About this cabin rental
License # 011332 Four Friends' Cabin, now Kingdom Cabin is a work of the heart. God led four friends to buy this cabin during December 2020. It just happened! Now we want to share our blessing with you so it can be your home away from home too!
The inside has been totally renovated, fresh paint throughout, brand new furniture throughout, brand new bedding, mattresses, new floors in bathrooms and bedrooms on main and upper floor. The master has a king log bed, The main floor has a queen bed. The downstairs is an unfinished basement but clean, every inch freshly painted and provides extra space for overflow sleeping in the Cubs' Den. The Cubs' Den has two double beds within. (See pics) The basement also provides ping pong and a separate hang out space for the kids or even another family unit. It's NOT finished, but it's on the way. We have a smart TV in the main room and one with ROKU in the "Cubs' Den" downstairs. We have free wifi for all and plan to set up a projector downstairs in our next visit.
We are near just about everything you can imagine! Love our location, it's the perfect hub! We are in north GA, almost 2 hours north of Atlanta. We are 20-35 minutes to Helen, GA, Murphy NC, Blue Ridge, GA and Tennessee. Smack dab in the middle of everything. You feel like you're in the mountains on our block, but only about 10 miles to downtown convenience; Walmart, Ingles, Home Depot and only 2 miles from Lake Nottely if you love the water in the summer like we do!
There's local hiking on the Appalachian Trail, Vogal State Park, nearby waterfalls; Helton Creek Falls and DeSoto Falls, zip lines in both Blue Ridge and Helen, GA, fly fishing, trout fishing, and water tubing/rafting on The Toccoma River from our cabin. There's Rollin Thunder River Company Ocoee Rafting and Toccoa River Tubing to choose from, let us know which is best, we've yet to go! There's even Lasso the Moon Alpaca Farm, Cabbage Patch Doll General Hospital, helicopter rides and a Casino not far away if you have a traveler that wants to do more than just hiking with you! If you look through the woods in the backyard, you can almost see the semi private Old Union Golf course, so bring your clubs if you are a golfer.

This was a lovely cabin and stay. Very clean and welcoming. It is a beautiful view from the deck and there is table out there for dining. Really liked the location as it is central to so many things to do. For example, we visited spots in North Carolina and Georgia. The check in and check out was simple. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

We really enjoyed our time here. Close to Blairsville, but not too close; great cabin; wonderful owner. The only reason I took it down a star on the listing accuracy is that the view has more trees in it than the picture in the listing. But you can't beat the cool evenings and the comfort of the cabin.

The cabin was so inviting and once you enter in, the picture does not do it justice. I wanted to take my 2 teenage boys and a friend of theirs somewhere they would have fun. My room was upstairs, my 15yr old stayed in one room, and my 14year old and his baseball buddy stayed in the basement with double beds. On the other side of that room was the game room. The ping-pong table and the hot tub outside was the hit for the kids. We tried to do s’mores in the front where the fire pit was located, but the fire didn’t stay flamed long, guess the logs were damp, can’t control the weather though. While the boys had their time in the basement, I had mine upstairs for my lil getaway.
The view was so relaxing. On that one day it rained, the boys and I went to the movies and then bowling, which was right across from the theater. While the boys made some friends at the basketball court, I went for a run. Oh my goodness, the scenery was amazing! 3 days was not enough time, we didn’t want it to end just yet. We will definitely come back, but next time may just be the mamas, we need a getaway too. 😉

A note about how to use fireplace would be helpful.
Minimal laundry detergent AND FOUND OUT WE WERE EXPECTED TO do wash OR BE CHARGE $20 A LOAD OVER 3 loads. Had to go to store to buy detergent.
Peg on top of screen door handle is loose.

This is a great cabin in the woods in a rather secluded neighborhood and my family enjoyed some time away for a few days. The kitchen and the entire house was very well stocked and the fire pit and the hottub were both nice ways to spend the cool evenings. Highly recommended!

Great cabin and location. Minutes from downtown Blairsville and yet feels like you're far enough out that you left all the busy stuff behind. We chose to prepare meals at the cabin while enjoying some fresh air. Found everything we needed to prep our meals. Every evening was spent around the outside fire ring. A lot of laughs, stories and bonding. Thanks Four Friends for sharing your cabin with us!

The house was clean, beautiful, nicely done mountain cabin, easy access to grocery stores, restaurants , close to the wedding venue, quiet neighborhood all around just what we were looking for. Communication with property owners was awesome.

What a perfect getaway cabin for our family. Our girls loved playing ping pong, enjoyed the hot tub and overall had a wonderful time. Beds were super comfy and the cabin was clean. Wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay at the Four Friends Cabin. The kitchen is nicely equipped. The view is great, and we did have visits from the local deer. Only a few minor complaints: Only one extra roll of TP is provided, and the bar stools in the dinning area are a bit uncomfortable for us Senior Citizens. Other than that, we are totally happy with our stay. Highly recommended. By the way, the owners are very nice!

Hummingbirds, deer, comfortable beds, everything you could ask for in the kitchen - great home away from home! Perfect location - close to pretty much everything, and friendly and caring owner/manager. Would definitely stay again!!

Deciding last year that our grown children (19, 20, & 21) have everything they need already, it was decided we would instead make memories as a family instead of spending a bunch of money on material things that were not needed anyways. Our trip was magnificent and the cabin was exactly what we expected and needed.

The house is comfortable and gorgeous. However, we accidently pull the screen door to open the door and do not hit the baby when it bounces back and we pull it a bit hard than mormal and the screw from the top pull out which holds the screen door shut. We tried to put the screw back in but we didn't took any tools withbus on the trip. We accepted responsability for the door once mentioned by the owners and everything was good but then they charge us for an extra cleaning because we had extra waste on the garbage bins outside the house and because the cleaning crew had to wash more linens than they anticipated. Although it was only $40, it was the fact that they were charging not because we left the house dirty but because we used more linens and more garbage bags?????? I mean.. crazy!!! After that they blame me for taking 1 linen with me according to their cleaning crew. Which I don't think I will drive 12 hours from Miami to Brairsville and paid $1200 to steal a sheet. I was very upset and make all the stay a disappointed place to stay. I will definitely do not stay there again. We used the sheets that were available on the first place in accordance to the 3 degrees F that was on Christmas. Also the garbage was in accordance with the food we took because of christmas and presents we had for each other. Plus the basement has a little heater that definitely will not warm you at all. But I will never have mentioned it until they practically tell me that I was a burglar. I was very disapointed because the house was left entirely how we got it for the exception of the screen door which we were fully responsabible and we were going to asume it with the insurance. Not right! 1st bad review in so many years and places. Just fyi.. I did pay the extra money so I will just left this bad moment on the past and they don't text back asking for the money.

The Four Friends Cabin is delightful. The large kitchen and living area was a perfect size for our 5 adults. The three bedrooms are on separate levels, which afforded privacy and accommodated different sleep/wake routines. The master king suite upstairs was huge and cozy with a fantastic view. The bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked. The entire cabin was immaculate. The porch overlooking the back yard and woods was perfect; we enjoyed watching deer bound through in the mornings.
There is a steep drive down to the cabin and steps are required to access the doors, typical of the area, which might not work for someone with mobility problems. That wasn’t a problem for us and we enjoyed walking up the hill to visit family staying nearby.
Colleen was wonderful and responsive. I would definitely book this cabin again.

Our host was very communicative and answered any questions quickly. The cabin was immaculate, everything we needed had been thought of. The hot tub in the cool evenings was amazing. Great location and only a short drive from town. We saw deer just about every day, and you really felt like you were staying in the wilderness. We would definitely book this cabin again.

We enjoyed our stay in Blairsville at the Four Friends Cabin. The hot tub was a blissful way to end a day full of adventures! Everything was well stocked and the cabin is so clean!!! The beds are firm but comfortable. There’s plenty of seating for a family in the family room and dining area. We utilized pretty much everything they had! The grill, the fire pit, the hot tub, the fireplace.. all worked well and were in good condition. Nice location. Close to shopping. Only an hour drive in any direction to a huge variety of activities! We only wish we were able to stay a whole week (we only had 4 days free to get away) because we really enjoyed our one day we stayed home at the cabin for the day and wished we had more time.
We recommend this cabin and hope to get back there in the future.

Can't really ask for more. Was 110% clean and comfortable. From chilling out in the hot tub followed by a fire in the fire pit...every night was perfect. We fished and golfed and shopped....if you are on the fence you can not go wrong. Colleen was in touch the whole time. Can't wait to stay again.

Just what was needed for a relaxing few days. Cabin was nice and clean and floor plan very convenient. Loved being able to sit on the deck, BBQ, relax in the rocking chairs, and view the woods along with the anticipation of our evenings' visiting deer. Great location as well being remote but, still conveniently close to endless attractions such as vineyards, Mercier's apple orchard, quaint small town shopping, and lakes for those who enjoy water sports.
Very enjoyable time all around. Only inconvenience was that of the vehicle area in which to get turned around but, it was navigable with a little practice. Would definitely recommend to those wanting to unwind, move at their own pace, and enjoy that needed laid back piece and quite.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin! Cute decor, comfy beds and bedding, and awesome hot tub! Loved hanging out on the porch watching fireflies, listening to rain, and enjoying beautiful nature! Also had some epic ping pong matches 😉Will definitely be back!

Great long weekend get-away
We really enjoyed our time in Blairsville and this cute cabin. No issues with anything except figuring out the fireplace but received a quick response from the owner with a helpful video as well. Will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely perfect!
My hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Four Friends Cabin! We came up to North Ga for hubbys bday to the Travis Tritt concert in Hiawasse and to take in the beautiful fall foliage. We hit it just right! The colors were AMAZING and TT was awesome! The cabin is so charming and cozy. The friends have put a lot of hard work into it and it shows. We were not disappointed with anything. We didn't not want to leave! God has truly blessed this venture for them.. The hot tub was AMAZING (thanks Collen 😊 ) and so relaxing even with the cool mountain nights. There is plenty of room for two or three couples or two couples with kids! The neighborhood is so quiet, pleasant and safe yet close to the town of Blairsville and there is a Dollar General less than 2 miles should you need anything.. Also a gas station that sells wine ;) We didn't get to meet any of the neighbors but I'm sure they are very pleasant as well. Just bring your clothes and personal items and food and you are set ! Colleen was easy to get in contact with and quick to answer any questions. The driveway is a little steep but the trick is... once you go down slowly, turn right and pull up to front of cabin then you can back out and will be at a better angle to head back up the driveway. Once we figured that out, it was no problem going up and down in our Expedition. We absolutely recommend staying here 💯! You will not be disappointed. May God continue to bless these families and their beautiful home away from home ! 🙏❤

It was a very nice and quiet get away after taking care of our mom for four years. She went home June 17th, and we couldn't take a week vacation. So we THANK YOU ALL FOR LETTING US STAY THERE.
