We are a family of 4 adults and 1 small dog. This cozy spot was a perfect location between Ventura County and Los Angeles which is where we visited family and friends while in town for 6 days. Excellent location within a few miles proximity to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Especially enjoyed the spacious, modern shower, nice kitchen area and lovely, quiet patio. Lee was a super friendly, accommodating host! We had everything we needed. Loved the cute goats! Dinky and Binky.

Needed a place while visiting our son at Pepperdine & came across Lee’s place. This unit was conveniently located, kept in an immaculate condition, & perfect for our weekend stay. Lee was a great host with excellent communication & super friendly. He even dropped off some baby carrots for us to feed his pet goats during our stay which was a lot of fun. Highly recommend this little cottage.

Our family friends thoroughly enjoyed their stay! Their little ones enjoyed visiting the goats each morning and the site was beautiful. They stayed for an extended three week stay, giving them their own space but also close proximity to day adventures in the surrounding areas. They look forward to staying here again during their next visit!

Was visiting our daughters in TO and found this great 2 bedroom on VRBO. Lee was very accommodating and responsive. Unit was as advertised and in great shape. Feeding to goats was an added bonus as was seeing all the horses on the trails around Old Agoura.
Would definitely stay here again.
Thanks Lee!

Agoura Hills is a small, quiet area with beautiful homes and environment. This residence is in a gorgeous area with trees, shrubs, and low hills. The patio has comfortable chairs allowing you to enjoy this tranquil setting. As a bonus in a fenced area in the back are two friendly, lovable goat brothers, Dinky and Binky, to whom you can feed carrots provided by the owner .It was a thrill to feed them several times a day as well as playing with them!
The location to some LA sites does require extended driving, although AH has historical sites and shopping nearby. We enjoyed dinner at Marie's Italian Ristorante and Wood's BBQ. We had delicious Italian pastries at Cabrera's.
The 2 BR house is functional and nicely designed. The kitchen area works favorably for light meal preparations, but lack of a dishwasher is mildly inconvenient and the kitchen chairs are very hard.
Lee, the owner, lives above the unit and is very courteous and solicitous. He promptly addresses any visitor concerns, as we experienced.
Our low mark for cleanliness is because of rushed cleaning to accommodate our arrival. Nonetheless, we were disappointed with the debris in the kitchen and bathroom, as well as scattered cobwebs. We addressed this with Lee and he is committed to correcting this. He is very concerned about visitor satisfaction.
While pleased with our stay, we are unlikely to return, not because of dissatisfaction with our unit, but because we prefer closer proximity to relatives, friends, and sites. We weren't used to LA traffic!
Enjoy your stay,
John and Karen

Although we happened to have picked a poor weather week to be in the LA Area, we really enjoyed our stay at Lee’s place. It made the trip very nice. It was my wife and I and my daughter joined us for 2 of the 6 nights.
Clean, comfortable, decorated and appointed nicely, and the most responsive host we’ve every enjoyed. Very private with a nice view out the sliders and some really nice hiking right from the front door.
Drives to the Malibu area beaches was super easy and just a beautiful drive there and back thru the hills.
Lee is incredibly responsive as well a very engaging with a great sense of humor and a super chill demeanor.
The goats are a hoot. Loved seeing them walk by in the morning and thru the day and feeding them carrots (that Lee supplied).
Def Planning on going back!

I stayed here for a work trip. The location was amazingly convenient and I can’t say enough positive. Lee was awesome, friendly and helpful the whole time. I traveled with my two dogs, and it was perfect to have a fenced yard for them, and a great place to leave them during the day while working. lots of trails and open space to hike with the dogs as well.
If you’re in the area, and looking for a place, don’t pass this up!!!

This is a very clean and well done place in quiet “Old Agoura.” The goats are very gentle, but also quiet and no interaction is required, if you’d prefer. The owner, Lee, is very accommodating. He lives upstairs, but you’d never know it; the unit is very private. It was perfect for the two of us and we hope to return. Thank you, Lee!

This is a place of calm and peacefulness. It is surrounded by friendly and waving (in the wind) oak trees and also bordered, inside their pen, by 2 friendly and affectionate goats. The queen bed is so comfortable and the furniture, appliances and shower are all first class. We will return for sure! Finally, the host, Lee is very accomodating and responsive. Ciao!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Lee's place. Lee was very helpful and quick to reply to questions. The place is in an ideal location, quiet and peaceful in a great walking neighborhood surrounded by horse properties. It is also just a quick 20-minute drive to Malibu beaches, there's shopping, movies and restaurants in Thousand Oaks, the outlet stores in Camarillo and it's only an hour's drive to Santa Barbara. The house itself is very well maintained, clean with beautiful decor and state of the art appliances and also cozy and inviting with all the essentials on hand. The goats are so cute, our dogs had a blast greeting them every day. We will definitely plan to visit again and highly recommend it as an ideal place to stay.

Restoration and relaxation
Lee and the goats have restored our faith in VRBO. We had a horrible experience 2 months ago in a different location and we were nervous to be in another VRBO, but this location was clean, well-appointed, private and peaceful. We were pleasantly surprised as the bathroom is even more imrpressive than the photos. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen perfectly served our needs. The two adorable goats in back were the icing on the cake due to the fact that they are adorable, quiet and sweet as can be. We had an excellent stay and we will definitely be back!

Peaceful Farm Retreat
The apartment is soooo nice, perfect for cooking and the shower is amazing. Every detail was thought through. It was such a relief after weeks of moving and stress. The horse neighborhood is so peaceful and even the neighbors were so welcoming and kind. There are miles of hikes in walking distance of the house, which was a great morning treat. Lee was always available and sooooo accommodating. It was truly a blessing to be able to stay here. If you want to go to the ocean, Kanan Rd is really close and takes you right to the Zuma beach area and anywhere on PCH. But it is also a great location to get to other attractions in Los Angeles or Santa Monica... Or even Santa Barbara. He had two parking spaces ready and the house is lighted and easy to find. Then there are the goats.... the sweet goaties made my morning and were always a pleasure to say good night to. Just perfect. Thank you!

Beautiful and tranquil getaway
We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house tucked into the leafy hills of Agoura. It has a lovely view and space for outdoor relaxing or reading. It’s very quiet but is close to the freeway and easy to get to anywhere in LA or surrounding communities. It felt like a real escape from the bustle and we enjoyed meeting the two goat brothers who live on the property. The house is beautifully designed and appointed, with gorgeous fixtures and decor throughout. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has all the supplies you may need to cook. Lee, the host, has added some welcoming touches including chocolates and snacks, coffee for the coffee maker, and plenty of shampoo and soap for use in the bathroom. I think our favourite part was the shower - perfect water pressure and beautifully designed.
We had a great time here and will definitely come again. The host was responsive to all of our queries. The one suggestion would be if there could somehow be a lock on the sliding glass entry door that can be locked when going out. There is a lock on the surrounding gate but we were slightly nervous about leaving laptops and passports.

Great place. Perfect getaway!
This is a great property and wonderful location. The house has lots of room and is clean, well designed with many nice features.
The location is awesome. It feels like you’re so far from the crowds but yet you’re close to what you need. We did a good hike each day and they were all super close trails plus we were an easy drive from the beaches at Malibu.
Lee is a wonderful host. Very responsive to our questions before and during our stay. And he had good tips on restaurants and the area. The check in/access process was super easy.
We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing family getaway in beautiful country setting
My family had a pleasant stay at Lee’s property. The house is in the beautiful “horse community” of Old Agoura Hills so it’s a lovely neighborhood and my girls especially loved seeing all the animals around the place. The house was the right size for our small family of four - the queen beds are comfortable and the living area and kitchen suited our needs for cooking light meals and hanging out. Lee is a super friendly guy and was very easy to communicate with before and during our stay. He definitely wanted to ensure that we had a great time and had all we needed. Perfect host! I will mention that he lives above this guest house so you can hear footsteps and muffled noise from above occasionally, but it this was not disturbing for me and my family. I recommend Lee’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing spot to stay in Agoura Hills.
