This property is by far the best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in! The location is perfect to enjoy all of whidbey Island and is literally 1 minute from the ferry terminal. While the ferry terminal is very near the property there was almost no noise from the ferry’s themselves. The location is overall very quiet and we loved watching the seals swim around every morning and evening. Almost nobody on the beach except for a local every now and then out for a walk. The house itself is beautiful! The decor is so thoughtful, beds were comfortable, and they had all the basics you would need i.e. shampoo, conditioner, body wash, seasonings, condiments etc. The wraparound porch, picnic tables, gas fire pit and yard allow you to enjoy the beautiful view. We have an almost 6 year old and 2 year old and the house itself is very kid friendly with a pack and play! There are kayaks and standup paddleboard‘s along with lifejackets to enjoy the water!! Amazing to have this as part of the rental. Brooke was so responsive! We asked her at the last minute if we could stay for one additional night and without hesitation she said yes! Can’t thank her enough for the hospitality, amazing property and willingness to work with us at the last minute. We are already going to book for an entire week next summer!

We had an idyllic stay at Ferry Cove. The house is absolutely darling, full of chic modern amenities with whimsical “camp” touched that made it a warm and fun home base. We spent each morning sipping coffee and watching the harbor seals bobbing and playing curiously in the water in front of the house, and had a couple visits from a bald eagle nesting nearby. The location is VERY convenient to exploring the south side of the island and of course to the ferry. We worried the ferry might be loud or intrusive, but it truly didn’t bother us at all. We grilled on the deck, sat around the fire pit at night, and enjoyed driving around the island and visiting the beaches and the town of Langley. Overall, a beautiful short stay with friends - we wish we could have stayed longer! Brooke was communicative and helpful. We would love to return for another stay the next time we’re on the West Coast!

It’s a beautiful setting with excellent beach access and very close to the ferry. I love the fact there was an EV plug-in available.

Our family wasn't checked into this property 20 minutes before I pulled out my phone and reserved it again for next year! The house itself was immaculately remodeled, attention to detail and quality was amazing; best I have ever seen at a rental property and I've been to A LOT! Comfortable, clean, natural light throughout. The property was equally as enjoyable and very obviously loved and taken care of. Hammock was the best, sandy beach was 30 ft from the beautiful lawn and the gas fire pit was so nice at night!! Hosts were so accommodating and responsive. Cannot rave enough! I would note- restaurants and food service on the island are pretty unreliable, we had to switch to eating out a night or two to cooking in but no worries...kitchen, deck and dining room were perfect for our BBQs and meals. 10/10 for Ferry Cove!!

My family and I had a wonderful experience at this beach house on Whidbey Island. The home was extremely clean and in a great shape. We loved spending time on the waterfront, including hanging out around the fire pit and playing spikeball. While the Clinton ferry is very close by, we didn't really hear it and it didn't bother us. The owner communicated easy to follow check in and check out instructions. We'd definitely recommend staying here. Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful property.

We stayed for a week and did not want to leave. This property is THAT special. We found it exactly as described and just as pictured. It was charming, fun, comfortable, relaxing, and well appointed. We especially loved the dining room and beverage bar area, where we played games and left messages for each other and documented our activities on the chalkboard. We had fun using the intercom, outdoor dinner bell, hammock, and fire pit. The framed SmartTV that looked like art was something else! So neat. The extra touches and decor were so appreciated and not lost on us. We loved everything about the house, even down to the hidden message written inside the upstairs desk drawer. This house should be featured in Sunset Magazine. It’s just that special and we will always remember our time here fondly. The location is incredible. The views of the Possesion Sound, Hat Island, and Mt. Baker are breathtaking. We spent hours upon happy hours beach combing up and down the cove’s beach. We never saw anyone else on the beach, except for some regular visits from the deer, sea lions, egrets, and bald eagles. When not exploring the beach, or other parts of the island, we loved watching the ferries come and go and were surprised by how quiet they were. They were magical at night, all twinkly out on the water. It truly was like a dream. Dream house. Dream setting. Dream adventures. Brooke was wonderful to work with. She was very responsive to my questions and she allowed us to check in early. We are so grateful to her and her husband for creating and offering us their little slice of Heaven on Earth.

This house is one of the best rentals I’ve stayed at. They have thought of everything you might need and I just can’t say enough good things. I will definitely be planning on going back.

The location is just as advertised- private, beach, sets from the ferry, just amazing!!!!! The house is beautifully decorated! A lot of vacation rentals can feel dated but this house was beautiful and fun, cute. It also had all the amenities I could ask for. The people- super responsive offered us an early check in and late check out. Greeted with a super yummy chocolate and welcome card! Very nice touch. Super responsive! We had our little family with us with litt kiddos the loved loved the beach, we made s’mores had a movie night it was perfection! Could not ask for more!!

My wife and I stayed here 3 nights with our 6 month old son. The house and property are incredibly beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. Brooke was a great host, she got a pack n play for the property so that we didn't have to bring one. She was very helpful and responded quickly to all of our questions. We were happy to have rented from her and would definitely do it again!

We loved our stay at Ferry Cove! The location is great - the house is privately located at the end of a quiet driveway, and the view from the house and the deck is a majestic vista of mountains and sea. You can see a ways down the beach from the house - perfect for young teens who wanted to walk down the beach on their own. They also *loved* the tree swing out front! The inside of the house is impeccable. Beautifully themed decor, very clean, and the king beds are very comfortable. We all loved the beverage bar in the dining room. Well-appointed kitchen and high end appliances! Brooke was great to work with and had the house in ship-shape when we arrived. We’ll be back!

I had a girls weekend at this property and from when we booked it to our entire time, we were so well cared for! The property manager was attentive and so helpful with any questions I had and responded quickly. The house was adorable and you can tell someone spent time making it a comfortable home with all the little details that were there. The appliances are all top of the line and clean! The house was well equipped with anything we needed. The views from each room are breathtaking! I loved waking up to the view of the water and incredible sunrise right in front of me! I can’t wait to stay here again!

My husband, two kids and I spent a weekend at this house, and it was a fantastic experience! The host is very gracious...we were originally set to go out Friday and return Sunday, and the host asked us to stay a few extra hours on Sunday to enjoy the place which was super nice. But, even more generous was when we were not able to go out on Friday due to a personal reason and needed to go on Saturday and had planned on just staying the night, she asked us to stay till Monday! How special is that? 1) The place itself is very charming and immaculately maintained. It has great privacy at the end of the lane and had gorgeous views of the water! The beach is quite private and had only a few people walking or jogging. We even saw a seal or sea otter (couldn't tell!) in the evening! My daughter really enjoyed collecting large shells. 2) The location next to the ferry is so convenient and fun! We enjoyed watching the ferries come and go all day, but they are super quiet. 3) The one neighbor before the house (not very close) is friendly and has a funny, curious dog that came to play with us! 4) The hosts have thought about every detail you can imagine - the most thoughtful of all to us was that the terrific and large deck is fully gated - if you have kids or dogs, you will really appreciate this! It was so relaxing for us! The host left candy cane and chocolate with a note; a cafe area fully stocked that was so fun to have and she even left half and half milk in the fridge for us; so many mugs and any kind of kitchenware you would need; lots of extra warm blankets; even a set of rain boots and a rain jacket that we didn't need to use - I'm sure I'm not remembering everything but there was hardly anything we were looking for! 5) Views out of the kitchen, dining and living room and upstairs bedroom are so beautiful and we miss them! 6) Great wifi, heat 7) One thing that surprised me was that we couldn't find a Grubhub or another food delivery service that would deliver food to us; we went totally unprepared because we just assumed we would order in! We ended up driving to Langley just a few minutes away and picking up pizza at this place called Village Pizzeria I think which was delicious. We got enough for dinner and to take us through the next day. In the future, we will take dinner and breakfast with us! All in all, we loved the house, privacy, deck, views, beach, and had such a relaxing time! The host is terrific. And, we will return for sure!

Ferry Cove was truly an amazing experience. My wife and I spent the weekend here to get away from our crazy lives. Everything about this home was PERFECT. We loved the fireplace and being able to sit on the couch with the fireplace on and watch the ferries come and go. The master bedroom over looked the water and you could also watch the ferries come and go from bed. The deck was a stone’s throw from the water such that you could hear the lapping of the waves all night long. The furniture was well thought out and the kitchen was well stocked! We CANNOT wait to come back for a longer period of time. Fall was a wonderful time to go as the trees around the house were changing and the home was cozy.

Ferry Cove is the most idyllic, dreamy, pristine property. The owners did not miss a single detail and in fact went above and beyond in their accommodations. Let’s start with the outside. The yard and the garden are in mint condition and would inspire any magazine feature. Beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the Puget Sound, fire pit, paddle boards, yard games, and every amenity you could think of and more. We loved cozying up to the wood crackling fire playing cards inside, as the rain came down one night. There are great board games, puzzles and so much for indoor fun. The kitchen was fabulous with a fantastic induction stove which made cooking very efficient. All new appliances which is also a bonus. The rooms were done with every intentional thought, wallpaper, was beautiful and decorated perfectly. Newly renovated bathrooms with no detail missed, bedding towels all very high quality. We just loved the theme of the house, it was creative and yet classy and cozy in every way. The owners were kind, gracious, and so very accommodating. We loved that it was right off the ferry, and a quick drive to Langley and a few other fun island spots. We cannot wait to come back to Ferry Cove. This is a place where beautiful memories will be made. We highly recommend!

This place is magical! From the location to every thoughtful detail in the design and layout of the home and property, I can't think of a better spot for being refreshed and inspired. My business partners and I used it for a quick offsite strategy retreat and it suited our needs perfectly. Convenient from Seattle/Bellevue, the property is walkable from Clinton/Whidbey Island ferry terminal. The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive. Can't wait until the next time I can visit ; whether another business retreat or a great spot to get away as a family!
