Lovely flat and great hosts.
Very comfortable beds and sofa. Very clean. Good space.
Difficult to keep cool on the hot days as no aircon but it was only hot for 2 days. ( and there were fans so it was ok)

Nice apartment
Located in Saint Luise, very close to Basel, this apartment has been renovated and modernized. The apartment itself is clean but the stairs to the building are very dirty. There were cobwebs out of apartment. Except for the kettle, not much was missing in the house. The beds are comfortable. There is even Netflix on TV. We enjoyed our stay. But only one window opens in the house. Others are blocked. We stayed for two nights and it was very very hot. It's a good apartment for 4 people, we recommend it.

has met its goals
nicely organised, very quiet.
a cooling system would be nice, as even with a fan it gets considerably warm.

Very good
The apartment size is nice and it is really good to have the smart TV.
The bath area need to improve. The shower faucet is too loose it can’t be on proper angle we need. And the glass might can change to larger one as the water can spill out easily.

Bad
Avoid this apartment. The host is a manipulator and a big liar. We rented an apartment and stated that we would arrive between 10 and 11 p.m., we received instructions on e-mail where the keys would be left. When we arrived at the destination, the building was not light, we used our cell phones to turn on 0the lights to find the door to the keys. Upon entering the apartment, it was cold , we had a 3-year-old child and a 6-month-old baby with us. The mattress on the double bed is covered with cheap nylon that rustles and you cannot sleep on it. The radiator in the hallway and bedroom did not work and it couldn't even turn it on, all the windows in the apartment are blowing because they are wooden and old. In the bathroom there was a dirty ear stick from past tourists on the floor. The sugar dispenser was extremely dirty with the remains of old coffee. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was full of dirt. The lamps on the bedside tables do not work, they have no batteries. We checked out at 10:30 and left the key according to the instructions we received in the e-mail. After a few days, we send an e-mail to Booking and the host that we are not satisfied. The host apologized for the dirty ear stick in the bathroom, for the radiators he wrote that maybe our three-year-old child turned them off, and the windows should have been closed low. When I replied that I was thinking about leaving a negative rating, the host started to invent lies, that we attacked his cleaner and that it was recorded on camera, that we disturbed them, that we committed a criminal offense and entered the apartment without authorization, as we did not check out on time, that we insulted them. We were shocked reading the messages, I note that at no time did we see the host or the cleaning lady or anyone else. This experience was extremely traumatic for us.

Pleasant
spacious and furnished Clean tv with great choice of programs
Rapidly found out this was a low budget renovation so many parts start being damaged, all Ikea type stuff (bed, couch….) with moderate comfort. Location is not so close to the border (>1km) so you do not access the swiss tram ….. and need to walk or have your own car. Uber did not seem so well served i the area to get drivers. This is probably a better price/value for families or groups of friends.

Exceptional
Perfect for what we wanted, very close to the Basel border. The apartament is large, clean, very complete. The host was also extremely nice, he let us keep the luggage at the apartament until we went to the airport. The bathroom is also amazing, would recommend to stay just for the spa-like bath. Just an amazing experience altogether.
