Fabulous host, cottage amazingly clean, had everything we needed, grounds massive and enclosed our two dogs had a blast. Was lovely to sit in the garden and enjoy the sun and scenery. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Nothing.

I tried to call the owner about our arrival and how to enter the cottage. To my surprise I saw it was an Australian phone-number?? So I emaild the owner. Got a quick and nice reply with the code of the keysafe and the phonenumber of the estatemanager in case we should need more help.
The cottage itself was easy to find and to reach by the driveway. Enough parkingspace. Nice and spacious cottage with everything we need. Bit strange that the livingroom is also the bedroom, but that's how it is. Handsoap, towels, cuttlery, pans, watercooker, tea, coffee, hot chocolatpowder etc. etc. were all available.
Had a nice and quiet stay.
P.S. For those who wonder where the wifi password is: It is at the bottom-side of the router ;)
The seats of the couches are much too soft, so you sink very far into them. This makes it almost impossible to get out of the couch. New couches with a firmer seat would be a good improvement.
In the kitchen we missed a "Stir fry pan". If you want to make a one-pan dish or a stir fry dish, you can't get along with the pans present. Adding a good Stir fry pan would be an improvement as well.

a cosy open plan bungalow with a great shower and comfortable bed, everything you needed in the kitchen.
garden furniture for the annexe was disappointing two metal chairs and a small metal table ,,,would be nice to have a comfortable seating area to enjoy the lovely views

A really lovely quiet location. Was exactly what we wanted. Everything was there what we needed. A nice bottle of wine and biscuits was there when we arrived. Housekeeper Phil was really helpful. Would definitely recommend

The Location was further from Barnstaple than expected.
The property needs new entrance door and New windows, also a new latch for inside door. More shelves / cupboards in bathroom. Bus time tables would be good.

Lovely location. Quiet and clean, comfortable cottage.
Nice to have dishwasher and modern shower room. Complementary wine was lovely.
Bed very comfortable.
Easier access to the Wi-Fi code would’ve been helpful. We found it eventually. It would be good if the door catch worked between main room and entrance. Our dog kept going out into the entrance. It would’ve been nice to have some racking/shelf in the shower to put soap/shampoo on.

the house and area were good.
there was no organisation by the host. I could not enter when I arrived. There was no heating on and no instructions provided. No key passcode or info supplied.

Lovely sunny location, easy instructions to find and parking out front. Pretty garden to side of property with nice outlook over fields. Comfortable bed and great shower.
Would have appreciated a folder with information about the appliances in the property, and info on Barnstaple

Superb location
Value for money
Comfortable accommodation
Disliked being woken by the owner a day before leaving due to them having our wrong departure date. We did not appreciate them knocking the door & phoning before double checking the booking confirmation. There was no apology forthcoming which we found a little discourteous. Although we were not affected & enjoyed a peaceful stay it was mentioned to us that Priory House, which is located nearby, holds stag parties etc. This would be of concern to us with regards to noise & impact on any decision to rebook in the future.
