The location was amazing and the staff were exceptional. I have a seafood allergy and our 3 meals there went off without a hitch! The room we had also had a large private balcony which we enjoyed!

This is a very affordable place to stay in Roatan. Our room, 206-a garden view room, was newly renovated, large, clean and very comfortable. The A/C worked great. Garden rooms are quiet and are close to the main house. The best part of our stay was diving with Jose, the Dive master, and Chris, the boat captain! They were so great to dive with for the week! Jose responded to emails about diving prior to our arrival. They have a well maintained and recently renovated marina at the property. There are many clean and spacious areas to relax outside, either by the pool, with a great view, or on any of the patios with comfy lounge furniture surrounded by well kept grounds. The quality of the food at the restaurant was very good. The location is close to a large market. The staff is friendly, for the most part, and they were very good at helping us to get transportation. The shuttle driver is very kind and helpful and came to get us at 9:30pm when our flight was cancelled.
We tried many times to email the hotel prior to our arrival to arrange tours and an airport shuttle. They never responded. We arrived in Roatan and had to call them to come get us. While the food at the restaurant is good it is very expensive. Breakfast was about $35-40, Lunch and dinner, same menu, was $60-80. Be prepared for the location. It is not near the main tourist/beach area and taxis are also very expensive, about $40 PER PERSON each way to the West End area of bars, restaurants, and shops. Something else to think about is that the Sea View rooms overlook an active marina with all the sights, sounds and smells that come along with that. They are at the sea level of the property so you have a well maintained walkway and stairs to get to the main house with the restaurant. Courtyard rooms will be closest to the road and overlook the parking lot. We went for the diving and this was perfect for that!

Location, near great places on the east side of the island, has a supermarket just a block away, it is also very clean, the bed was comfortable

beds were pretty comfortable and the food was really good. The hound lady at reception was really nice
“oven view” is a lagoon. the doc in front of our room was being worked on and the workers were out there until past 8PM blasting music and then came back at 7 AM to continue. the room was located at the BOTTOM of the hill so we had to walk up a big hill and climb 3 flights of stairs to get to the main lobby and restaurant.

Great location, walking distance from supermarket, gas station. Great view of the bay.
Very noisy guests in the upstairs room.

The restaurant was very nice and the staff were very welcoming.
The location wasn’t the best. There was a very nice market within walking distance so that was a positive.

Scuba diving was decent
No beach access!!
Room did not meet expectations.
Motel (Dump) was far from a beach!! Place was dirty with trash exposed right outside my room near laundry facility-
General Manager informed me other resort I was looking into DID NOT have scuba diving.
Canal is extremely filthy with exposed trash no shore and alligators.
Room had numerous mosquitoes, even after staff sprayed.
Only large window had heavy black-out curtains near door.
Only other window was in bathroom was very small and no curtains, open view from anyone in parking lot.
Staff in front office was extremely rude!! Receptionist advised me to leave & never return!
Booking.com advertises private beach next door-FALSE!!
Motel (Dump) is on hill with 2steep staircases to get to bar and dive shop at bottom of hill.
Prickly bush covers half staircase leading downhill.
General Manager offered discount on my room for first two days & upgrade my room in 2 days when larger room became available.
Two days later, he said larger room was unavailable.
I left after two days.
General Manager overcharged me and threatened to contact Police if I did not pay full amount.

This place is a hidden gem! The room was bigger than expected and the breeze was constant, which made the stay so enjoyable. It was close enough to the market that we could walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Special thanks to Kendy and Chelena for all their help. They are the BEST! Looking forward to visiting again soon.
The smell coming from the shore was a little loud, but I hear that is just the time of year we visited. Overall, this is a great place!
