Are you ready for a relaxing retreat? Welcome to Beach Glass Cottage. This recently renovated home is 2 blocks from Kids Corner and 3 blocks from beach access. It’s a short walk to downtown and has convenient access to the Van Buren Trail Spur. When you aren’t exploring everything that South Haven has to offer, you can relax in the private hot tub or roast marshmallows in the fire pit.

This stylish home has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. It sleeps 10 people and there is space for up to 3 cars. You will have access to the entire home except for the basement crawl space and the upstairs linen closet which is used by the host. The main level has a dining space and an open concept living room and kitchen. There is one full bath with a walk in shower on the lower level. The kitchen includes a drip coffee maker, a french press, local ground coffee (Infusco, Sawyer, MI), assorted teas and hot chocolate. If coffee is not part of your morning routine, there is also a Ninja blender available for morning smoothies. The kitchen is stocked with gadgets, pots and pans, baking sheets and dinnerware.

Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms and 1 full bath with a tub/shower combination. Bedrooms one and two both have a queen bed, while bedrooms 3 and 4 have a twin over full bunk with a twin trundle.

The house has high speed Wifi and a television in the living room with a Roku. Home includes a pack and play, child plates and utensils and children’s toys and books.

The house has ample outdoor space including a front porch with seating for two, upstairs balcony with seating for two, back patio with hot tub and outdoor dining table. There is also a yard with a fire pit and hammock. The brand new hot tub seats 8 and has colorful lighting and a waterfall.

Kid friendly with Pack N Play, toys, Duplo blocks and books. Kids dinnerware (BPA free) including plates, silverware, bowls, cups with lids and straws.

There are also board games, cards and crayons.

Contactless check in will utilize a personal code for the front door lock which will be sent to you 1-2 days prior to arrival and will activate at 4pm on the day of check in.

The exterior of the home is monitored with security cameras, one in the front and one in the back (both are Ring doorbells). The front is used for occupancy. The back ring can be set on motion-snooze while the home is rented. There are no interior cameras.

The house was perfect for a family get away for fall break. The house had everything we needed to make meals from home. Close walking distance to the beach and restaurants are a short drive too. The hot tube was a great bonus! We would definitely recommend staying here!

We love this south haven home. It’s so nice to be in the back of a little side street so the kids could play outside without us having to worry about cars. The walk to the beach and the town is super easy. Sarah is very easy to get ahold of if needed, although she was very thoughtful in furnishing her home with everything you will need for a wonderful getaway. We hope to return!

Sarah’s vacation home in South Haven was perfect for my family. The house was big, clean and , fully furnished with everything we needed, including a crib and toys for the baby. The locations was outstanding - walking distance to the beach, playground and downtown area. Sarah was so helpful and responded to my emails very quickly. We will definitely stay there again.

This is our 2nd time staying at this house. Everything is exactly as described. Sarah goes above and beyond. We had 2 minor issues (out of owners hands) but she helped contact the right people and get it resolved it quickly. We will definitely stay in this house again !

We had a nice stay. The host was quick to communicate and let us check in early which was great! The house was clean and updated however a bit small. The listing states 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms however there were only 2 bathrooms. The furniture in the house was not great quality- the table and chairs in the dining room felt like they could fall apart at any moment and the kitchen could use a few extra trays for cooking. The house is close to the lake and town so we we’re able to walk to both. Overall it was a nice stay.

The property is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The backyard is great for entertaining and the hot tub was a huge plus. The hostess was very responsive. Definitely would stay here again and I am pretty particular...this place was worth the money.

We just returned from a wonderful vacation in South Haven. We have been coming for the last 5 years and can honestly say this was the best place at which we have stayed. The location is great, just a few blocks from the Kids Corner Playground and the Beach, a few more blocks from downtown (easily walkable and basically a straight path), and around the corner from a bike trail. It sits in a perfect little culdesac so there was plenty of room for the kids to safely run around. The house is extremely nice and updated with plenty of room for the 8 of us to relax. The host is fantastic, very receptive to questions and provided many little details to make the stay wonderful (extra thankful for bunkbeds and black out shades in the kids rooms!!! The sun sets later than our kids bedtimes and this was an issue for us with other rentals). We would LOVE to stay here again!

We absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. The detail and thoughtfulness were so appreciated. There were games for the kids, coloring paper with crayons, every dish/pan/utensil you can think of, a fun outdoor space complete with an outdoor shower, local coffee stocked, beach chairs to use, and a bag toss game in the garage! The house is so nice and beautifully decorated. Communication with the owner was easy and she was so responsive. We had a small leak in the kitchen faucet during our stay and she had someone out to fix it within hours! We will absolutely be back!

This was one of the best rentals I've stayed in! The house was immaculate. The hot tub was a huge plus - it's cleaned weekly and looks brand new. The house is just a couple blocks from the lake and an easy walk (maybe 15 minutes) to the downtown area. There are fun restaurants, breweries and wineries downtown and several vineyards a quick drive away. It was perfect for our laid back girls weekend but would also be great for a family trip. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
