Has nice appliances and everything needed. Plenty towels! Everything worked as stated. Finding the laundry key was a small challenge but not a big problem. 😂 For future renters: The “lock box” is inside the fulll-length cabinet in hall—just to the right of bathroom. Is Small—abt 4”x3” and black, mounted about eye level level on the left wall of closet. Parked in front on the street because of the sap from oak tree falling on the car and having to have it washed before returning. May be a seasonal thing. Remember it is a very old house so has creaks and mild musty smells. Also, the roof has been crushed in the front and sounded like animals at night running in the attic and on roof. Maybe in walls. As long as they stayed out of the house (as they did) it was fine. Overall nice stay with no big problems. Had a very pleasant 2-week stay!

Great Grandaddy's Oak was a walk down memory lane. Very well kept property in a very convenient location for our Paso family to visit and enjoy with us while we were there. The huge oak provided a backdrop for some cool pics. The house is neat, clean and decorated with timeless decor. I will try to rent it again when I'm back in town for an extended stay.

Clean, cozy and comfortable. Homey feel. The only issue we had was accessing the laundry room to wash the towels. Door was locked, did not see key anywhere.

My family and I just returned from granddaddy‘s oak, a cozy, clean and comfortable home located just outside of downtown Paso Robles. The house was well-maintained, had everything we needed, and we had a very nice stay here. if we ever return to the area, I would rebook this property, and would recommend that anyone else do the same.

I stayed for 3 nights with my daughter and granddaughter. We were in town for a family reunion. Having a kitchen was really convenient for breakfasts in and late night snacks. The mattresses were extremely comfortable. I almost took the bed apart to see what the brand was!
Spotlessly clean and every room was comfortable. And the tree - it was amazing. I have to confess that I went to the site because of the tree and then rented it without looking at any others.

We were in Paso Robles for a concert and Father’s Day. The home is nice and cozy. The beds are comfortable. And the air conditioning is appreciated. I like to cook and the kitchen was well stocked. The only downside to this property is there is no dishwasher.

This house is the best! Wonderful location close to the cute Paso Robles downtown, convenient shopping centers, and the freeway. Very comfortable beds, huge couch and TV, solid kitchen with lots of appliances, and so many nice touches with the little things that make your stay so nice. We loved it and loved getting to know the area.

This home was well equipped and sparkling clean. It was too cold to use the private and large backyard but we were very comfortable inside. We enjoyed cooking in the cute little kitchen, which had everything we needed in it. The bed was very comfortable and it was handy to be able to keep up on the laundry. We will be back!

we were so grateful for the availability of this property. we originally had planned a stay at a local hotel/motel that was undergoing construction. the noise was not very conducive to relaxing so canceled our time there and came to this nice cozy home.

A great weekend in my hometown
This was a great spot for a weekend in Paso. I grew up in Paso Robles and my husband and I came to visit family and friends for the weekend. This place was perfect, just what we needed. Easy walkable distance to downtown and less then a block away from a great long time Paso breakfast spot, Joe's Place. The kitchen is well equipped and the outdoor grill worked great. Loved that they had a Kuereg coffee machine with reusable pods and a regular coffee machine with everything provided. The beautiful oak tree in the backyard provided perfect shade in the afternoon. The living room has a big comfortable couch and spacious bedrooms. Very clean and well maintained. We would definitely love to stay at Great Grandaddy's Oak Tree again!

Great Location and Very Homey
My Son, Daughter in Law, with an 18 month old, and myself rented this to attend a family party in Paso. I wanted my "kids" to be able to leave the baby with me and enjoy the nite life. This property made it easy. Thank you for keeping such a "Homey Place".
