10.0 / 10.0
We are a family of 5 and went to go see our daughter up in Lakewood. The location was great cause we were in between Lakewood and Downtown Denver. Jill was very accommodating and the property was great. It snowed all weekend which made it even better.

I hate to leave negative reviews, but want to make others aware of our experience at this house. Overall it wasn't terrible, but I would not stay here again, or recommend it. Upon entering and first inspection, we noticed it wasn't very clean. Blinds and baseboards and some surfaces were terribly dusty. There was some coffee drips on the baseboards, something dripped on a bathroom cupboard, grease on a kitchen cupboard.. Floors didn't appear very clean, the carpets could use a deep cleaning. There was hair underneath the sheets on the mattress covers.. those should most certainly be washed after every visit as well, not just the sheets. The pots and pans were in terrible condition - in fact we had to go to Walmart and buy our own for the weekend. The dishwasher started leaking bc a seal wasn't working properly - we fixed it, but the flooring in this house is so wonky, maybe the dishwasher isn't leveled well.
After I made the host aware of some of the issues, she had the cleaning lady come in again, and the hosts communication was good. But the cleaning lady still did a sub-par job.
Both showers have very low water pressure.
Be aware that this is a shared unit, there is another apartment through the back yard, so the backyard and parking space is shared.
On a good note, the upgrades are really nice. The countertops, cupboards, bathrooms, tile... so it's a shame the cleaning and care isn't up to that standard.

This house was perfect for our family of 5. The house is decorated so nicely and we had everything we needed. We loved taking morning walks through the neighborhood. It was a quick drive to downtown and we went there multiple
Times. Very well stocked kitchen.

Everything was streamlined for us, including the check-in/out process and handling things while we were there. The property was great and Jill is a great host.

This place is beautiful and private. I would guess most of the house has been remodeled recently as it is gorgeous. However, we really struggled to get the code to get in. I left 3 messages with vrbo, and did not hear back. Luckily, a handyman was working on the property and called the owner to assist. At 3:13, (check in is at 3:00), we received directions to the house and the code. We never did receive instructions on checking out. I would definitely stay here again though.
