. It was an ideal place to stay for our group stay within walking distance to pretty much everything we needed.

Very spacious condo, very quiet, great common spaces for a group, great location, good views, comfortable beds, host was excellent and easy to contact, very helpful

This rental did have a good location, size and views. It was also clean at check-in and check-in was easy.
We did feel like this apartment looked nicer in the listing photos than it does in person. The furnishings are on the inexpensive side, the upholstery furniture not very comfortable, the dishware cheap, the beds stiff, the tile in the bathrooms dated.
Given the expense of the rental and the actual cost of this unit if you were to buy it we expected it's interiors to feel higher end. This rental fell short of expectations from the listing photos but overall the stay was suitable for our family of five.

We absolutely loved the views and spaciousness of the home. The location is perfect and check in was so easy and convenient. Four bathrooms made getting ready for the day easy. Being able to open the windows to enjoy the fresh air was wonderful. There were 6 of us and the place had plenty of space for us. I highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay. The building was easily accessible, and the key pickup process was hassle-free with a lockbox conveniently located just a block away.
One major inconvenience was that there was only one key fob for the entrance/elevator, which proved to be a challenge for our group of seven going in different directions.
However, the house itself was absolutely stunning. It was beautifully designed and fully stocked with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The views from the property were breathtaking, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.
The other drawback was that the AC only worked in the main common areas, leaving the bedrooms uncomfortably warm during our stay. This was a bit disappointing, but it didn't overshadow the overall amazing experience we had and would definitely stay here again.

Breath taking, 360 views of the city. Clean, modern and remodeled condo.

We had a wonderful stay in Vancouver. The location was perfect for our travel needs. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Two of the bedrooms are very small. In our travel party, one couple was not happy about that. We only had one key fob for the front door which took some coordinating when we went in different directions. This wasn't a huge problem, but it did require planning. Communication was great. We are very happy we chose to stay here.

Condo is in a fantastic location. We did have a rental car that we used to go to Whistler - what a drive - and Granville market. Had a great lunch while there at the Sand Bar. So many other things to do all within walking distance. Would highly recommend this rental.

Great location in Vancouver. Close to everything we wanted to see and do.
Some instructions for the TV , heating cooling etc would definitely come in handy.

Our stay was amazing, the condo was stunning. & the location was perfect.
2 suggestions: only had 1 key, need at least 2.
Add a dated itinerary to the confirmation email that includes when all payment & checkin procedures will be sent to guests. Thank you.

4 of us stayed here. The location was ideal for our week of meeting and an expo. Easy to access keys. Great space with nice views. For 4 of us to stay here we saved thousands over the cost of hotels plus had a space to visit. We will definitely be back.

Spacious living room, dining and kitchen area. Well equipped. Drip and perk coffee makers. Lots of glasses, flatware etc. a master suite and vey small bedroom on each side of the condo, so lots of privacy (appears to be two 2-bedroom units tastefully combined and remodeled. Each master has en-suite bath and large walk in closet. The smaller bedrooms are very tight but decent closet and bathroom just a few steps out the bedroom (1 is 3/4, 1 is 1/2 bath with clothes washer in place of shower). Note don’t count on “clothes dryer” as it is a ventless washer/dryer combo with cold air. Beds are comfortable. Building entry attractive. 2 secure underground parking space but only 1 key fob for the 3 parking gates. Definitely stay again

Most all was good for our family stay at this wonderfully located condo. We appreciated the early check-in and communication w property manager. Two of the four showerheads need updating (one poor flow; one just comes out one side), and the main coffee table very rickety and could use replacing. Was a little flummoxed why this wasn’t taken care of before our five night stay. Main tub didn’t drain properly either. Otherwise a lovely place near everything.
10.0 / 10.0
We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. Gorgeous views. Everything we needed. There was some mix up with the maid service so the apartment wasn’t ready when we arrived. But the manager made it right and we enjoyed the rest of our stay very much.

Beautiful views and property to stay at in a great central location.
8.0 / 10.0
The property was in a great location and had beautiful views. It was also very clean. The 2 large bedrooms were very, very nice as were their accompanying bathrooms. However, the 2 small bedrooms were tiny and almost inhabitable. There wasn’t any room to even move around the bed let alone anywhere to put a suitcase. There were tiered cubbies however you couldn’t get to them because there was no room to move around the beds. The wooden furniture needs replaced as the stools at the island were band tied. It could be a perfect property if a few things were changed.

Our family of 6 adults spent 4 nights at this property. We loved it! Turn your chairs around and look out the windows - morning coffee has never been better. Lots of room, great kitchen. Short walks to groceries, shopping, restaurants, and Stanley Park. We came in fall and are already planning a trip back in summer. We would stay here again.

Four couples stayed comfortably in this spacious, nicely appointed high-rise condo. Views are beautiful. Great kitchen and living areas for gathering. Condo bedrooms could get stuffy because they didn’t have ac vents. Balconies are standing room only.
The location of this condo is a wonderful one. Close to Stanley Park, seaplanes, Canada Place, free shuttles to Grouse Mountain, Capilano Suspension Bridge and much more. Great restaurants, groceries, retail and public transportation all within short walking distance.
We would definitely stay here again.

I can’t say enough about this condo. The location is perfect for walking to downtown, along the ocean or over to Stanley Park. It is spacious, the beds are very comfortable. And the kitchen has lots of amenities to make your stay comfortable. Martine is an attentive host and quick to respond to any queries. Highly recommend this vrbo.

The apartment was wonderful - we had 8 people - 2 couples and 4 children. The two master bedrooms were fantastic and the other two rooms were preferectly fine. The apartment is roomy and has lots of light, beautiful views of the water- we watched the cruise ships go by in the morning. The location is wonderful - very centrally located - easy to walk down to the water and very close to Stanley Park. It was a wonderful location that we would certainly go back to and that I highly recommend to others.

Great space, wonderful kitchen and living area, beautiful views of the surrounding neighborhoods. Great location for accessing the waterfront and the city. Could not be happier with our choice for the stay in Vancouver.
10.0 / 10.0
Central city location but Stanley Park readily accessible for walks/hikes/activities, lovely views, restaurants and waterfront close by, excellent property with lots of room, air conditioning very much appreciated in a summer hot spell, easy to access, great host interactions.
8.0 / 10.0
Martine was a great host. She was very responsive and helpful. The property was quite spacious for downtown Vancouver, but the bedrooms are dated. Two bedrooms are quite small. Ultimately, we had one fewer couple, so the two couple each had larger bedrooms. The common areas were very nice and spacious. They had been updated. All-in-all, a nice place to stay and a great host.

We had a great stay in Coal Harbor and the location was excellent- walkable to many attractions like Stanley Park and the sea wall and shopping on Robson. The apartment could use some new window treatments and shower heads. All else was in great condition and we had plenty of space to relax and enjoy family time!

Perfect!!
The perfect location within easy walking distance of both Slanley park; the waterfront and all of downtown. Every convenience for house and home you could want. We had high expectations from seeing the pictures and reading the information about this beautiful "apartment/home". They were all met and exceeded. Loved it all!
