About this house rental
KAYAK with the dolphins and manatees! Welcome to paradise and your own mini resort tropical oasis. Centrally located in the Tampa Bay Area, you are in the perfect location for all things Florida. Lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bath home canal front home is the perfect mix of fun and relaxation decorated in a tropical coastal vibe. The home features separate living and dining areas and a family room with a fireplace. There are Roku TV's in the family room, two bedrooms and one on the lanai so you can watch the big game while floating in the HEATED pool! The fully equipped kitchen features granite counters, stainless appliances and also overlooks the pool and out to the water. Or you can cook out on the gas grill. Out by the pool on the screened lanai are several more sitting areas, perfect for a morning cup of coffee or evening libations around the fire pit. You will also have plenty of options for "game night" as there is a pool table, corn hole, dart board, foosball and numerous board games.
While enjoying the sunshine, we have 4 kayaks for your use. 3 are single riders and 1 is a tandem style. There are pool floats a plenty. There are fishing poles and a basic tackle box if you want to try and catch dinner and if you fancy a bike ride down to the public beach, there are bikes in the garage along with beach chairs and some beach toys.
Want to bring your boat? We have a 10,000 lift and room to park your trailer. Currently the boat lift cover is gone from Hurricane Helene but we are going to replace.

This was our second time spending a month-long winter getaway at this property. Everything was just as promised and did not disappoint. The house is very comfortable and well-appointed (and lovingly decorated) with everything you could possibly need or want. Barbara and Dan are excellent hosts, and are quick to respond to any questions. The location in a quiet neighbourhood on the water is perfect, and the huge screened lanai and pool area is an amazing space. During our daily kayak outings we saw dolphins and manatees, and even had dolphins visit us at the dock a couple of times.
Our family pup was made to feel welcome and loved the pool area and fenced backyard.

We stayed during the holidays and the house was decorated with Christmas decorations. Everything is available in the house and we had a fantastic time. Nice restaurant and bars nearby, you can fish on the dock and rent a boat locally.

This was our first time renting a property in this area. No doubt that we will rent this home again. Barbara was very easy to communicate with and responded promptly when we had questions. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. The home was very comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked if you wanted to cook meals. The outdoor area was very nice. Loved the screened in patio area with the pool. All sorts of activities for families to enjoy. The attention to detail to make our stay enjoyable was very much appreciated. House was clean and exactly as presented. Super hot in August, even the pool was quite hot. We were centrally located between Tampa, Clearwater, Anna Maria, and Siesta Key. Expect to drive 45min-1hour to any of those places. Nice to have access to chairs and coolers to use on beach trips. Very good selection of restaurants and bars close by. Neighborhood is super quiet and nice.

We had a few issues not related to the property, just lack of experience (boat lift) and the heated pool so I messaged Barbara and she messaged me back within minutes. This beautiful home was everything that was promised and then some. It is located on the water in a quiet, friendly residential neighbourhood, just a short drive to all that Apollo Beach has to offer. It features a heated pool surrounded by a lanai that offers sun and shade throughout the day. The house is well maintained, very clean, and equipped with everything guests would need for a stay of any length. Just imagine sitting on your own dock or taking a kayak for a paddle and watching dolphins and manatees swim by.

The house was beautiful, and we felt at home from the very minute we walked through the doors. We lacked nothing the entire time. The kitchen is beautiful, and has everything needed for cooking and baking. The kayaks were fun and fishing off the dock was great for catching some catfish. The pool was simply amazing - even to hang out in and catch up on tV shows with the outdoor tv. We are very, very grateful you were so accommodating on our extending our stay. We both really enjoyed our stay. Good communication with the owners. House had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed being outside swimming, kayaking and using the BBQ. We like how the switches were labeled and they left great instructions with information about the area. It was hard to leave and we definitely want to come back!

Excellent. Everything you could ask for plus 100x’s more. They thought of everything you would need. Even filled pool fridge with water. Who thinks of that? Barbara that’s who. Did I mention every remote, every light switch, every ceiling fan is all labeled. So accommodating, so courteous, so nice . I searched and searched a lot of places and last minute went with this property. Best decision I ever made. We took advantage of everything in the house and had a blast. Can’t wait to next rental.

We loved our place! The hosts thought of every detail from included beach chairs, Kayaks, beach towels, phone chargers, inflater for pool floats! Lots of stuff to do at the house. Thanks for a great vacation. Our 21 and 16 year old had a blast.

The host thought of everything. My four teens had plenty to keep them entertained and the kitchen was equipped with everything needed to make dinner. (We have actually had to purchase a decent pan in other/lesser properties) The beds are comfortable and the light switches are labeled. Loved fishing, kayaking, swimming, and playing pool. Circles was our favorite restaurant. Tampa isn't far and we made a trip to Anna Maria beach.(45 min away)

There were several of us meeting to celebrate my youngest sister's birthday and have a nice relaxing get-away. We definitely found it! What a wonderful place to stay. We usually head to Naples to visit, but decided to try something different this year. Would consider doing this again.

We had an awesome time! Lots of space inside and outside for a family of 5. Kids loved the pool and its water toys, pool table, darts, etc - lots to keep themselves busy. Took the kayaks out a couple of times - some beautiful scenery close by! Quiet residential neighborhood with an excellent waterfront restaurant a short drive away. Did a couple of day trip to St Pete's and Clearwater.

Hostess with the mostess
Barbara was the absolute perfect host! She has literally thought of everything! Pack a suitcase, you will need nothing else! The kitchen is fully stocked including a mixer and a blender; so you can bake a cake and wash it down with a margarita:)

We had wonderful time kayaking, fishing from the dock, and enjoyed the heated pool. Barbara was very responsive and helpful during our stay. The house was furnished with everything that we needed. The green fishing light off the dock provides great night fishing. We caught snook, black drum, and whiting. If you enjoy kayaking, make sure to go out to the bay and there is a large flat that you can wade around and look for shells, dolphins, and manatees. We would definitely recommend this property!
