First time to Broken Bow. We enjoyed the location of the cabin to Broken Bow, Hochatown, & Beavers Bend State Park. We stayed 4 nights. Kids enjoyed the hot tub every night. Cabin was clean. Be prepared to buy supplies for your stay

Upon arriving at the cabin it was exactly as listed with all the pictures being very accurate. The check in process was very smooth and easy to comprehend.
Unfortunately, upon arrival the inside of the cabin was a mess with both beds not being clean, trash in the cabin which had ants and fruit flies all around it. The sink was not washed out at all with food debris still left in it. Towels all over the floor in the bathroom.
Tried getting in contact with the host. She was having phone problems and could never talk on the phone only communication was through the Vrbo app. After waiting an hour we finally heard back from the host and expressed our concerns with how dirty the inside of the cabin was. Eventually, after talking to the host for 30 mins. We waited for a hour then decided to take it upon ourselves to clean the cabin. The cleaner showed up 2 hours after we arrived and stayed an additional 2 hours to clean the cabin. The problem ended up getting resolved. Me and my fiancé were very disappointed that we as guest had to take it upon ourselves to clean the cabin because we thought we were in for a nice relaxing stay.
Other than that the cabin was in a great location very close to a lot of places to eat, hike, and fish.

The cabin is super clean but a lot smaller than images in the photos. It sleeps 6 people but there was only linen for 4. I messaged the owner and got no response. We had to find bedding options in the middle of the nights for our children causing us to have to use the heater in summer...... the check in time is late as well, 4pm is very late for a check in time

Initial night was great. On the 2nd night, we had an unwelcome visitor. A mouse ran across the floor of our bedroom. I was able to get him out of the room and into the living area. Once the shock passed we sealed off the bedroom the best we could and decided to stay. Woke to mouse droppings in kitchen. I messaged the owner that night to alert them and give them opportunity to do whatever they needed for the next guest. Surprisingly, there was no response. After a few more days past, I tried to contact owner again. No response. I really do not like leaving a poor review without knowing the context of the story. But, since the owner won’t respond, I have no choice for the sake of the next guests. A mouse as well as a lack of communication is a big deal in my opinion. Would not stay here again or recommend it.

This place was just right. Had a very enjoyable stay. The location was close to the state park but still very private and beautiful. The only problem I had was the TV in the bedroom didn’t work. Would like to stay here again.

We enjoyed staying in this cozy cute cabin in Broken Bow. It was very clean, and relaxing, with plenty of family friendly activities (hot tub, Cornhole, board games). There where a few small things that where listed on the description/ in the checkin email that where not correct but nothing major; my kids where expecting a hammock to relax in but there wasn’t one, there was not k-cups, and shampoo like stated.

Do NOT stay at this property. While the cabin is nice, we could not get into the property until 7:30 pm (checkin-in time was 4:00 pm.). No one had cleaned the cabin from the last guests and the locks didn't work. After several phone calls to VRBO and the host, we finally got into the property 3.5 hours late. The host assured me that I would receive a refund for the cleaning fees which never happened. Pretty sure the host has blocked my phone number. VRBO was no help. They told me all contact had to be with the host. I will never stay at this host's properties or use VRBO again.

Lacked a few amenities like firewood, sugar and creamer for coffee, the games were missing pieces, the cornhole bags were a little deflated, bed was a bit too firm, and the cleaning fee was a little pricey, but overall we enjoyed our stay. The water was hot, the hot tub was nice, kitchen had a big table to play games and the outside area was very relaxing. Overall experience was great, just lacked some of the finer details.

We enjoyed our stay at the Robins Nest. The only inconvenience was arriving and no toilet tissue! We got all settled in and had to run out to the store for necessities. The hot tub was not working but by our last day we were able to enjoy it for a few hours.the owners were quick to call the repair man out after we notified them. The stove light does need replacing as it was dark trying to cook. Very minor detail; just wanted to make you aware of it. Very comfortable and cozy cabin. Would definitely rent again.

This host had not given me instructions by 4:00, was on the phone with VRBO they also could not reach him so they cancelled my reservation, after that call 20 min later and after i made a reservation at hotel the host sent me a message with details. Now VRBO says they will not give me a refund. They cancelled not me! Now they say they have no notes stating that conversation ever happened.

AWFUL. Unfortunately this has been the most unprofessional encounter I've ever experienced. We started reaching out to the host 5 days prior to our stay after reading that other guests had trouble getting their check in info on time, and like everyone else, got no response. We spoke with Vrbo techs on the phone every day for those 5 days who assured us we would be let in to the cabin which ended up not being true. We informed the host we would be driving four hours to the cabin and we were concerned with others reviews because they had not been able to get in contact with them, but for five days, they still did not respond. we decided to drive to broken Bow anyways because the trip had already been paid for for two months and we were hoping that by the time we got there we would hear something back which we did not. Our check in time was 4:00 PM and after sitting at the cabin until five with no contact from the host, we decided to find another place to stay, since we were four hours from home and had nowhere to sleep. An hour and a half after booking another place to stay the "host" FINALLY messaged to inform us that the cabin was ready but STILL did not offer up any check in instructions. I would urge all of you to really think twice before booking a stay in this cabin. I am not sure why these people should still be allowed to list the property on this website after the stress they have caused not only us but obviously many others as well.

I was already skeptical from reading the past reviews on this host and rightly so. Booked this cabin for me and my husbands NYE getaway. I messaged the morning of check in to get a jump on the check in process. Messaged again at noon to tell her our ETA. Finally at 2:30 got a message that the cabin was double booked and she had switched us to another one. In an RV PARK! No thank you. Vacation ruined.

I read in the reviews about not being able to get into the property upon arrival from others--- it happened to us. The wrong code was given to us on our confirmation info. The host was not available and we had to call VRBO. Once in, it is a nice (slightly tight) cabin. The kitchen table is way too large for the space and less-well equipped.

We enjoyed the cabin so much. Could have been a tad bit cleaner but with us checking in on thanksgiving day we understand that employees were just trying to get home to their families as well. Would definitely come back

The property was lovely but it is hard to enjoy when checking is at 4 and the housekeeper is still there at 6:30 at night. The host was unavailable to contact until 5:30 or 6:00 drier wasn’t working no dry towels or sheets.

It’s a nice cabin in a great location. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired but it’s not horrible, it’s just not great.
However, the property management is awful. We sent a message 15 minutes prior to arriving at the cabin saying we were close and please send us the check in info. We received nothing. Finally, 45 minutes later we got a message telling us the ins and outs of the cabin but it didn’t include the cabin’s door code.
We still couldn’t get in! We messaged again. Nothing. Finally we called customer support who was great and able to get in touch with the property manager, get the code and finally we were able to start our vacation.

I had zero contact with the host. She never responded to us and we got lucky the cleaning lady let us in. All the reviews say the host was impossible to reach so I would recommend not letting her host anymore. The cabin was fun though but the host situation ruined it at the beginning.

I kept trying to call and text the property manager but they were not answering. Looking at the other reviews they have a habit of sending the code super close to the time you’re suppose to be there. When you get there make sure to let them know if anything is broken otherwise they will try to charge you for it. The handle on the fridge was broken and they tried to say we broke it. We washed the dishes took out the trash and swept the whole house they still had the audacity to say we left a mess. Lovely cabin but would NOT recommend or ever go back. When they tried to say we broke the fridge handle and left a mess I let them know it was already broken and asked what mess we left. Their response was just an automated “thank you for staying with us”.

We received no email or contact otherwise from the property manager regarding the access instructions. We messaged them on Vrbo and called the listed #, which was “not receiving calls” at our check-in time. Thankfully, Vrbo customer support found the door lock access code on file, otherwise we would have had no way into the cabin. Over 48 hours later and we still have not heard from the manager. I wonder how quickly they would have contacted us if the $550 payment bounced.
The cabin was noted to be in very neat condition with a minor exception. The fridge smelled of rotten meat and there was a pinkish liquid at the bottom of crisper drawers. That required cleaning so we could keep food in there.
The property overall was set up for a very good time. We enjoyed the cornhole sets, the fire pit, as well as the cozy porch. It was very disappointing to find that the hot tub smelled like a fish bowl/pond. I didn’t feel comfortable allowing my kids in there who looked forward to it. It was

Prior to our visit to the cabin I sent the Property Mgr a message. No answer ever! We had to contact VRBO - who also was unable to reach the property manger. Don't even try calling her because the phone doesn't allow for messages, or texts. Emails went unanswered. it was a very sketchy feeling to arrive and not get thru to her. Every message that did come from her was pre-scripted. No personal touch whatsoever. Upon arrival we had to wait for over 20 minutes outside the cabin w/2 dogs and in the 106 degree weather until she finally decided to send us the code to enter the cabin. As nice as this cabin is - it isn't up to par with some of the others we have stayed in. No hand soap, no dish soap, nothing for the shower. Also, there is no creek around there on the property as listed on the website. Everything else was nice but honestly the communication is the worst I have ever seen. Even after the stay I never received anything from her for the issues we had. I would NOT recommend this cabin due to the lack of care and communication especially for the price. We didn't even receive some credit back for the lack of being able to get into the property. The worst! Will not be back.

Beware!!! I gave this rating based solely on the lack of communication from the owner. We were scheduled to arrive on 6/29. I had received an email from VRBO on Monday 6/26 stating that I should have received access instructions. On Tuesday I still had not received anything so I messaged the owner through the VRBO app. That message went unanswered. I then sent her a text message on Wednesday which also went unanswered. By this time we are thinking the trip isn’t going to happen. We then call the credit card company to dispute the charge. Then I contacted VRBO who was of NO help telling me to give the owner 24 hours to respond after they were unable to reach them. This is NOT a way to conduct business. The very least the owner could have done was responded to let me know approximately when I could expect access information vs just NO communication. We are a 2 hour drive away. And to not receive access instructions until 30 minutes prior to arrival is totally absurd. I’m traveling with my 79 year-old mother so to have to make the drive to then potentially have to turn around and come back is a bit much. After reading the reviews, I can see that I am not the only one this has happened to.
The cabin is clean. The hot tub cover is awkward. In the pictures of the listing it shows a creek/stream which I thought was on the property. It isn’t. I even asked the property owner about this in a message. She couldn’t even respond with an answer
