My husband and I stayed at this sweet cottage along with our 2 year old- and it was the perfect size for a long weekend! The cottage is very family friendly- and includes a pack n play, high chair, gilder chair, and lots of toys! The cottage is on a quiet, dead end street, walking distance to the main shops and restaurants! The only small issue we had (and this was really just due to time of year) was that there is only AC in one of the bedrooms- and it got incredibly hot upstairs since it was a very hot weekend. Hosts were very responsive and happy to bring us more fans. Overall- we had a lovely time and would recommend!

Price was right

The cottage is located within walking distance of town and the local grocery market. The large property surrounding the cottage at the end of a dead end street gave privacy and peace. The cottage is well equipped, clean, quaint, spacious, and located just behind the owners home. The one bathroom is located downstairs, with upstairs bedrooms. The owner respected our privacy and was available for any questions. We'd absolutely stay here again. It'll be our GO-TO destination! Sadly, we didn't see any moose.

Nice place on a dead end residential street. We did drive to downtown simply because of not having to carry packages back to rental, but kids walked back and forth to stores (around 5 minute walk if that). Would/will stay again.

Nice clean little cottage stocked with everything you need. Located right in the heart of town. Great communication and quick response time. Super pleased!

This was a great place to stay in Freeport. We went for Pumpkin Festival and we’re able to walk to the festival as well as many outlets. The cottage was clean and comfortable and well equipped. Maranda was a great host and responded to any questions very quickly.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house had everything we needed and was warm and comfortable. Located in a peaceful neighbourhood, it is in a perfect location to explore the area. We would certainly stay here again if we returned to Freeport.

The location could not have been better. Very close to ll Bean and still in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen could have used more of the bare essentials. Glasses, plates, bowls, blender, broiler pan and cooking utensils. The bathroom is located downstairs and the bedrooms are upstairs. For older people who get up at least once a night, this was a challenge.

We loved staying here. The location was perfect, the neighborhood quiet, and the house lovely. We would absolutely stay here again.

This is a great location, perfect to all Shopping and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood and great and accommodating hostesses. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

If you’re looking to take in the Freeport shops and restaurants, this is a perfect spot to stay. You’re within walking distance of town, yet far enough away to lose the hustle and bustle of the tourists. The unit was clean and spacious! Plus easy parking.

I was pleased to find this rental while searching a mid-coast location. Very clean, quiet and well equipped cottage on a dead end street , walking distance from LLBean and stores on Main st. Comfortable beds, smart tvs, and well equipped kitchen made it a real home feel vacation.

I almost don’t want to tell people about this hidden gem so it is available for me more often! EXCELLENT communication from Maranda. Very quick to respond. Great layout. Just wish it was so friendly so my old Red Lab Eeyore could join me. I will definitely be back!!!
