Come to the mountains and fall in love with Bear's Den! We promise you won't want to leave this cozy cabin in the woods! Located not far from Unicoi State Park, this 2 bedroom, (Plus Loft) 2 bath cabin is ideal for a couple or small family.

If you can pull yourself away from soaking in the hot tub, or sitting around the outdoor fire pit, the area has an unlimited number of attractions. Visit downtown Helen and enjoy shopping in the one of a kind stores or try out one of the many delicious restaurants Helen has to offer. Play a game of mini golf or grab some ice cream! In the summer, you can tube on the Chattahoochee or spend the day at the Helen Waterpark.

If you love the outdoors, then choose your activity: horseback riding at Sunburst Stables, hiking one of the numerous trails in the area, fishing, boating, or swimming. There is surely something for everyone!

Don't limit yourself to visiting Helen in the summer months. Come & enjoy the beautiful colors of fall in the mountains, hike and see the splendor of Anna Ruby Falls or enjoy Helen's annual Oktoberfest, when you can sample German foods and beers. Visit during the Christmas season and delight your senses with an experience of Helen's winter wonderland with lights, music, and hot chocolate!

We had a wonderful stay at Bear Creek Cabin! It was a beautiful cabin and we loved the hot tub! Helen was a cute little town and we were surprised to see it was still all decorated for Christmas!! We will definitely return soon!

This place was very clean and quaint. So cute decorated for the holidays. It had every amenity to make your stay comfortable. Great location close to Helen and several falls for hiking. Sit back and enjoy a night hanging in the hot tub or relaxing by the fire pit. Highly recommend.

This was a beautiful tucked away cabin in the mountains that was perfect for our small family. The hot tub was a much needed amenity after long hikes during the day. It was a short drive from Helen and most of the surrounding water falls so it was a perfect location! Will definitely go back and highly recommend!

This cabin was really nice. Very quiet and private, yet close to town and all the hot spots. The cabin could use some light updates and localized cleaning. The bedding was kind of worn out with holes in the bedspread. The shower curtains also. Some of the dishes and utensils were dirty so we just washed everything before use. Updating the kitchen utensils, cookware, etc., and maybe some new throw pillows for the couches would be nice as well. There were no extra towels for the hot tub, no chairs for sitting on the screened porch during game play, and no little throw blankets for sitting on the couch. Aside from those few little nice-to-haves, we really enjoyed our stay and the cabin. Thank you for having us!

Cabin was very clean and mostly comfortable. Host was friendly and when we had an issue, handled it quickly and called back to make sure everything was okay. The things that would have made this a 5 star cabin were; higher toilets, better bedding (one bed was extremely hard), and better cookware. Overall, cabin was very nice.

Overall, our experience at the Bears Den was fantastic. Our only “complaint” is that the kitchen utensils and cookware were very out of date and had had their share of wear and tear. We burnt food due to the pans all being uneven. The oven took about 35 mins to heat, which was unexpected. Other than the kitchen, the property was great! Exactly as advertised and easy to get in touch with property management. Would definitely come back!

The cabin was exactly as advertised. Great location - close enough proximity to town for ease/convenience, while being far enough away to feel comfortably private / remote in the mountains. Outdoor area was a great setup that we used a ton between the firepit and the porch. Plenty of space for my wife and I, plus our 2-year old son. Would definitely stay here again.

We were just looking for a place to rest our heads and a hot tub to relax away all the walking on our 14th Anniversary and Bear's Den was just right. It was close enough to Helen that we could just take a little time to rest before moving in to the next experience and at night the pool and ping pong tables were a great variety option to just watching TV. Lovely place, just secluded enough.

Our stay was great in this very cozy cabin. It rained a lot while we were there but didn't mind watching the rain from the hot tub!!! We got to watch some deer passing through. Very close to Helen for shopping and fun!!! Will definitely be back!!!

We had a great time at Bear’s Den. The location was private but still easily accessible from all the outdoor activities at Unicoi National Park and just a short drive to Helen. Between the hot tub, fire pit, ping pong table, and pool table you have plenty to occupy your time without even leaving the cabin. I would definitely stay here again!

Great weekend getaway

We stayed here for a long weekend getaway. The proximity to Helen was great and it was nice to have the pool table, ping pong table, and hot tub on those rainy days where we couldn't venture out much. We didn't use the kitchen for cooking much but it looked like it had everything needed for cooking. We enjoyed the fire pit out back amd made smores. It was super quiet at night and overall it was a nice break. Communication with the office was a breeze as well. One of the easier rentals we've stayed at. Thanks!

There are many items that need replacing, couch is worn, front door doesn't lock with code, frying pan needs replacing, ironing board is broken, silverware is lacking, toaster won't stay down, smoke detector woke me at 4:15 am. The hot tube was cloudy and had on chemicals in the float.The cleaning crew needs to do a better job. Overall our stay was just fine, we enjoyed ourselves loved the quiet and the isolation. Thanks for that

The house was nice, enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong table and the pool table. Although the pool table was not level 🤣. The driveway to the house is extremely narrow & part of it is crumbling away leaving about a 10” drop if you hit it. Enjoyed going into Helen.

Beautiful peaceful setting in the hills, about 10 minutes outside Helen and near Anna Ruby falls. The property manager checked in on us routinely to be sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was well equipped and had all the necessary basic supplies. We enjoyed the screened porch, hot tub and pool table. We would stay here again.

Highly recommend, we look forward to returning this time next year, and hopefully sooner! We absolutely loved the hot tub in the screened-in porch. Next time we'll plan to stay longer so we can play ping-pong and pool! Dreamy little oasis in the middle of the Georgia mountains.
