We enjoyed our stay. The host was friendly and very responsive. The property was convenient to all things Grand Junction has to offer, while still being away from town. The proximity to the Monument was definitely a bonus!

Our plans changed and we didn’t end up staying at Thomas’ home but we had the opportunity to see the property. It had everything we would have needed for our 4 day stay. Best of all it’s pet friendly 😊

If you are a mountain biker (or hiker), there's not a better place to stay. Easy access to Lunch Loops and a short drive to Loma, 18 Road, Grand Mesa and other amazing riding spots. We loved it!

This property was great, the location was perfect for hiking. It was quiet and clean. Watching the sun rise while enjoying our coffee outside was the best!

We came to ride our sxs. The parking was ample for a truck and trailer. Bangs Canyon trailhead was conveniently located under 30 minutes away. We were only there for 2 nights but the place was comfortable and worked out just perfect for us.

The property has wonderful views of the local landscape and is convenient to hiking, biking, National Monument and the downtown. It is perfect for individuals and pets to access all of the Grand Junction offerings !!! Great place !

Amazing views and very roomy.

Very pleasant stay. Beds were comfy and the place had everything we needed. We didn’t spend a lot of time at this rental and didn’t cook anything, so can’t attest to the amenities, but it seemed to have everything you would need. There is a washer and dryer that worked great. Saw the quail and bunnies a lot and the view of the Monument was awesome. Great location to the Monument, as well as lots of hiking/biking! Downtown was like 8 minutes away too. Safeway was just down the hill. The only negative, if you can call it that, was that the floor creaked a bit when walking around so if you are trying to be quiet, it’s a little hard. Would stay again.

Everything was great

A nice property close to all the great things in Grand Junction. A fully functional duplex with everything you will need. Downtown, Lunch Loops, and the Monument are just mere minutes away.

Tom was great, easy to communicate with. Comfortable furniture and beds. Our dog loved the sunroom so she could watch the rabbits. We all liked the sunroom with spectacular views. I sat on the covered deck as much as I could just to watch the colors change across the terrain, especially early morning with my coffee. The unit was close enough to GJ stores, restaurants and Mesa University (10-15 mins) yet just far enough out of town to feel like you are off the grid. We will check to see if it’s available when we go back to GJ!

This property is in a great location near the monument. The views from the property are really nice. It was quiet and had everything for a very enjoyable long weekend. We plan to be back in the future!

Beautiful views and really convenient for our stay in GJ. House is older but reasonably clean. Beds were great all in all a good deal for a weekend stay.

Stayed 3 nights. Location was excellent for nearby trails, as well as easy access to town (groceries, gas, etc). 🙂
We had our dog with us. She enjoyed the fenced yard.
Owner was very responsive to the one issue we had.
With a little more updating inside would give overall 5 stars.

The property was an amazing home base for the mountain biking we did. It’s close proximity to the Monument was a big plus as well! When we wanted to extent our stay Thomas was a great host and made it happy for us. Would return to this property for another family vacation for sure!

We had two groups stay at the say time [this property has two attached units] which worked out great. Plenty of space for our family of four and the kids loved the bunkbed.
Location was amazing!!! Hike from the unit right out into nature and a connecting trail system. Or drive just a few minutes to the Colorado National Monument.

We rented for the holiday kong weekend and it was amazing. The property is beautiful and spacious, and only a few minutes from town and the National Monument. Highly recommend.

Affordable, spacioius, and right in front of the Colorado National Monument. We will have fond memories of the starts and satellites at night. One shower is ok. A second toilet would be a plus.

We are an active couple in our 50s who can't sit still. This location was perfect for us due to its proximity to walks/hikes/biking trails. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening watching the grouse, other birds, and rabbits behind the property. We even walked down to the creek wash/canyon below the house to scout for cool rocks. The place was very large. We didn't use the 2nd bedroom at all but the main living area(s) are very large. We are not people who expect a super modern up to date place and you can see in the photos that it is not. Photos are true. We wanted location, ability to wander around outside when not out hiking, a kitchen, and bath that were clean and spacious at a fair price. Note - his cleaning price is wayyyy lower than others seen on VRBO. I had almost given up on renting through VRBO because of extra fees for cleaning that were too high along with other fees. Bonus- access to laundry. If our dog could come with us, this would be perfect. We would try to book here first when we come back to this area.

We loved the location of this Vrbo! Close to downtown and many hiking locations. Even with its close proximity to a main road it’s tucked back far enough you don’t hear much traffic unless you are outside. The back yard has picture perfect views/proximity to CO National Monument! The backyard could be super cute if it was spruced up a bit. We also appreciate having a late check-out so we could get one more hike in our last day and shower before heading home! Very clean and nicely decorated. Our only suggestion would be a new bathtub. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this Vrbo!

Met Tom when we checked in. He immediately showed us around and told us about the area. Really enjoyed the mornings having coffee on the back patio looking at the monument and mountain range. Had a couple issues while we were there and Tom came over virtually immediate to correct. Loved where we stayed and would most definetly stay there again. Tom even has a small pond he keeps filled with water to attract wildlife for his guests to see.Great host. Thanks for great stay Tom.

We will rent here again next time we come to Grand Junction/Fruita
Great views surrounding and Lunch Loops bike trails a half mile away.

This was an excellent location for all we wanted to explore in Grand junction and Pallisades. Great views, room to spread out, well stocked with dishes and linens. A little heavy on the plug in air freshener, but that’s just my preference. There was an issue with the access code at first but they promptly called us back and got us into the house. Would definitely stay here again!

Needed a place close to family in the Redlands that was pet friendly. So happy to find this property that allows more than 2 small dogs! So nice to be able to let dogs out in fenced yard and enjoy the open space. The sun room was so roomy and bright. Thanks for a great stay!

This was the second time I have stayed at this property. It’s a great place to stay, clean, well appointed, and beautiful views.

We stayed over thanksgiving. Close to great hiking trials. As described in the listing, it is pet-friendly and that also entails that there’s dog hair on/in the sofa and chairs. The tub and shower curtain could use an upgrade. Other than that, the place is clean and well maintained. It has all the conveniences of a well outfitted apartment worth a couple of car ports, a garage and a fenced-in back yard. The sun room is wonderful and spacious, with a great view of the hills behind. It is directly off a fairly busy road, but it is set back enough that it’s not too bothersome. We would stay there again.

Loved our stay here. The property had a garage with washer/dryer, a fenced yard with a view, super comfy couch and direct access to the Lunch Loop trails.

This was a great location near mountain bike trails but also just a few minutes to town. The place was very clean and spacious. Loved the sunroom and back patio area. We’d stay here again. Thank you!
