We are happy to offer to our guests this beautiful, hill country home – HANG YOUR HAT! This custom cut stone home is located on the Golf Course in the Concan Country Club area. Surrounded by the native oaks, Hang Your Hat is 6 bedrooms/6 ½ baths/outdoor kitchen & TV/pool /sand volleyball – perfect vacation home for your family and friends to enjoy.
Each of the roomy bedrooms has a TV, private bath, and closet. There are two master suites in Hang Your Hat. The open floor plan is inviting for relaxing while visiting or creating one of those famous Frio vacation meals! Granite countertops and a large eating bar complete your central living space. The back windows bring the outdoor views indoors. You will step out onto a large covered porch and amazing outdoor kitchen area. A 2nd refrigerator, half bath, flat screen TV, granite entertaining bar, fire pit, BBQ pit, volleyball, and private swimming pool /hot tub, complete Hang Your Hat to be the perfect rental for your Frio vacation! Hang Your Hat has amenities that everyone in your group to enjoy.
To help keep the cost of your rental down, we do offer our guest the option to bring their own Linens and Towels. We do offer the option to rent them at an extra cost. If wanting to rent linens and towels for your stay, please allow us 4 weeks prior to arrival notice. Make note that we do have a limited supply and cannot guarantee we will have lines and towels readily available.

This is a great rental for multiple families to stay under one roof. The pool is just the right size and the hot tub is a great amenity. The range had a broken top glass, it did not affect the cooking, just made us a little scared to put anything heavy on it; property management did advise us of this during check in. The BBQ pit had a damaged smoker, we just used a direct heat to BBQ hot and fast, again small detail but overall GREAT experience with another FRVR property.

Great home! Accommodation for our crew was good. Nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom +1 out by the pool. The stovetop was cracked, but still worked. However, we did most of the cooking outside and/or all ready brought prepared food from home, so it wasn't much an issue. Only suggestion would be nice if there were speakers outback to enjoy music as we spend most of our time outside. Would definitely book again if it accommodates our crew members next year. Easy check in and check out.:)

We enjoyed this place!! It was perfect for all 28 of us!! This house had something for all of us to do and for all ages! The pool and playground was perfect for the kiddos!! Kitchen was equipped and all the rooms were very spacious for all the families. The outside kitchen and bar was perfect for the evenings for the adult time! Had no issues ,love,love,love this place!!

It’s our fifth year in booking and we ALWAYS book a different house, well for some reason the staff claims that we booked the same house as last year and that I know for a fact is NOT TRUE, well the staff continued to tell me yes I did, EVEN AFTER SHOWING PROOF on emails of the house we wanted and reserved, but nevertheless our stay at all of our houses have been great.

My family and I had the best time this year at the river and the Hang Your Hat house was a big part of it. It is a beautiful house with ALL the amenities that you need. It fit our big family of about 25. We all had a wing of the house and everyone had their own bathroom and TV In their room. The pool snd hot tub were amazing. After a long at the river, the outdoor kitchen a d pool we’re the best place to relax. There was a tv outside for music or watching entertainment and plenty of places to sit and eat or relax. We were able to enjoy some games of volleyball at the net provided and horseshoes as well. It was an extremely fun time for our family. 😁

We had issues with the kitchen sink that could not be fixed, the stove burners were not working the pool lights were not working the laundry room was dirty we could not find a mop and dust pan the mops were worn out and stinky management was called and took care of some of the issues

List of this this huge house didn’t have. 1. large pots 2. Broom or dust pan 3. Working hot tub (I had to call and have someone come and show me how to turn the night lights on using the breaker box and eventually tell me that bubbles setting for the hot tub was out of order.) Then this same man came to the house randomly telling us there “might” be a leak in the house because the meter had run continuously for 2 hours. He said he tried calling before but I didn’t have any missed call or poor reception. That was just an inconvenience no wants to have on vacation. There’s plenty of house along the Frio, luckily.

Very nice house! Rooms stayed nice and cold, pool & hot tub were amazing. Our only issue (and it’s a small one) if you plan on cooking for a large group bring a few deep pots, we needed larger pans for making sides and all we could find was one small stock pot. Overall great house and we plan on staying there again.

We had a great time, loved the location and service was amazing, but the pool did not heat up, tiles/grout were dirty/not maintained, outdoor stools were rusted and stained clothing if sat upon. No games indoors for night time. Had to bring hand/dish soap and toilet/hand paper towels. Dining tables didn’t fit our party of 32 and had to split breakfast/lunch/dinner times. We purchased linens but had to put bedding on ourselves. There were enough cooking utensils and pots/pans. Dishwasher/Washer were in working condition. The customer service was the best and very prompt. The location was near Garner State park and many convenience stores near by.

We really enjoyed the property. We wish it would’ve been sunny so all the kids could enjoy the playground. When they did play on there we wish y’all had mats to clean off the mud. Or mats on the inside so mud and dirt weren’t tracked into the house. We did have an issue with ants in the drawer nest to the stove. We would appreciate more sits to all sit down and eat at the same time. And wish we had shower curtains. But regardless of that we would totally stay there again. Thank you for having us :)
