Stayed here for our daughter’s graduation from Loyola. Was about .7 miles from campus, so it is walkable. Cute house in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking in front of the house.

Grandparents celebrating grandson’s grad from high school. The VRBO was perfect. All the comforts of home. Close to family and multiple conveniences and activities.

House was perfect for our party of 5 adults (two couples and 1 single). Plenty of room for all of us and easily could’ve accommodated another adult. So wonderful having two full bathrooms and street parking was always easy all 3 days we stayed there. Always had a spot directly in front of the house. The house has beautiful woodwork and the kitchen was well stocked…with coffee and tea provided! The host generously let us check in a bit early which was very helpful. Neighborhood was terrific and an easy drive for everything we were doing. Will definitely stay again when coming back to the Twin Cities!

The house was very clean and comfortable. The manager responded quickly to a few questions we had. Onsite laundry, updated bathrooms (spacious shower on main floor). The living/dining area is spacious. The neighborhood is safe, charming, quiet, a few blocks from St. Thomas, and easy to get to other local campuses and around the Cities. Also just a few blocks from historic Summit Avenue. It snowed while we were in town, and the sidewalk was promptly shoveled (and there were shovels available in case we needed to do it ourselves). We hope to stay here next time we're in St. Paul!

We enjoyed our stay at Beanhouse. It was clean and comfortable. We toured Macalester College and loved the house and the neighborhood. Well definitely stay again.

Here for thanksgiving weekend with my two teenagers, one of whom is a student at Macalaster. Michael is a very responsive host and the house is absolutely as described/shown in the listing. Fully kitted out and so comfortable. It’s convenient to lots of activities in the area. The Mississippi River Blvd Parkway is about a mile away and a great walk or run from the house. Macalaster, St Thomas and UMinnesota are all within minutes. Will definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

The property was very clean and well maintained but it is a bit quirky ie odd placements of outlets etc. That part is not "bad" just odd. The other thing is the lack of curtains in key areas. It felt like the "neighbors" were watching us 24/7. When we arrived one neighbor literally stood at the door and STARED the entire time we took our belongings inside. Kinda creepy. - correction VERY creepy. The downstairs bathroom has a GLASS door, which faces the "neighbors" back door which is also GLASS. so basically the neighbor could watch n see whenever anyone showers or uses the toilet. This bathroom is in an area of the house that has windows all around. I ended up having to throw a blanket over the glass door to use the toilet or shower in privacy. For the love of all that is holy - get some curtains for every single window facing the WEIRD AF neighbors. And for God's sake - get a solid door for the downstairs bathroom. Nobody wants to put on a peep show for the "neighbors".

Beanhouse was perfect for our girls get together week. The house was clean and well furnished. We especially enjoyed visiting with Michael, he is very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again and recommend the house to someone looking for a safe neighbor, close to Grand Ave, Como Park, downtown St Paul, and light rail.

Well kept and refurbished older St Paul home, with nice woodwork and decor, in nice neighborhood convenient to local businesses and easy access via foot or car. A nice touch is kitchen and bath consumables and coffee, grinder and coffee maker. Good washer and dryer. Helpful owner. Street parking only but city prevented parking one day due to street cleaning. Stairs are a little steep as typical in older homes and can be a little tricky for seniors.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights. It was very clean, everything worked great and Michael was very responsive and the check in/check out process was simple. In our experience of exploring both Minneapolis and St. Paul, I would say this neighborhood was the nicest we saw. Very safe and walkable. Quick walks to coffee shops/restaurants and a quick walk to some nice paths along the Mississippi River. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Super cute....well stocked house
We absolutely loved this place. Quaint, clean and well stocked.. (only comment - was in need of a guest book and maybe a board game or two)
Comfortable - amazing location - close to small shops and easy access to St. Paul and Minneapolis - if you like old buildings and amazing architecture - this is the neighborhood. Host had some great food recommendations and was easily accessible. (Make sure to set some time aside for the antique mall on the corner - you will not be disappointed - don't forget to go down into the basement!) Highly recommend...

Lovely home
My parents, husband and baby recently stayed in this house, and it was the perfect size for us. It was very clean, which was important to us with our baby crawling around. The house had all the amenities we needed, and being able to do a load of laundry was very helpful. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in town visiting.

Great location and house
Our stay at the Beanhouse made our visit to St. Paul so easy and comfortable. Located on a lovely tree-lined neighborhood within walking distance to hidden coffee shops, eateries and unique shops, it was the perfect location for our Macalester College graduation activities. We enjoyed the open spaces in the house and out front, and it came with everything we needed for our long weekend away. I really appreciated the host's responsiveness to our inquiries, and the house was super clean, light, comfortable and modern.

Nice home for adults in Union Park neighborhood
Home matches vrbo listing and photos. Convenient location and good neighborhood. Host steve was great with communication prior to, during and after our stay. Have already recommended this home to family who may need a place for out of town guests.

Very clean and open
The house was a great combination of old bones and modern decor. Tons of windows to allow for natural light throughout the rooms. Owner was very welcoming and responsive. Great location while visiting our son at the University of Minnesota - close to campus, shops and plenty to do. We will be back!
