Welcome to our home! Our home is located in Silverthorne, approximately a 7 minute drive from highway 70. We have the best views around! The home is perfectly suited for families looking to get away for a ski vacation. There are 4 bedrooms in the house and an office with a pullout couch that has a full mattress. The kitchen is well stocked to cook meals. The master bedroom has a king bed and plenty of space. The master bathroom has double sinks and a lovely tub for soaking. The shower is great too. The main floor has a cozy gas stove that heats the house. On the main floor there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other a trundle bed with two twin beds (perfect for kids!) The bottom floor has a queen murphy bed, a small kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower and a private entrance. The property has parking for 3 cars and is located less than 30 minutes from 5 ski resorts, Copper and Keystone being the closest. Silverthorne is a charming town surrounded by mountains and other lovely towns like Dillon, Frisco, Keystone and Breckenridge.
House Rules:
1. BEFORE BOOKING be aware that THIRD PARTY BOOKINS are PROHIBITED by VRBO. If you are not going to be staying here, you can't make a reservation for anyone else under your personal account.
2. Unregistered guests are a violation of VRBO terms of service. No surprise VISITORS. If you would like to bring a visitor over, let us know in advance so we can authorize it.
3. We highly recommend that our guests obtain traveler's insurance for their trip. This helps to safeguard your trip for any delays, interruptions and cancellations due to weather, COVID or any unforeseen events. Please do your research and make a determination based on your specific travel needs.
4. To maintain a safe and fun environment, there is a STRICT NO PARTYING, NO SMOKING/NO DRUGS policy (including vaping). Be respectful towards the neighbors and keep the noise down, especially between 10pm and 8am.
5. Violation of our no smoking/vaping policy, including the use of marijuana WILL result in a $500 fine and a bad review.
6. If there is a suspicion of smoking of any type in the house it will be treated as a violation of the no smoking/vaping policy and appropriate action will be taken, including additional fees and a bad review. Please consider NOT smoking outside the doors, under the porch, in the garage or by the windows. Please consider not smoking during your stay.
7. Please be respectful! At the end of your stay please put things back the way you found them and leave all areas CLEAN AND TIDY. The booked guests agree to reimburse and/or compensate the host, through the VRBO security deposit for any damages, extra cleaning and/or losses caused at any time during their stay at the property.
8. If traveling in the winter months (November to April), please note that the driveway and roads in town may be snow packed and an adequate 4wd car or 2wd car with snow tires may be necessary to navigate the area. We have a snow removal company that comes and plows the driveway when it snows 3 or more inches. Snow removal by the guests will be necessary on the stairs, walkways and at the bottom of the driveway when the town plow comes by. Please be prepared!
9. As per town and county ordinance, no fires are allowed ANYWHERE on the property including the deck and yard.
10. Late check out can sometimes be provided, but please inquire in advance. If you arrive earlier than your check in time, without the host's permission, you will be charged overstay fees. If we can accommodate, there will be an additional charge of $75.
11. The property has a video camera placed outside the garage door. The camera is motion-activated and passive surveillance footage remains private and may be used for liability reasons and to monitor occupancy, weather and other policies noted here. If does not infringe upon the expectation of privacy in highly visible areas of the property. To disable or obscure the camera is prohibited and may result in cancellation of your reservation.
12. Guests may not receive mail or packages at the house or give the address to any companies or in any way communicate that it is their residence without the express written consent from the host. Any unauthorized mail will be returned to sender. Guests cannot register or hold business meetings on the property without the express written consent and authorization from the host.
13. If you have a complaint about the property, maintenance or cleaning, you are granting us permission to enter the property to address the issue. We will coordinate with you a good time to come over.
14. Noncompliance of these house rules may result in cancellation of your reservation, forfeiture of your security deposit, eviction from the premises and possibly other additional fees and penalties. By booking this space, you agree that you have read and acknowledged these house rules, and you give your consent that you will abide by them!

Brian is a fantastic host and super responsive to any of our questions. His property is a rare gem in the area. It has a unique layout with plenty of sleeping options, and the owner has put some thought into the decorations, creating a homey vibe. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals during our stay. I want to add a little background here. People who travel with similar needs may find this helpful. My family of three (40M, 35F, and 4yr boy) has constantly traveled to Colorado and Utah skiing with three to four families multiple times per winter. We started doing this in college, so we’ve had some experience staying at a VRBO property. Now, couples have grown into families with young kids at similar ages. The house was so child-friendly for our young children to play and bond with each other during the precious time we could travel together from all around the states. This magical property was not only a five-day stay for us but also a magical place to build new memories. The instruction was also well-written and straightforward, making our check-in check-out process a breeze. Book it when it is available. I know we will make that decision again.

The property was really great for a ski trip. We enjoyed the place very much. It’s clean, cozy, spacious, and equipped with all necessities. Brian has also kindly leave us a few humidifiers, which were absolutely a life saver for someone who like me growing up in a tropical region. Would 100% recommend to others :)

Best VRBO we have been to!
We travel many times during the ski season -- this by far is the best VRBO we have stayed in. Being a stand alone home, it had all we needed for our family of five. The house was nicely updated and immaculate! The kitchen was stocked for what we needed to cook breakfasts and dinners. The location was convenient to order groceries from Target, City Market, or SafeWay and plenty of shopping opportunities after a day on the hill. We skied A Basin, Copper, Winter Park and Steamboat during our trip. We cannot thank you enough, Brian, for sharing your home with us and we hope to come back again for another ski trip to CO!
