We enjoyed our stay for three nights. Had a little issue with the alarm when we checked in, and Anthony was very responsive. The kitchen and bathrooms have obviously been updated recently. All were very nice and the living area was comfy. Kitchen has a lot of cabinets and drawers that were mostly empty. We didn't cook, but it seemed sparse. Our main suggestion though was that the bedrooms all have eastern-facing windows and needed heavier curtains and/or extra blinds. The upstairs bedroom especially was too bright for sleeping after the sun came up at 5:00 a.m. As other reviewers noted, the house is right off a busy street. The a/c unit in the upstairs bedroom provided enough white noise, but we definitely noticed the traffic on a weekday morning.

Overall nice place. Kitchen was a little sparse I terms of dishes, utensils, pots/pans. Photos gave a different impression that how the space felt. The second floor restroom layout was very odd/uncomfortable with more than 2 people

Let me start by saying that this is a nice house in a great area. My Family and I did enjoy our stay. However, there are some things that I have to mention. At first, the communication with the host was good, but after the first, and only time that I spoke with him, he literally wouldn’t respond to me at all. I tried contacting him through the app and phone.Kind of surprising after he told me to “please let him know if there are any other issues”. No, I wasn’t being a “Karen”. The first two, and only reasons for contacting him were legit. The first reason I contacted him at first was because the bathroom in the hallway was not cleaned before our arrival. There was hair on the floor and in the bathtub. Used soap on the shelf in the shower. I honestly just wanted to let him know that his cleaning crew was not doing their job. He apologized and offered for the cleaning company to come back out and clean the bathroom, but I declined. He was VERY concerned about me leaving a bad review in which I told him I wasn’t going to do so, but after he decided to ignore me after another issue that came up, I changed my mind in leaving a five star review. After we got off the phone, my family and I could hear that there was a battery that needed to be changed in a smoke detector. We finally figured out the smoke detector making the noise was leading down into the basement. That door is locked so we couldn’t get to the smoke detector. I tried contacting him again to inform him that there was a battery that needed to be changed, and asked him to please have someone change the battery. Didn’t hear back from him. We had left for the day, came back, I noticed that the smoke detector was not beeping anymore. Smoke detectors do not correct themselves. Someone must’ve come in and change the battery. He should have informed me that someone was going to be in the home while we were gone. The ad states that toilet paper is provided (partially true), however, a half of a roll per bathroom is NOT going to last a family for a whole week. So, we had to buy toilet paper. It is expected when renting a property that the dishes are to be put in the dishwasher, and are to be cleaned. There wasn’t dishwasher soap. We had to buy that as well. I understand that we could have washed dishes by hand (IF we had time to do so before leaving) but that isn’t the point. Over all, this is a nice property, just know that it is not well stocked, and the communication with the host is not good.

Nice place...comfy beds, lots of soft towels and nice interior. A few issues... No firewood and propane tank was empty for the grill when we arrived but the host did have some sent to us the next day. We never did get the gas grill working. These are disappointments when you only have a few days to get away with your family.

We loved our stay in Eagan. Very convenient to get to relatives in St. Paul. The home was newly renovated and well equipped with everything we needed. It is on a busy road but even though I'm a light sleeper I got a good nights rest during the entire stay. Anthony was great to work with.

The home is cozy and updated. The outside is wonderful - nature and trees! The home was fast to get to anything we needed in the city but had the nature feel of a perfect home in the country. We really loved the spot and would stay again in a heartbeat.

The property was clean and the open kitchen-living room space was ideal for the family, especially with a baby and toddler. The space was clean and the kitchen modern with a nice center island. A few drawbacks if you are considering this space:
- We had a total of 6 (4 adults, a 1 year old and a 3 year old) but there were only a total of 3 towels for all of us. If you are considering a stay here with more than 3 adults, ask for additional towels or bring your own. We ended up buying towels at Target.
- Be sure to pack soap and shampoo for showers. Not supplied by this property.
- This property does not have central air. Our stay was in July. There was one window air conditioner in the living room and one upstairs. None in the bedroom.
- If you plan to utilize the upstairs bedroom, be aware that the ceilings are very low a slanted. The bedroom does not have nightstands and is positioned partially in front of the window with the air conditioner which blows on the person on that side of the bed. The other side with the slanted ceiling makes it a challenge if you wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and forget the height of the ceiling. You will hit your head. Also, the bathroom is very nice; however, has no privacy since neither the bedroom or bathroom areas have doors for privacy. This wasn't a big issue for us, but just an FYI. With the slanted ceilings, there is a risk of bumping your head upstairs.
- There were dishes in the dishwasher on arrival which we did take care of putting away.
- We did loose power on the last day of our stay for part of the house leaving no wifi, downstairs air conditioning or bathroom lights. We didn't return until the evening from a family get-together and were not able to get the issue resolved that night. Although we finally got a return response to our text, it was after we went to bed.
- The driveway for the property is on a fairly busy street. The house is set far enough off the road so we didn't really have traffic noise except the last night when we opened windows due to lack of air conditioning.
We didn't find much for check out instructions. We followed what we normally do for check out. The location was good for our visit. Outside of a few hiccups, our stay was adequate.

Met our Needs
Some delay in accessing the rental and it could be cleaner with better kitchen equipment (no egg pan, mismatched everything) but host shoveled and let us use the garage with the 15" snowstorm. Wonderful bed pillows and comfy beds. Recommend.

To start, we had to send multiple messages to the owners to get access to the property. Property was dingy and a bit rundown. No one had bothered to empty the dishwasher, so it initially looked like there were no dishes. No soap in any of the showers. No extra blankets for any of the beds, had to borrow extras from our friends.

This property was a great long term rental for our family of four while waiting for our home build to complete. The kitchen was stocked for every day cooking and all the amenities necessary to live were as well. Weekly cleaning was accommodated by the owner. And the best part - the neighbors are friendly and welcoming. A great experience after moving across the country to the midwest.
