About this house rental
This lovely, spacious, three level, 5 bedroom home sits on a lush 3+ acre property close to Mast General Store in Valle Crucis. Extremely convenient access to Boone, Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, Banner Elk, and Beech Mountain. No need for four-wheel drive, even in the winter.
The large outdoor terraces feature a massive outdoor fireplace and a 90-jet hot tub. All five bedrooms have Smart TV's (large, new ones!). Upstairs, the spacious master suite has a king size four-poster bed, gas-log fireplace, a garden tub, and shower. A plush queen bedroom is also upstairs. Downstairs, two more bedrooms feature King Beds, and a third bedroom has a queen bed plus a solid bunk bed. **ALL beds, including bunk beds, have thick, new, high-quality mattresses. You'll have great sleep. The roomy kitchen has two refrigerators and seating for 14. There are four distinct living areas, including a comfortable upstairs living room, a large downstairs den with a gas log fireplace, a bright, hexagonal Florida room with pretty views, and a well-furnished, 500 sq ft play room featuring a pool table. This house is so much better than a cramped log cabin on a steep hill. There is plenty of space for multiple vehicles, plenty of room for adults and kids to play inside or out, surrounded by beautiful trees, mountain scenery, and frequent visits by deer that live in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay! Wish we could have stayed longer. The house had plenty of space for our group of 12. We never felt on top of each other and we never ran out of hot water! The home was clean and pictures and description were great! Check in was so simple and we never ran into any issues! can’t recommend this place enough. Such a beautiful home and nice spacious layout for a group!

We were blessed to enjoy the snow. The driveway was prefect for playing. The home was prect for the 4 families. We all arrive safely during the snow storm. We were thrilled to to get stuck at the top of a mountain. We would love to stay here again. Beautiful home.

From check in to check out, my family raved about this house! It was spacious and roomy, the kitchen was very well stocked, there was ample dining and lounging areas for our group of 11. The hot tub was a hit ! We so enjoyed our time there.

This was my Christmas gift for my children. My husband passed away a couple of years ago so we needed just to have time to be together. This house was a wonderful time for the 15 of us just to love on each other.

We had a group of 16 (8 adults and 8 children), and this house was perfect for us. It's spacious, clean, and fairly close to most everything you want to do.

We would absolutely recommend this house to anyone! We had a family vacation with 13 guests. There was plenty of space for everyone. Sitting in the hot tub with the fire going was a great experience. The outdoor area was great and we all loved seeing deer go through the yard each evening. The kids enjoyed playing pool and exploring the property. The house was very clean and every creature comfort was thought of. The beds felt like sleeping on a cloud and even the towels smelled so good. The owners were responsive, easy to get in touch with and very helpful. We were not wanting for anything in this house. Must go to the General Mast store. This house is very close to both Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain. We went skiing, tubing, panning for gold and on the Alpine Coaster.

Great place for a family getaway. We had 13 people and there was plenty of room. Well stocked kitchen, great internet service, hosts were easy to communicate with. Loved that it’s not on the side of a mountain and plenty of room for kids to play outside and inside. Quiet area easy access to snow tubing and shopping. Not far from town. Would definitely go back and stay again!!

Large Home with Lots of Ammenities & Parking. We loved our stay. Jacuzzi was already on and heated which was a nice touch. Beds were comfortable and pool table in the downstairs game room was a hit for our family.

This house was everything we imagined and more! We had three adult couples, a grandmother, and six children ages 3-9yo. Plenty of space, we used the hot tub and fireplace A LOT. Perfect distance away from slopes and snow tubing. Can’t recommend enough!

Loved the property as it is in one of our favorite communities to visit, Valle Crusis! Our family of 14 fit within the accommodations wonderfully, we all enjoyed seeing the deer and wild turkeys in the back yard, one of the cleanest properties we’ve stayed, and was centrally located to all the places we visit (including the Wooly Worm Festival)!

We spent a wonderful week at this house with our adult children, their spouses, and our 8 grandchildren. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, and appliances, which we really appreciated, as we cooked most of our meals at the house. The grandchildren loved watching for deer in the yard, and we saw some every day! Valle Crucis Comminity Park is a 5-minute drive from the house and has a great playground, nice paved walking trail, and fabulous tree-trunk carvings of birds and animals. The park is right on the river, which is shallow enough to wade in, and the adults and children enjoyed doing so. There is so much to do in this area that makes this house a great location for a family get-away.

Ski Weekend
The property was perfect for our large group. Everyone had their own space for sleeping and there was plenty of room to gather and enjoy meals together. The kids really enjoyed being able to have space to themselves and claimed the lower level as their "game room". The location of this property was perfect for us to ski at Beech or Sugar. It is also incredibly convenient to enjoy the restaurants in Banner Elk and for a day of tubing. We would absolutely recommend this house to others.

Booked the home for Thanksgiving Holiday and found the house perfect for the 12 family members . 2 refrigerators were awesome!!
Bedding was nice and tons of towels too!
The tankless water heater was key for all the long hot showers and dishwashing!!
Location for great to Boone’s, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock etc. Grocery runs were easy too! Ingles and Publix are close by.
I would only advise a few more kitchen items… serving trays for larger groups and multi use bowls for chips and popcorn.
We had to grab a few extra chars from some of the other rooms so we could all sit at the large kitchen table, so a few folding chairs might be good too.
But all and all we Had a wonderful time and fun exploring the area:)

Incredible Stay
Great location and incredible house. My family and I stayed for a long weekend and had a great time. There's six of us all together and everyone had there own space...the house is even bigger than the pictures show. We could have easily fit another family or two and still had plenty of room. House includes everything you could need and host is very responsive. While there we visited Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mnt...and the location was perfect. If you have a large group and are looking for a great place...don't hesitate booking this house.
