The four-bedroom, three-bath layout can comfortably accommodate everyone in your group, with king, queen, and double beds, and a futon in the office. This two-level home features two bedrooms and a convenient full kitchen on each level. The two levels can be connected or left separate - your choice! Beautiful Bass Lake lets you enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bicycling. The home is near the Pines Village at the lake, which provides restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The town of Oakhurst is about seven miles away, with shopping, restaurants, bars, a movie cinema, and a live stage theater. The Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is 12 miles away.
Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this, summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall. We have no control over lake levels.

Great location...no long grass in the water. Lawn chairs could be updated...some are broken but others not too bad. Overall a great place! We went end of August and house wasn't too hot either.

"Cottage" for sure - Quaint, quirky with a lot of miles but the location can't be beat.

Worst experience ever! No AC and broken attic fan in 110 degree weather. Broken boat dock. Dirty house with spiders in bathroom and bedroom. No propane for bbq. Stairs and railings dangerously loose. BBQ filled with grease. I can go on and on. My guests left after the first night. I am very disappointed!

Lovely older home. Right on the water. A very funky but fun house. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Lots of outdoor space for sitting as well. We had a great time. Maybe not the best for children 5 and under as the stairs both inside and out are very steep. The beds were very comfy. Thanks

This place is in an awesome area, close to the pines village and in the spring/summer when the lake is full (hopefully) you’ll be lake front in a great little cove. The house is a little dated & has a unique layout, if you want to get from downstairs to upstairs inside the house you’ll have to go through one of the upstairs bathrooms & bedrooms but you could also access the upstairs from the multiple outside decks and stairs. The home has a ton of character and wonderful views. The road down to the house is a little tight be aware if you have a large vehicle. Had a couple minor problems, I couldn’t figure out how to get the hot water on demand started, the Wi-Fi was out and at one point a tarp covering the swamp cooler blew off while it was raining and there was a little leak in the living room. In all cases vacasa got people out there quickly and solved each problem! Shot out to DJ who came out in the rain on his night off to get the hot water going, thank you, much appreciated. Got this place on a whim the day after Christmas, there were 6 of us 3 adults & 3 kiddos. We let the kids take the downstairs and the adults upstairs. It was a great trip at a great place, would absolutely stay here again.

When we checked in, it was 92F in the house. We called several times and Vacasa reps said that only a local manager could deal. By 8p we decided to find a new place to stay for the night. We checked back the next day after receiving a note that maintenance had fixed the AC and the house was much cooler. We were able to stay the remaining nights. I called Vacasa 3 times and every rep sympathized with us and said that everything was noted in our account and we should get some sort of refund but Vacasa continues to give us the run around. It’s a beautiful lake but we would not return to this residence and perhaps would think twice for any vacasa residences in the future.
