About this house rental
Come enjoy the beach at this beautiful 4 bedroom/3.5 bath 2nd-row beachside home, located in the Hershey Beach Galveston subdivision. This spacious home accommodates up to 12 people and is pet-friendly. Small pets less than 20 lbs.-please.
The kitchen is well equipped for the chef in the family. No one misses out on the fun in this open floor plan home with amazing views of the gulf. The primary bedroom has a king bed, cable TV. and deck access. The primary bathroom is equipped with a Jacuzzi tub. The 2nd bedroom on the main level has a queen bed, cable TV. and deck access; private bath with a Jacuzzi tub. There are 2 bedrooms and a half bath on the upper level; both bedrooms have 2 queen beds. The 3rd full bath is located in the hall off the kitchen. Full-size washer/dryer behind the kitchen.
This home has both gulf and bay views for all to enjoy. The house is equipped with central a/c & heat, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, cable TV. and Internet. The outside offers a fenced-in yard, swing, hammock, and picnic table for your enjoyment. The fireplace is Nonworking.
HERSHEY BEACH
Hershey Beach is located on Galveston's West End, on the beachside, just 6 miles from town, West of Sunny Beach and East of Pirates' Beach.

This home is pet-friendly. Weight limit of 20 pounds. All pets must be registered, and pet fee ($100/pet) must be paid upfront. This vacation home should accommodate up to 4 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

The location to the beach was great. The pictures of the inside of the home wasn’t the same. The reviews from previous guests was a better assessment of the home. We enjoyed our stay.

Thanksgiving weekend with my extended family. 10 ppl total, 7 adults, 3 kids. Very comfortable, but dated bathrooms. Read the bathroom descriptions. Only one full bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink. 2 bathrooms with sink, toilet and jacuzzi tub, NO SHOWERS. And 1/2 bath upstairs toilet and sink. Some low cost maintenance/touch-ups would go a long way. Outstanding and fast Wifi. No curtains or blinds on windows, but we later discovered built-in electric hurricane rolling shutters. Look for light switches near the windows. Small “hotel like” bath and kitchen soaps were provided. We didn’t cook in the kitchen, but it looked stocked with essentials. Nice view of the beach. Comfortable and new reclining living room furniture. Outdoor stairs and railings need repairs, loose railing and nails sticking out.

We had a great time. The house is beautiful, across the street from the beach and in close proximity to everything we needed. Lots of fun and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

The Summer Breeze was in a great location, very spacious and we loved the floor plan of the house. The beach house was clean but not very well maintained. We had several issues during our stay and as directed we called Ryson Reality (the company that maintains this property). Ryson only responded to one issue (rain pouring into the master bedroom on the east side of the house during a thunderstorm). We used the bath towels to soak up the water and protect the laminate flooring. The maintenance guy was very nice and did what he could to stop more damage to the house. After attempting to seal the window he took the wet towels and said Housekeeping would deliver more towels. They did not. The weekend we stayed the weather was cold and rainy and we had very little hot water. After one person bathed or showered we were without hot water for more than an hour. We called and reported this issue twice but no one ever came out to respond to these calls. The beach house was suppose to accommodate 12 people and regarding sleeping it did BUT if everyone in your group wants at least a warm shower you may want to consider a different location.

Love how it had electric storm shutters so at night we could close them and not have the light in our face through the windows in the morning. I would say the property needs a better grill, it has two small cheap grills and it really should have a nicer one. They provided lots of towels, make sure you bring trash bags, dishwasher tabs/dish soap, and a sponge, paper towels and charcoal for the grill.
