Welcome to Three Little Birds cottage, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This darling cottage is tucked away on three beautiful wooded acres on Bay Shore Drive. Enjoy this property all year long! You can enjoy the wood-burning fireplace and close proximity to Sturgeon Bay in the winter, watch for the lady slippers and baby deer to appear in the spring, relax on the huge front porch or back deck during the summer, and enjoy being surrounded by seasonal colors in the fall. Winter time offers holiday decor perfect to put you in the holiday spirit.
This home has recently been updated and is set up to spend time together and/or separately. Go explore all of Door County's treasures during the day and return home to your own private retreat at night.
We love our family pet dogs and welcome yours too. Your well-behaved dogs are allowed with prior approval. This property allows up to 2 dogs. There is a fee of $50 per dog/per night, which is collected separately and approximately one week prior to your check-in date.

My family and I stayed at this property over the weekend. We stay at a lot of vacation rentals. I was specially pleased with this one as it had so many special touches they put together a travel book and manual and even left us mocks that we could take home. This was an amazing rental Were very nice and we plan to rent again. The property was amazing.

What a beautiful home! We are already planning a trip back! 4 minute walk to sunset on the water! Beautiful kitchen and deck. Living room and master suite were extremely comfortable. Loved our stay! So clean as well!

Three Little Birds was a perfect place for our family to vacation in Door County! Unfortunately our Jamaican vacation was canceled due to hurricane Beryl. We were able to quickly grab this amazing property and feel so lucky it was somehow available last minute. The setting was beautiful!!! The home was immaculate and had anything and everything you could possibly need on your vacation! The owners truly want you to have the best vacation and for you to be comfortable in their home. Seriously couldn’t have asked for a better spot!!!! Highly recommend!

Three Birds is a lovely house, very comfortable for our group of two adults and five teens. The house is well appointed with everything we needed and the space was really great for board games, movies and porch time plus good proximity to all Door County has to offer. Easy communication with the management team, too. Five stars all around!

We loved our stay at Three Little Birds! We had to cancel in January due to a snowstorm and they were very accommodating finding us another weekend. The place was very well maintained and they provided tons of wood for us to use per our request! The coffee mugs left for us to keep was such a nice touch! Had a great time. Would 10//10 recommend!

I booked this spot to surprise my partner with her friends for her birthday and it beat my expectations by a mile. Great for entertaining and relaxing. Incredibly clean, great view of the lake for only a short walk and within 15 minutes of shopping and downtown activities. Would definitely stay here again.

Myself and 4 friends who have all retired within the last year decided to celebrate with a mini girls vacay.. the house was more beautiful then the pictures, extremely clean and comfortable. There was enough room for all 5 of us to have a own beds, we did not want to leave. The only thing i could recommend would be handles to get into shower. Was a wonderful time at your beautiful 3 little birds house.

Excellent property and place to stay. Very clean and spacious. Cell service is a challenge at this property so take that into account. Wifi got better with an updated Starlink platform. We have stayed here in the past and plan to stay at this property again.

Check in was a problem since the door code we were given didn't work. With little to no cell service, we were only able to get management help because a member of our party was an IT person who figured out how to get a signal for a short time. The second night a plumbing problem occurred. Again, the lack of cell service made contacting management a real problem. Eventually, the issue was conveyed and a plumber arrived the next morning. He commented that modifications were made to the toilets, which he believed contributed to the problem. We noticed that in previous guests' comments, some also had plumbing problems. For our group, the sleeping arrangements weren't ideal. Other than that we had fun.

This is a fantastic house. The three bedroom and two bath set up is great. We loved the wonderful seating in the living room, and the kitchen has every amenity. It is set back off the road which offers a ton of privacy. The host was very attentive, and we really enjoyed our stay!

We all had such a fun and relaxing time in your beautiful house. All the furnishings were very comfy. My oldest son did a lot of birding. Had an awesome thanksgiving meal. It was a great place to chill. Even the dogs were relaxed. Loved it and plan to return again.

We absolutely loved our visit to Door County, a big part is because of the Three Little Birds! It is lovely and so comfortable! The location is perfect… close to the action but completely private. The pictures on VRBO look beautiful but the reality is even better than the photos. We will be back!

I loved the bed in the loft what a clever way to make more room for guests without needing another bedroom.
My only concern is the septic. Does it need pumping or is it always like that? I appreciated the note saying it is sensitive; a good way to let guests know. Just after a few flushes, there was a septic odor.
The beds were very comfortable. Beautiful view surrounded by the wooded area.

Excellent property!! Very clean, inviting, and spacious. We very much appreciated the ability to park our car in the garage! The family really enjoyed the fire pits and games. Owners provided more than most in terms of cooking utensils, plates, washing units, cleaning supplies, etc. we are looking to stay at this property again. A little pricey but a very nice stay!! I would stay at this property again in a minute if I find a week where the prices are less

Three Birds was exactly as shown in rental listings. A beautiful home tucked into the woods. So quiet and cozy. The newly screened in porch was a great bonus - although we never saw or heard a mosquito all week! We had 8 adults (4 couples) in our group. The only comment on sleeping arrangements was the the bed at the top of the stairs is not meant for anybody over 6’ tall. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, coffee pot(s) etc. we had a great time checking out Door County!

We stayed for 4 nights for a family wedding in Egg Harbor-6 adults and 2 dogs. Loved it. This is a very nice home, cute decor with a great layout. Variety of porches including a screened porch, and wonderful hammock. The lofted area bed nook was a big hit. Super clean. The house has everything you might need from kitchen items to blankets to indoor and outdoor games. It sits about a block from the lake. It’s about halfway between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor. I wouldn’t recommend walking on the main road but there is a side road down by the lake which was good for walking our dogs. There was even a nice welcome gift on the kitchen counter which was really appreciated. The only downsides are : not the best water pressure in the showers, and little to no cell service and weak Wi-Fi….but I don’t think any of those issues are the fault of or fixable by the owners. It’s just the reality of the location. If someone HAS to be able to connect to internet/phone whether for work or whatever, it would be a problem. We adapted and actually enjoyed being disconnected. Thank you to Three Little Birds!

The property is beautiful and well maintained. It’s close to Egg Harbor there is plenty to do around the area. However its worth noting that this is not a place to do remote work (our original plan). We read about the 5 GB limit but the Wi-Fi is essentially non-existent. Download speeds were around 1 mbps. And we could not even receive calls with ATT. It’s also worth mentioning that you only get 4 rolls of toilet paper for the whole house (1 ply, see through) and no Kleenex/tissues. Which I guess isn’t a huge deal but considering how much is added on in fees it seems a bit shocking.

Last minute trip to Door County for family time before daughter and son-in-law leave for Japan for 4 years. Was beautiful and relaxing home and we loved the hammock and full size nook area upstairs. Easy walk to the water and nice fire pit areas. My son-in-law left a vest behind and it was shipped in record time. Would highly recommend.
