About this house rental
Our beautiful home is right on the water with gorgeous views of the lake and sunsets to die for! You will love our spacious floor plan with indoor and outdoor areas designed for entertaining! Go jump in the lake, fish off the dock, or take advantage of our partnership to boat, lily pad, kayak, and paddle board rentals. We are geared for fun!! Challenge your friends to a game of cards and relax on the deck overlooking the lake. We know you'll love it here and make memories to last a lifetime! Our home is waterfront boasting 85 feet of shoreline. Our beds are comfy and inviting with room for lots of guests. There is plenty of room in the kitchen for a big family meal with dining tables in the kitchen, indoor porch as well as outdoor deck. The kitchen is well equipped with pots and pans, dishes and silverware. All linens are provided. Home is complete with a propane grill, and in home laundry. Guest access to our kayaks and dock with great fishing and turtle, duck and crane sightings depending on the time of the year.

Great location that were very spacious. Perfect for a party or a summer lake getaway.
However, one of the beds listed ended up being an air mattress and the couch is included in the total number of beds. The couch does not pull out though. Not the deal breaker, but good to be aware. The front door code did not work.
Given the proximity to the lake, some roaches and bugs were seen in the sunroom and kitchen.

We stayed two nights for my son's fishing tournament. The property was clean and right on the lake. After fishing all day, our anglers were able to come back to the house and relax. Great visit!

There were brand new high end paddle boards my kids loved!! My kids were in the water the whole time! We took the kayaks out multiple times, and saw lots of fish and birds flying around the lake. The Adirondack chairs were nice to relax on at night or watch the kids in water. The house was nice and clean and fresh. Super comfy for our large group of 12. Had everything we needed, thank you we will be back!!

Pictures were not as it seems. Biting flies and gnats greeted us inside the home and were relentless. Fire pit is collapsed at best. Plugs didn’t work, drawers fell out when opened. Neighborhood is sketchy, not trying to be rude, but when you pay what they charge then expectations are set. Host insists it was the storm the night before but house needs repairs. Duct tape on floors. Home needs thorough cleaning on the outside as well. Will not return. I have pictures if needed.

We rented the property for the April 8, 2024, eclipse, and it was a really great place to watch it. The weather cooperated, and everyone had a good time together. However, we had many issues with the house itself. Any 1 or 2 of them would not have been a big deal, but the list just kept growing. I can't recommend this house unless the owners address some of the many problems.
Here are the things we noted:
* Living room TV broken
* Drier tripped the breaker when we tried to use it
* Coffee maker broken
* Peeling linoleum and hole in the laundry room floor
* Too few dishes and silverware
* Sprayer arm missing from dishwasher--found it under the sink and put it back on
* Living room furniture stained and sleeper sofa worn out and unusable
* Grill rusted out and unusable
* Outdoor recreation equipment (kayaks, paddleboards, chairs, foosball, connect 4, Adirondack chairs, hammocks) dirty, worn, broken, and/or missing. We cleaned up what we could.
* Broken window in dining room, taped up instead of being repaired. Unsafe for kids.
* Broken chairs in dining room and deck.
* Tile falling off master bathroom shower and tub.
* Knob fell off in master shower when turned
* Burned out bulbs throughout
* TV remotes missing batteries
* Loose dogs roaming the neighborhood. While on a walk, saw a cyclist chased by 4 dogs. Scary.
* Out of date binder with contact info for previous owner.
It's a nice lake, and it wouldn't take too much work to make this a much nicer house.

Wow, what an amazing lake front property! This house was perfect for our family of all ages! The house is very spacious and has such an awesome backyard that we spent most our time outside! We especially loved the kayaks, fooseball table and patio furniture under the shade. The dining room with the view of a lake was perfect for our breakfasts to start the day. The owner was so communicative and accommodating for a few custom requests. I highly recommend this property!!

Overall we had a great time. There were three dogs belonging to the family across the road which were not leashed. Two of them were pretty aggressive and would charge toward our dogs.
We wished there were step ladders at the dock for people and dogs. Thank you

Cute and cozy home was clean and comfortable. Lots of shade, the kids had a blast and the water was shallow enough that we didn't have to constantly keep worrying about the littles going too far and not being able to reach. Overal a great experience.

After a quick initial cleaning, this was the perfect house for my group of ladies. Plenty of beds with cute decor! We enjoyed the fire pit and kayaks. I’ll bring the boys back another day.

House was super spacious and well maintained. Perfect for our family trip. House was super cute and nicely decorated. We lucked out with nice weather and hung out on the back patio quite a bit and built a fire in the fire pit. We will be back for our next family gathering!!

The photos of this property were gorgeous. The reality of this property was not. We were a little surprised to find the outdoor area filthy, most of the lightbulbs in the home were out, some furniture was broken (the coffee table) upon checkin. When I let the owner know, she insisted she had been in recently and it wasn’t broken. The bathtub water was only warm for about three minutes and the drain didn’t work so I had trouble giving my kids a bath. I think this place could be really great, it just needs a deep clean, and some attention to detail in the maintenance. Owner refunded some fees due to our disappointment and the asked me to refund her for the broken coffee table that we didn’t break.

Great spot. We had a issue with toilet and they had handyman come over immediately. We enjoyed paddle oards and kayaks provided.

The owner was very good communicating. Property was very clean. All bedrooms are spacious. We enjoyed the house but the neighborhood wasn’t what we had hoped. We couldn’t walk or exercise bc dogs in the neighborhood chase you. The neighborhood has all manufactured homes. Neighbors were very friendly.

More than you expect
Erica is an amazing host. When you pull up it seems small but once your inside it's huge. Lots of space. Games, grill, lake, kayaks, paddle boards, dock, etc. Grab 2 or 3 couples or or a group of friends or the big family and come enjoy this place.

Absolutely Amazing
This property and the owners did NOT disappoint me. My family enjoyed themselves to the fullest. I would absolutely do business with these owners again hands down. The house was beautiful. The lake off the dock right there is shallow, so all of my nieces and nephews could enjoy the lake water, also without knowing how to swim.

My Family Loved it here! Right on lake!
Overall great clean place for the kids to run around and the adults to enjoy. Backyard and lake view and access was amazing. Can get right in water with kayaks and paddleboards, fish, hang at firepit. Was awesome, hope to come again this summer.

Cedar Creek Lake Life!!!!
House was well stocked with everything we needed and the host Erica was very accommodating and quick to respond to anything we needed. We spent the majority of our time in the backyard in the hammocks and turned off the lights on the back deck at night and watched the moon light on the water and night sounds. So quiet and peaceful here but near restaurants and stuff to do.

Nice stay
Overall our stay was nice, neighborhood was rundown. Spent 1st night cleaning before we could unpack and relax. But once we got settled in everyone had a nice visit. Got fast response from host, very nice and helpful.

Spring Break
Overall really nice property with lake front and quite neighborhood. Wifi was basically nonexistent, but you can manage. The neighborhood in some areas were less than desirable, actually a little rundown.

Loved this stay, really relaxing and spent most of the time out back overlooking the lake. The whole family loved it. Especially enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. Beautiful water views. Will definitely come back.

Quiet stay in a small town
We enjoyed our stay at this property. We had planned for a week long staycation with family. The lake and the backyard were beautiful. The house has an old charm and had been upgraded from the inside. The kitchen was fully equipped and the main areas were neat and tidy. This is not a luxury stay but a comfortable one. The kids enjoyed the games in the house and backyard. The internet was slow which was challenging considering some of us were working. Overall a good stay if you intend to largely spend time at home with the family.

My family and I had a great stay. The house was very spacious, clean and comfortable for my family. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and we had everything we needed. My favorite part about the home were the lake views from the back porch. They were breath taking from anywhere on the porch or backyard and this property was just so tranquil. Was a great getaway to recharge and reconnect with the familly. Loved the firepit down by the lake, the oversized connect 4 and we even got a nice day to hop on the paddle boards! My kids loved lounging out back on the hammocks. Can't wait to come back to this home in the future!

Awesome views LOVED this property!
This was a great place to stay and celebrate my birthday with my family. We also had family friends with us and our two dogs and it was perfect. The home was good size and we spent a ton of time out on the back porch and in the back yard. The views are incredible and this home is so relaxing. A great getaway. We loved to oversized connect 4 game- we played this for hours! The hammocks and firepit were great. Everything was fully stocked and clean. Am planning on staying here again!
