Refreshed in early 2024! Sunset Dreamer is a beautifully decorated Gulf-front property that is full of new amenities and one of the nicest and most updated beachfront homes in Mexico Beach. Outside has been transformed and now includes a 12 foot slide off the main deck, kids sand pit, connect 4 game, beachside firepit and charcoal grill, and a freshly stained downstairs concrete area and outdoor tv. Inside was also updated in 2024 and includes a large amount of new furniture and the transformation of the foyer into a sitting/game area complete with an Infinity table. This home was one of the most popular homes in Mexico Beach prior to Hurricane Michael and the first set of updates were complete in 2021 with a nice refresh in 2024. It’s a kid’s paradise at this point that’s also very comfortable for adults with lots of separate areas to enjoy. Offering 3,000 square feet of living space plus 1,700 square feet of deck space, large Gulf-front decks, 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths and 2 half baths, hardwood or LVP flooring throughout, wall-mounted TVs in each room, breathtaking views of the Gulf, and so much more.

The property was beautiful and worked great for our family of 11. We had lots of room; the kids loved the arcade games and the pool. The adults loved the easy beach access and enjoying coffee and cocktails on the spacious deck overlooking the gulf. We highly recommend this property.

Great house for a family with kids, close to the beach, the pool is fenced separately from house young kids can’t get in gate without help from an adult. House was clean, decorated nicely and kitchen well appointed.

Stayed for a week with kids and grandkids. House had everything we needed and more. When we realized we were missing a couple essentials, they took care of it right away. Beach is spectacular and almost empty. We will be back!

The day of leave the cleaning company tried getting into the home 1 1/2 hours before checkout time (8:30am). When I called Cape & Coast the women told me we had to be out by 9am (on the listing it says 10am). She says "we go by our time (EST)- not your time (CDT)". She was very rude and adamant. So we had less than 30 mins to get 6 guests out of the house. Mind you, I called when we arrived to ask about check-in and was told not to check in before 5pm. When we checked in at 5pm CDT the cleaning company was just leaving. So therefore, by there "rules" we could've checked in at 4pm? If so, why were the cleaners there?
For the price of this rental- I'm beyond frustrated!
We drove about 1,500 miles straight each way, so yes this made a huge difference in our stay.
The house was beautiful, great views, great location.
There were a few things broken (door handles, lights)
No remote for the tv in one of the bedrooms.
They could've done a better job cleaning (debris under furniture, dusting)
Also when opening the hot tub the water was cloudy with a massive amount of brown foam.

VRBO listing was with false statement. I am a handicapped person, who was looking for property with elevator. Which was stated in your advertisement. So my activity was limited as I could not move up & down. Complained to Cape & Coast with some additional minor issues, they have agreed to reimburse me $2,500 from rental. I am hoping VRBO will correct their advertisement On this property. There is no elevator on this property.

So close to the ocean, a short walk away. The house had all the amenities anyone would want. The pool was a real hit for the grandkids, and the hot tub was refreshing for every age. The beach was beautiful and not crowded. The decks gave us outstanding views of the ocean.

Great place to stay. Easy to find and right on a beautiful white sand beach. Great place to go and recharge!! The area is still rebuilding after the hurricane from 5 years ago though. If you’re looking for night life and shops this probably shouldn’t be your choice to stay, but if you want a spacious, beautiful home with all the amenities and a gorgeous beach with your family and/or friends, would highly recommend.
There are a few good places to eat in Mexico Beach. Take essentials with you because there’s only a Dollar General to shop.
Nice furnishings and plenty of outside seating by the pool and jacuzzi also.

This home is directly on the beach with spectacular views from inside the home. It is well equipped and there was plenty of room for our group of 12. We didn't get to use the pool during our stay because they did not heat it, so that was a little disappointing. Besides the pool not being heated, everything was perfect. We hope to visit again soon.

The property was immaculate, well stocked with amenities, and very comfortable. We were immediately in love and constantly impressed with the accommodations as well as the customer service response time. The house did have a couple issues, as is common with new construction, but Serenity was very prompt to resolve the issues and taking care of us. Highly recommend!

The best thing I can say is that the house was just as advertised. There were not any negative surprises. The house is right on the beach--so close that on a calm day I could sit on the balcony and hear my daughters talking on the beach. The view of the pier, dolphins, and boats leaving the waterway were an added bonus. The house is tastefully decorated and my wife kept talking about how they had to have a professional designer and something about "mixed metals" and consistent paint colors--which she liked. Great view of the beach and gulf from the kitchen and dining area. The master bedroom was very comfortable, though my adult children said the upstairs bedroom mattresses were a little too firm. The master bath was a huge upgrade for us. Plenty of storage space to hide whatever you bring with you to the beach. Very early one morning my wife and I sat on the balcony and saw a dozen shooting stars within 30 minutes--something we cannot do in Atlanta! Just a five minute walk away are three stores for fishing gear, beach supplies, souvenirs and fresh fish (great shrimp, snapper & grouper). Covered parking for cars and an outside shower to rinse off sand are also great amenities. Though we were in the height of tourist season, we never had bad traffic--which was one of the reasons we choose Mexico Beach. I definitely recommend Happy Ours Kayak rentals (30 minutes away) for a four-hour self-directed kayaking and snorkeling trip. Grocery stores are about 20 minutes away, so keep that in mind. Indian Pass Raw (Oyster) Bar and Sunset Coastal Grill are two very good restaurants worth visiting. Hope we get the chance to go back.

(Nice patio furniture)The walk to the beach is less than one minute. The beach was never crowded, which is perfect for us. The house has everything you need. The decor was very nice! Everything was super clean and the most amazing pantry to stock all of our stuff. Two of the bedrooms have very comfortable beds, the two double beds were really, really firm. I would so rent this house again and would highly recommend it to everyone!

Perfect home away from home
This beautiful home was exactly as depicted in the description and pictures. It was clean and well appointed. The home was very roomy and the bedrooms and the living area were very comfortable. The 2 decks provided a beautiful, unobstructed view of the beach and ocean. There was plenty of seating on both decks and a very nice gas grill. The outdoor shower was very private, had hot and cold water and was clean and well maintained. There was also a water spigot on the lower deck which we used often and was convenient to clean our feet before entering the home. There was plenty of parking and that area was clean and well maintained also. The kitchen was very nice with 2 ovens and a microwave plus several other amenities. There were several homes nearby, but this home felt very private and it was always quiet. The wi-fi worked great and was easy to access. Also, I should add, that there is a path from the home directly to the beach. It was very easy to get back and forth from the beach to the house with no roads or obstacles.
This was our first trip to Mexico Beach. We were looking for a low-key vacation spot without crowds. This was the perfect spot. If you have kids (or adults) that require entertainment, Mexico Beach isn't the place. If you want to relax on the beach all day, you found the right place. The only negative thing about the area is the lack of quality restaurants. We enjoy dining out on vacation, and we only found one very nice restaurant. It was in Port St Joe. There were a few places that we enjoyed, but we would have preferred a couple more high-end choices.
We would highly recommend this rental. We wish it were our own home!!

We love Mexico Beach, and Sunset Dreamer is one of the best vacation homes in the area. This is a beautiful appointed home, with everything you'll need for an amazing family vacation. Great location, right on the beach ... spacious interior and two large decks. Plenty of room for everyone to spread-out. All the beds are very comfortable and the master bath is to die-for (the grandkids fought over who would be first to take a shower or bath). Families with children will especially appreciate the large laundry room and outside shower! We would definitely recommend Sunset Dreamer to our family & friends ... Silvia at Serenity Beach Rentals was a pleasure to work with.

This environment is more pleasurable than the crowded areas of Destin and such. Fine restaurants. We're not fancy eaters but they had good bar-b-q, burgers and plenty fish offerings. Breakfast was big or small. A good coffe shop. Good icecream shops. Good pizza Nearby areas to explore. Plenty of shopping for the girls. And too many opportunities to buy stuff we didn't need. A wonderful week for our family of 6. Aged from 4 to 70.

Breath Taking
This home is simply stunning! From the moment you walk in you feel at home. The views of the water are gorgeous from sun up to sun down! The interior of the home is beautifully decorated with a well thought out floor plan. The master bathroom was our own little spa like retreat! This was the perfect home for our family vacation. We could cook meals in or easily get to restaurants both in Mexico Beach and Port St Joe. Most days were spent on the beach as it was just steps away from the house. The boys also enjoyed fishing off of the nearby pier. The information provided by Silvia was extremely helpful in having a successful stay! Our check in and checkout process was as easy as it gets. We can't wait to return in the future!
