About this house rental
Location, privacy & charm! This lovely 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath house has just been newly designed and furnished. Close to downtown Lenox, 1.5 miles from Tanglewood, and a 5 minute drive to Kripalu, it's a great spot to enjoy easy access to the arts, unique shopping, cafes, the outdoors, amazing restaurants and world-class events. If you're a skier, Bosquet Mountain Resort is less than 5 miles away, and Butternut and Jiminy Peak are 20 and 30 minute drives, respectively. Then, there's the lakes, hiking, boating, golfing . . . . It's just fun!
The house has beautiful wood floors throughout the main level. A new, well-equipped kitchen (with gas cooktop) opens to the living and dining rooms with comfortable seating for 6. Cozy den, screened-in porch, mud room, half bath and laundry round out the first floor.
Upstairs you'll find a large, master bedroom suite and, across the hall, 2 other bedrooms with a shared bath.
Outside, enjoy cooler evenings at the firepit in the private, fenced-in backyard with forested greenspace beyond the yard. There's also a 2-car garage and plenty of parking.
Designed with family trips in mind, this lovely 2-story residence offers a comfortably furnished interior with all the modern amenities you could need including Wifi and Smart TVs and a prime location to enjoy the attractions throughout the Berkshires!

Clean, updated home in the perfect location. Loved the screens in porch! Holly is a wonderful host and her home is a perfect getaway.

Our family had a lovely time. The home was very comfortable - beds, couches, screened in porch backing up to woods - and was a nice place to be near family who live around the corner. The house is just over a mile away from Lenox, with a sidewalk and a crosswalk for safety when walking across the busy street. Holly responded very quickly and resolved a couple of minor issues (icemaker, keypad malfunction), which was very appreciated! One thing for future guests to keep in mind: the stairs to the 2nd floor (where all bedrooms are) are angled and steep. Our family had no problems, but they could be a little challenging for elderly or small children.

The property is cozy and comfortable
Except for the fact that two chairs one in TV area and one in Primary bedroom had wobbly legs- furniture was comfortable.
The hosts were readily available for any questions and quick to respond.

Nice property about 1 mile outside of the town of Lenox. It was very homey and was conveniently located. I would highly recommend this place!

We were in town for a wedding and it was much cheaper to get a house than a couple hotel rooms for 2 nights. The house was excellent, everything was very clean and the location was great. I would stay again in a second and the owner was very nice and communicated everything we needed to know

The house was comfortable and well-appointed, and the owner was very nice and helpful when the key pad was acting up. My only complaint is that there must’ve been a dog staying there before us, causing my allergies to flare.

Holly is by far the most attentive and thoughtful owner we have ever dealt with. She communicates immediately if you have a question. The house is convenient to Tanglewood and is just on the outskirts of Lenox, with all its restaurants and attractions. Highest recommendation: comfortable, clean, and well-kept.

We so enjoyed this cozy, beautiful, and well-designed home for a blissful month. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the kitchen was modern and well equipped, and the fire pit was a special treat for us! We enjoyed the location in the darling town of Lenox!

This property is a lovely home base for a Berkshires vacation. Clean and comfortable. Nicely appointed. Fabulous screened patio, outdoor grill and fireplace. Close to Lenox by very short drive. Enjoyed dinner in Lenox our first night - we decided to grill and and enjoy our second night in following a day of sightseeing. Outdoor dining and cards after dinner in the screened porch - followed by a nice fire and s’mores was so incredible Highly recommend this property.

This house was perfect for a few friends to get together and relax. Close to downtown shopping/restaurants and a relatively quiet location. Holly was very communicative and helpful with recommendations and questions about the house. Next time we will definitely use the fire pit

The host,, holly berlin, was remarkably agreeable, timely, compassionate, and intelligent. She returned calls within 5 minutes and addressed all issues immediately. Generally, The house was comfortable although on two floors - something I had forgotten. Before leaving, I gave Holly a list of Items that I thought would make the house more comfortable (lounge furniture, etc.) - she thanked me and promised to purchase it all for next summer.
The house is a suburban house and not a country house (that I would have preferred). It is also located too far from lenox (2 miles) so although 5 minutes from tanglewood, I never felt integrated into the town. Actually, there are many pubs, coffee shops, food shops, dress shops etc. in Lenox - none of which I visited!)
If you want a lovely, we’ll furnished house with a pretty setting (although right on a not-too-travelled road, near Lenox and near tanglewood, this is the house for you.

We enjoyed our stay at Holly's very much...it is convenient to Tanglewood, spacious and clean, fully-equipped. The AC units in the bedrooms worked fine, and the downstairs stayed fairly cool during a real heat wave. Holly was exceptional in communicating with us and making sure that we were comfortable. The screened-in porch and new gas grill were a real plus. Will return.

This was a nice home for a family. Close to many attractions and convenient to local routes. Extra kitchen linens would be helpful and a few more staple kitchen cooking items like sheet pans and more cutting boards would help the experience.

Great weekend with friend a variety of activities
Holly's house was our modern, clean, well-equipped and comfortable home base for a visit of the Norman Rockwell Museum, coffee and pastries at Shots and live music the Firefly Gastropub in Lenox (following Holly's great suggestions), and a day of x-country skiing at the Trustees' Notchview site. All highly recommended.

This home was a perfect place for my family of five. My girls shared a bedroom, each with their own bed and my son had his own bedroom. The master bedroom suite was beautifully decorated and the beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities to cook and prepare food. Bathrooms had plenty of towels and necessities. Bedrooms had extra sheets and blankets as well. This house had plenty of space for all of us to spread out. The home is even more beautiful than pictures and is extremely clean. Holly was a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with and very friendly. She knows the area very well and gave us a list of recommendations. All the restaurants that she recommended were fantastic. The house is about a mile from the town with nice shops and plenty of places to eat. There is a ski mountain, Bosquet that is only 8 minutes away. They just built a brand new lodge and put in new ski lifts. My family had a wonderful time skiing/snowboarding there. My 5 year old did 2 days of ski school and ended up getting on a lift for the first time. We will definitely return and recommend this home.
