About this house rental

Our vision with this property was always clear and consistent as with all of my other properties. We wanted to combine all our favorite features from various Airbnb stays around the world under one roof. We hope that we have accomplished just that, and we are always grateful for any tips that can help us get closer to this goal.

Our family stayed at this property for our daughter's UNCG college graduation weekend. It was an older home with very few updates, but it was adequate for what we needed for a long weekend. The host was responsive and check in was easy. If you are looking for a luxury stay, I would not recommend this property. If you are looking for a small, cozy place that feels like a little cottage with a nice, little yard/patio, then this is a place you would enjoy. :-)

We stayed here for 4 nights for my daughter’s graduation from Elon and to help her move into a new apartment. There were 5 of us, including my elderly parents. We enjoyed the clean and comfortable home and the outdoor space where we hung out and relaxed mostly for breakfast. Easy access to the highway- about 25-30 minutes to Elon. The host, Richard, was very responsive to any questions! We highly recommend this VRBO for your stays.

After realizing we would need a place to stay longer than 1-2 days, and also needing a pet friendly location, I was able to find Amelia’s Retreat. It was the perfect spot, the home is nice, we had plenty of room, and the backyard was perfect for our little dog. The location was great and conveniently located to shopping and a variety of restaurants. We would love to stay here again on our future trips to the area!

The property was very clean and more! Easy access from our destination and shopping and groceries was close. Never had any issues, property owner is always available to answer questions and help. Our dogs loved the back yard and room to play. Privacy was awesome and neighborhood quiet. Loved all the extras the owners left for us to enjoy!

The house was what we were looking for and met our needs perfectly. It was clean and well stocked with anything you could want and more. The owner was gracious to have snacks, coffee, and other goodies available to us. Bed was comfortable. We loved the fenced in yard which worked well for my dog to stretch his legs and play. It's a place that will give you a cozy at-home feeling! We had a great time and the owner was excellent with communication. Thank you for a nice place to stay!

My daughter had a soccer tournament in Greensboro! This home was perfect as we wanted to bring our dog, and didn’t want to stay in a hotel with all of us! We had a great stay, and the home met our needs perfectly.

My family rented this vrbo due to its proximity to a wedding and its dog friendliness. The house was clean as well as kindly and thoughtfully stocked with snacks and basic kitchen and laundry provisions. Good bathroom supplies too. The property is as described and our dog loved romping around in the large, fenced-in backyard. it also had Roku TVs that were easy to use. Quiet neighbors. Would happily stay here again. Thank you!

Our son is a Marine recruiting in Greensboro. We have previously stayed at hotels, but with pets it’s difficult. This house was perfect! It had everything we needed, and the host was extremely responsive. We will be back again next year!

Richard was very warm, welcoming, and prompt with all communication. House was clean and as described. Small area in the backyard fence that had an opening so I didn't trust my dog to run around but other then that we really enjoyed our stay.

Very clean and well stocked with things u wouldn’t expect. Very easy check in . The snacks they had waiting was very thoughtful. The backyard is absolutely wonderful. I would definitely stay again my next trip here . U won’t regret booking this home . I only sent a few messages to the host and he was very prompt answering. It’s very close to everything

My boyfriend and I stayed several days with our two dogs and had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and just as depicted in the photos. Our dogs enjoyed the back yard SO MUCH; it’s not something they’re used to back home. We loved the personal welcoming touches when we arrived: a thoughtful hand-written greeting card from Ashlyn, human snacks for us (including delicious baked goods from a local store), AND treats and toys for the dogs! Richard was incredibly prompt with answering messages and was nothing short of professional. The property is in close proximity (no more than 10 minutes) to anything you could think of needing, so convenient! If we come back to this area, we would love to stay again!

Very nice and clean home with a good location. The communication was above our expectations, always quick to respond and even checked in to make sure everything was OK. We were welcomed with fresh Krispy Kreme donuts and many other snacks. I highly recommend this property and was a wonderful first vrbo experience. We would love to stay here again when we come back for the junior olympics!

We were in town to visit with our son and his wife. This home gave us plenty of room and opportunity to enjoy their company while being close to many things. We loved the back yard and spent cool evenings playing games and visiting. The owners had several wonderful surprises for us including delicious pastries from their favorite bakery. We would love to stay here again.

From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we chose a great place. Richard had thought of every detail: welcoming snacks, additional toiletries, kitchen amenities, and even a new toy for our dog. This place was perfect for our week in Greensboro, NC. The bedrooms were set up well with plenty of storage. Most importantly, the beds were so comfy. The thoughtfulness of phone chargers, a noise machine, TVs in every room, and security system helped make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The living and dining room was set up well with plenty of space for all us to watch shows, have meals together, and even work. The kitchen and laundry were well equipped with extra details too. The backyard was over the top; well appointed with lounge chairs, Adirondacks, a hammock and a fire pit. It was a great place to start my day with coffee on the deck and a fire in the evening. Thank you for making our home away from home stay so easy and nice.
