About this apartment rental

Experience waterfront bliss where you are able to immerse yourself in marine life and rustic charm. Jumping fish, gillnet boats, gorgeous sunsets, and 356 species of birds make Parker Landing a nature lover's dream! Lush forests, gorgeous river views, and a hillside of Victorian-era homes provide a picturesque location for the perfect getaway.

While tucked away on the water, Parker Landing is close enough to all the sites Astoria has to offer, allowing you to venture into "little San Francisco" to explore with ease. Take a self-guided tour of more than a dozen famous film locations. Drive across the longest continuous truss bridge in North America. Enjoy spending time in town at the museums, local shops, restaurants, and breweries.

Whether experiencing all that the town Astoria has to offer or venturing out into nature, however you choose to spend your stay, the charm of Astoria will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.
This property offers self check-in with a digital code that we will provide before your stay begins.

Parking is available for 1-vehicle in the designated parking space assigned to your stateroom. RV's, boats, and commercial vehicles are not permitted for any guest.

You have shared access to the porch outside your stateroom, the picnic area, and the observation deck. Please take note of the private areas that are off limit to guests, such as the garage and the main house past Stateroom 2. These areas are reserved for Parker Landing Caretakers only.

It is strictly prohibited to fish or kayak off the property. Although beautiful, the Columbia River is dangerous. Being unfamiliar with the tides and area poses an extreme risk to you and others.

Astoria is gritty, and likes it that way. But that rustic exterior is just a cover for the many enchanting dichotomies you’ll find waiting around the next corner. Here, fisherman are poets, loggers drink espresso, and Main Street welcomes both nouveau gallery and five n’ dime.

For Astoria, it’s about character, and it’s also about characters: the people who call this place home with a passion that borders on evangelical. The skipper who challenges the same mighty river his great grandfather once fished. The artist who migrated here in search of a new palette. The hotelier who resurrected a once-bustling pier.

Astoria is that little town that could, a city of 10,000 people on the Columbia River, just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean. Founded 200 years ago at the beginning of Oregon’s North Coast, Astoria has been through boom and bust times more than once, weathering the collapse of both the Columbia River fishery and Oregon timber industry. It has risen once again as a cultural haven, often referred to as “little San Francisco.” Astoria is an old place that is newly hip. Here, Victorian mansions and maritime relics live in harmony with chef-driven restaurants and tattoo parlors.

Astoria is a port city founded in 1811. It is the oldest city in the state of Oregon and was the first American settlement west of the Rocky Mountains.

The county is the northwest corner of Oregon, and Astoria is located on the south shore of the Columbia River, where the river flows into the Pacific Ocean. The city is named for John Jacob Astor, an investor and entrepreneur from New York City, whose American Fur Company founded Fort Astoria at the site and established a monopoly in the fur trade in the early nineteenth century. Astoria was incorporated by the Oregon Legislative Assembly on October 20, 1876.

Parker Landing is surrounded by Youngs Bay and Youngs River: Youngs Bay is a body of water just west of Astoria, Oregon, and east of the communities of Warrenton and Hammond. It receives the waters of Youngs River and the Lewis and Clark River. Youngs Bay is surrounded by Astoria, Oregon, Coxcomb Hill and the Astoria Column, and Saddle Mountain. Youngs Bay is crossed by U.S. Highway-101 (Highway-26), from which there are good views of the Coast Range, Saddle Mountain, and Astoria, Oregon.

Astoria is rich in history with lots of interesting tourist attractions and stunning scenery for visitors to enjoy. We hope you will love this city and the beauty that surrounds the amenity filled accommodations of Parker Landing.

From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with sights that were simply beyond belief. Whether it was the early morning sun casting a golden hue over the landscape or the starry night sky undisturbed by city lights, every moment felt like a scene from a postcard. The property itself was comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant stay. However, it was the unparalleled views that truly set this place apart, making it a perfect getaway for anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature’s beauty.

Beautiful and spacious, not as small as the pictures made it look. Very pleasantly surprised. Kitchen is well stocked, even has an air fryer! The views from Stateroom 1 were beautiful, I bet room 2’s views are even better. The bed was super comfortable. The only critique I have, would be to put the nice room darkening blinds that are in the living and kitchen areas into the bedroom. Looking forward to staying there again on our next trip to Astoria.

Outstanding. Everything was so well thought out. Lots of attention to every little thing inside and out. Lovely views out over the bay waters from all the living areas, bedroom and kitchen. Everything was attractively done and very well taken care of inside. Very clean. Nicely appointed kitchen, living area, bathroom and laundry. A little off the beaten path of the city but not much. That meant a peaceful stay where you could watch the bufflehead ducks, green wing teals and cormorants in the morning then take a short drive to the various attractions in and around Astoria. Even a beaver (not a nutria) came by early while we were there. One of the nicest most well taken care of VRBO's we have ever stayed at. The owners clearly have taken great pride in this property. Parking is snug but easy once you pull in.
