About this cabin rental
Come visit this cute small town we call home. We are located in the heart of Torrey, located a block away from the Chuckwagon General Store as well as shopping at the locally family owned Torrey Trading Post.
Our cabin “The Roost” is a two bedroom one bathroom, full kitchen fully furnished piece of heaven. It currently sleeps up to four guest. Come sit back and relax on one of the two patios on site with beautiful views of Boulder and Cockscomb. We are a five minute drive away from the Velvets as well as a 10 minute drive from Capitol Reef National Park. If you’re interest include hiking, fishing, four wheeling side-by-side riding or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery there are many places such as Cathedral Valley, Hickman Bridge, Burr Trail, and Fish Lake.

Big beautiful property, and the 2 Bedroom House exceeded our expectations. The Owner was pleasant and easy to deal with and responded promptly in all our communications.
My Group of Four all agreed that we wish we could have stayed an extra night.

This is a great find! This cute cottage was super clean and comfy! It was a home run experience starting with when I originally booked it and had conversations with Nichole who is very responsive and helpful. When we walked in we could see how super clean and well appointed it was. The towels, sheets, beds were all high-end and super comfy! The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and instructions very clear. They certainly have paid a lot of attention to details to provide a super nice hone away from home while in the area. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to family and friends.

This is a beautiful cabin! The setup was just right, for me and my husband, but great for lots more too. The decor is excellent, with granite tops on the sinks, and a soothing earthy modern color scheme. Nice big shower, good sized kitchen, living area and bedrooms. Tile floors all around with cushiony carpet in the bedrooms. Everything was spotless, just really SUPER NICE! I really felt like a welcome guest here. All we needed was food and clothes. It is located very close to Capitol Reef, not so close to the others around the state so we just hiked close. It was plenty for three days but more energetic people could do it in two. I highly recommend this place.

Everything about this stay was terrific. The host was so friendly and easy to work with; the location was perfect after a day in Capitol Reef. I can’t say enough about the cabin. I don’t think they missed anything in setting it up for guests. The only negative would be I wish we would have been able to stay a little longer.

An absolute gem of a place to stay very close to Capitol Reef NP in quaint & peaceful Torrey.
Beautiful location. Walking distance to General Store and a City Park for the youngsters to burn off energy on a neat playground.
“Cabin” is an understatement. Impeccable details in comfort and decor. TV, Wifi, top notch appliances and beds. Ample supplies, utensils, etc.

Nicole’s “Cozy Cabin” in Torrey is just that. It is lovely and welcoming – new, quiet and very clean. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked.
The views are wonderful: cattle and mountains! The location can’t be beat; less than 15 minutes to Capitol Reef and walking distance, or a very short drive, to restaurants and shopping for essentials.
Nicole provides everything you could want for your stay, from coffee and basic condiments to extra towels. She responds promptly to any question and is just next door should any issue arise. You’ll enjoy staying in the Cozy Cabin while you explore the magnificent scenery of Capitol Reef and the Water Pocket Fold.

We stayed one night here in Torrey while visiting Utah National Parks. The place was immaculate and deserving of the high ratings. The location was convenient and there is obviously great care and pride taken by the owners in this place. I would love to stay here again!

Comfortable, clean and quiet cottage, perfect place to come “home” to after exploring Capitol Reef NP and many, many other beautiful spots in the Utah desert. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking meals. We have stayed in VRBO properties all over the world and this was the cleanest and best equipped kitchen we have ever had on a trip! The beds and couches are comfortable, they felt great after a full day of exploring and hiking. Unfortunately we did not have a chance to enjoy the amazing back patio because it was too cold out while we were there. I imagine it to be a perfect place to relax at the end of the day and it is private with beautiful, pastoral views. Otherwise the cottage is right next to the main house where the owners live but we felt like we had total privacy. Excellent WiFi which was important for us as business owners and also for our teenage son. Absolutely, without any hesitation, pick this over a hotel for your family!!

The house on the property was wonderful. Very clean with nice amenities. My favorite part was the view from the back porch. Beautiful land and gorgeous Utah mountains in the background. Capital Reef National Park was very close and we found a cute diner for breakfast and dinner. Would definitely stay here again.

The guest house is beautiful. Everything is new and very clean. It was quiet and the process was easy. Just one note is that I found the bar stools a little difficult and not as stable as I would prefer. But that is so minor. I would do this again and again. Also note that if you rent in the off season there are few dining options nearby so bring some groceries. The kitchen is well equipped and it was nice for us to eat in. Thanks for the great holiday stay.

Wow… our stay at Nichole’s casita was peaceful , and beautifully decorated for the Capital Reef Nat’l Park area.
The front and back porches were relaxing with amazing views, and star gazing.
The interior decor was wonderful quality from the kitchen items to bedroom touches.

The owner was great from start to finish. We had two small children with us, and she let us know about their dog on the property before we arrived. The dog by the way, is super friendly and mellow. No issues at all. The property is beautiful and worked perfectly for our needs. Very clean and comfortable. The sunsets on the back patio were incredible as well. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely well equipped Casita on private property. Very quiet, very convenient to Capital Reef and other hiking opportunities which was our reason for selecting it. It also was within walking distance of the general store, an ice cream shop, and a burger shop. Multi-day renters should be aware it does not have a washer or dryer and Goole did not indicate any nearby laundromat. However, hand wash dries quickly in the low humidity. Check-in was via code to unlock the door. There was plenty of outside space to enjoy if you don't mind wind, which was always blowing while we were there in late October. Nicole responded quickly to any questions I had.

Cute, clean, comfortable, well equipped, well situated, quiet, and private. Nichole is friendly and welcoming.
My husband and I spent five nights here while we explored Capitol Reef and the Fish Lake area. We got supplies and “build your own” sandwiches to go at the Chuck Wagon one block away every morning. They also have a convenient laundromat. The duck dinner at Hunt and Gather was so good we went back twice. A stop at the Trading Post is also a must.

Beautiful newer home in a wonderful location. The inside is very nicely decorated and everything has been well thought-out. New appliances and all utensils are provided, plus extras of many necessary items. Just a brief walk to the Chuckwagon general store and deli.
Forever views from the back porch that provide excellent star-gazing late at night. Very quiet, peaceful retreat for relaxing after hiking the park during the day.

While on a 3 week Southwest road trip to see the National Parks, we reserved Nichole's casita for a 2 night stay. Beautifully decorated, clean, well-equipped, comfortable and quiet. Of all the VRBO's we have stayed in, this was by far the best. Nichole is very friendly and accommodating. Loved our stay.

We absolutely loved staying here! The home was the perfect size for us, beautifully decorated, SPOTLESS, and completely QUIET. We thought we were the only people around most of the time…and we really appreciated that. If you’re looking for a perfect place to stay during your travels, look no further! The photos just don’t do it justice…new, clean, tastefully decorated, and you feel like home the moment you open the door. My husband loved the Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom!

Spacious and contemporary kitchen with a gorgeous view of the mountain. I wish there was a small dining table. The bar counter is really tall. BUT It was the nicest accommodation of our trip.
