This home provides seating on the porch and down by the Cabana allowing your guests to have options on where they would like to enjoy each other’s company. Sit on the front or back porch and enjoy the quiet of the Hill Country and the views of the area. The home is located just 15 minutes from the popular Garner State Park and a few minutes from the Frio River, House Pasture concert venue, and the Frio Valley Ranch golf course. Features include high ceilings, an island kitchen with additional seating, bar area, spacious front, and back covered porches, and much more! Plenty of parking! The home is equipped with BBQ pit, fire pit, and horseshoe throwing area. Make AK Corral your special vacation home and start those unforgettable memories time and time again.
PET FEES: This rental requires a pet fee of $25/day for each pet. With a 2 pet minimum. Pets must be kept in a kennel when left behind at the property and leashed when outside. Pet fee will be collected after booking confirmation.
To help keep the cost of your rental down, we do offer our guest the option to bring their own Linens and Towels. We do offer the option to rent them at an extra cost. If wanting to rent linens and towels for your stay, please allow us 4 weeks prior to arrival notice. Make note that we do have a limited supply and cannot guarantee we will have lines and towels readily available.

My family has the best time! This was my first time renting/reserving a house on my own and the management made it so easy for me. They were so easy to talk to and communicate with. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. This isn’t my family’s first rodeo when it comes to visiting the Frio, so we were aware of all the extra things we would need. The pool was perfect. The AC was cold and worked like a gem! The rooms had plenty of room for everyone! We will definitely be returning next summer and plan on renting the same house!

Fantastic location, plenty of space for 4 adults. Only complaint is the A/C was not very cool. The dogs were hot and sleeping at night was a bit uncomfortable.

House is starting to show its age. Some of the basics need to be attended to. When we got there the crock pot was missing the pot (noted by a previous renter on the form they left). The "non-stick" pans have lost their non stick character and were difficult to use and clean. No hot pads, only enough silverware for one meal, etc. It was the end of the season but these are basics we expect.

We love AK Corral and will definitely stay here again but were still dissatisfied with a few items. The stove was still broken as it was last year (one eye not working) and the pool and grounds had not been properly picked up after the last guests had left many items strewn about. Other than that, it's an amazing house and location and the management is very helpful and interested in knowing how to make things better. Look forward to our next trip to the AKC!!!

The house was amazing, the view was beautiful. The pool was sparkling clean. The rooms where very spacious. Only thing that bothered me was the 2 bedroom room didn't have a closet or dresser, also we where expecting a pull out couch and there was only 2 recliners that was a bummer for the person who was expecting a pull out bed. Other then that I would most definitely stay here again.

The area was nice and we would have been happy with the house but some things were not to our liking. The couches were horrible. Rips and tears in the cushions. They need to be replaced and they aren't something you want to sit on. The dishes were not washed. The coffee cups were gross and had a layer of something on them. We are required to wash our dishes but house keeping should check to make sure things are cleaned properly for the next renters. The floors didn't look clean. Also there are stones around the pool that are loose and should be fixed. For these reasons I would not rent again.The check in process was easy and the ladies were very nice.

We loved the location of the AK Corral. The back porch was an amazing experience with all the deer that visited daily. The front was full of fun in the pool and the outdoor pavilion where we gathered for meals and played washers and cornhole. Plenty of space and beds for your large group. There was plenty of table space for us to sit and enjoy dinners/breakfast at the same time. The only improvement I would suggest is a pantry for the kitchen. When you can sleep 20 people, it would be nice to have places to put food away that many people. It would not deter me from staying here again though. I was very happy with our stay and this neighborhood is my favorite in Concan! You cannot see the houses next to you so it provides a lot of privacy. With water levels low, the pool provided a nice break from the heat.

The house that we stayed at was very nice, we loved the location, when we arrived the pool didn't look that clean & the lights in the pool weren't working, we notified the property owner and he came right out to fix the lights & add cleaner to the pool that same day we arrived. We were very please with the way he handled the situation right away. We will be returning as we do every year.. Thank you so much for being on point to make our stay welcoming.
