About this cottage rental
Owned, cleaned, and maintained by our family, the Farm Cottage is nestled in the the woods near Martin City, Montana. This beautifully kept cottage is only 9 miles from the West entrance to Glacier National Park. The cottage is one of 3 buildings on 40 acres of private land and offers privacy and relaxation after exploring the area. Check-in is simple with a door code presented to guests a week before check-in. We provide 2 cans of bear spray for you to borrow on your hikes. The cabin is available year-round and is perfect for warm summer vacations or a winter hideaway. The master bedroom offers a king size bed while the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need and view towards the forest of the property as well as an overlook of the fire pit. Out the front door leads to the covered porch with an area for sitting as well as a dining table and chairs. From the porch your views consist of our private barn, open field with our private garden and chicken-coup as well as a gravel path that leads to the other rental cabin. There is one security camera on the property that faces towards the barn. Chickens are quite and will not disturb at night (no roosters,) but they always love seeing new visitors! There is one camera that points out over the driveway towards that barn and garden. If you have any questions let us know, thank you!

This place was wonderful and so close to Glacier West Entrance. Very tidy inside and out. Lovely garden and firepit areas. Beds very comfortable. Stayed here with my husband and two teens. Kids didn't want to share the bed in the second bedroom, so our son slept on the living room couch. The couch was big enough for him to sleep comfortably and he is 5'10".

Do not even think about it- it is so perfect. Everything was orderly, so comfortable- the property has such great vibes. Courteous owners and location, location, location- so close to major shopping and restaurants in Columbia Falls; and very close to Glacier. Well and thoughtfully stocked, comfortable beds, bear spray provided and everything works well.

This was a really comfortable, neat, and tidy house for our stay in MT. We loved the spacious feel of the house and the picnic table on the front porch. It’s a great location. We ended up having more luck finding hikes outside the park than in because of the road construction and crowding in the park. But there was no lack of places to go and amazing sights to see around here. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The farmhouse was a perfect stay for our family of four during our trip to Glacier National Park. The location is close to the park but in a quiet, peaceful place. I enjoyed reading a book on the front porch and the kids enjoyed the games provided. A fantastic place to rest after our adventures in the park.

What a beautiful home, property and experience.
The home and property itself are beautifully maintained - the attention to detail and the little things made this stay absolutely perfect for our honeymoon in Glacier. Communication between the owners and us was clear, and they were incredibly thoughtful and helpful with any and everything that we needed.
We would happily come back and hope to in the future. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

Very well kept property secluded away from the towns but easy distance to them and Glacier Park. One house of neighbors close but could hardly see them and equally nice place. If you like the quiet and outdoors, perfect place to be.

The house was so quaint and perfect for our first trip to Montana! Extremely close to Going-to-the-Sun Road as well. Very clean and well stocked. We would love to use this property again in future travels!

We only spent two nights at the Farm Cottage. It wasn't enough! This is a beautiful, spacious, immaculate cottage - like new. An excellent appointed kitchen - the best ever! Comfortable bed. Lovely view - I can only imagine how it changes through the seasons. Quiet, treed location. Great directions given to find it. Hosts are easy to access and very helpful. We highly recommend this Farm Cottage for your stay in and around Glacier National Park.

This property checked all of my boxes, and I’m a pretty picky traveler! The location was great for all of the day trips that we took to explore the area. The cottage had everything that we needed, was impeccably clean, is secluded on a lot of acreage, and was very quiet and private. Communication with the owner was great. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to book this place again.

Stayed here for a hiking trip to Glacier, and this property was perfect for everything we needed. The house and property were beautiful, very clean, and stocked with everything we needed (including bear spray), plus some nice touches like the huckleberry jam and bread. This is very close to the west entrance to Glacier (which was unfortunately closed when we were here) but also conveniently close to highway 2 which takes you around the park to East Glacier. We were out hiking most of every day, but we would definitely book here again and try to get some hang out time by the very nice fire pit outside!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay here. The house was adorable and we liked how close we were to Glacier National Park. I had coffee every morning out on the deck and we cooked a few meals in the kitchen and on the grill. We've stayed at a few other houses that had more of the "extras" (spices, condiments, etc) but I asked about that and owners let me know so I could prepare before arrival. Check out was nice and easy. The owners stopped by during our stay and were a very pleasant family and we enjoyed our chat.

We had a lovely stay in the Farm Cottage. The property is not too far off the main road - but in a quiet area where you feel secluded. Location is in a great spot in between Columbia Falls and West Glacier - you are about 18 - 20 minutes from Columbia Falls and 20 minutes to West Glacier Entrance. We very much enjoyed coming back from a day in Glacier to this beautiful home. Property is clean, comfortable, and very well maintained!

A wonderful home to come to after a day (really 2 days) of being in Glacier National Park. A welcoming spacious place, beautifully appointed (love the wood furniture throughout) and so comfortable with everything we'd need-- laundry, fully supplied kitchen with all utensils, appliances & dishwasher, coolers to use on day trips, AND bear spray with holders! A lovely note awaited us along with breakfast goodies! Because we spent full days driving & stopping the Road to the Sun and at the educational visitor centers, checking out the historical hotel-lodges' lobbies and hiking -- we did not get to use the grill and outside spaces as we'd planned. Great shower! Comfortable beds! Too tired to enjoy streaming TV. Also- we added a few books to the shelf in the bedroom closet, using the space (and weight) for NPS t-shirt purchases.

This location was top notch for my family. It had everything and then some. Plus it was only 9 miles from the West entrance. And the hosts were so sweet to answer all our texts and we arrived to a surprise welcome gift. Definitely will be back sometime in the future.

Good, accurate and timely responses from the owner both early and throughout the process and our subsequent stay. The house and the grounds are clean, up to date and efficient. Well designed for transient guests. Will recommend to friends and family and may just come again ourselves.

If you are looking for a rental near Glacier National Park on the west side and this home is available, don’t hesitate to jump on it. This home was the perfect home base for our GNP vacation. After a full day of exploring and hiking GNP, it was so nice to come back to this rental. There was plenty of room to relax and get comfortable…whether it was in the living room, outside on the front porch or around the fire pit, or in a bedroom. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of room and counter space for my family of four’s toiletries. We also enjoyed a couple evenings eating dinner outside on the picnic table. There is another rental on the property. We couldn’t see much of it but could hear them outside in the evenings we sat around the fire pit. Certainly not a deal breaker but wanted to point that out. We have Verizon and had great service on the property. We really enjoyed this property…probably one of my favorite rentals.

From the moment we pulled in until we reluctantly had to leave, this house was perfect! Super neat and clean and well appointed. We especially enjoyed the porch, gas logs fireplace, and well equipped kitchen. Next time we are in the area, we hope to enjoy this house again!

Amazing property!
This is one of the most amazing places to stay. The house is spotless and perfectly decorated. It's a picture perfect location only about 7 minutes from Glacier park and very quiet. Communication was very accurate and very quick. The bread and huckleberry jelly was also a nice touch. I'll be back here next year.

Exceptional Home
The Immaculate Farm Cottage was clean, restful, and very well equipped. It is in a beautiful, secluded and very quiet setting, with a great outdoor fire pit sitting area. The location makes travel to Glacier National Park, Whitefish, Kalispell, and Big Fork very convenient. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect in Every Way
This property is perfect. It's close enough to the park to be convenient, but out of the way off the hustle and bustle. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals, the dining room and living room were homey, the beds were comfortable, the shower is AMAZING, and the wood furniture throughout is a thing of beauty. This place was put together with much care and love, and it made our vacation! If we could have stayed there forever, we would have. Shane and Camille were the perfect hosts, always available if we needed anything but never intruding into our quiet oasis. I cannot recommend this place enough.
